Tried to levy an extra service charge at check in and which we declined to pay The breakfast area was extremely cramped with too many tables shoehorned into a small space - we were given a table that attracted major foot traffic near the buffer serving areas and this was not relaxing - the breakfast was very average - the bread wasn’t fresh, the eggs and pastries were not the best at all.

The hotel is very well localized. It is very near to Westfield London Shopping, 2 tube stations and 1 overground station. You will have access to 3 different lines, including Central Line, which lead you to the most common places to visit. Also, the staff is very attentive and helpful and the hotel is new and modern. It is a pleasant place to stay.

The cleaning of the room could be a little better. It happened to see some dirt from the day before after the housekeeping, but I must say that it was not an issue. They joined two single bed and this, in fact, bothered me more, as the separation was uncomfortable. We also have some problem with the safe, and asked for help 3 times, but it was ineffective.

1..Breakfast coffee machine - cold coffees,seemed old,2 days was broken,sad that such a hotel has only one coffee machine to serve all customers.. 2..rude receptionist to tell us when waiting for an uber taxi at 23.45 and my wife just closed eyes to relax on a lobby's couch "sleeping is not allowed".(need to understand sleeping from closing eyes as sitting on a couch)unacceptable-unprofessional - needless to mention after a)..spending a whole week to hotel and b).. specially next to us some youngsters were having McDonald's at hotel's lobby..sad

It is an absolutely beautiful hotel inside and out. The bed is really comfy with an incredible set of pillows.

The en-suite smelled really damp, I am assuming as a result of the shower flooding easily which in turn pours onto the floor. There is a rainfall shower head as well as a normal shower head and the rainfall shower dripped freezing cold water. I was there for a business event and needed to iron a blazer. The iron in the room leaked water which drenched my blazer and the ironing board jammed resulting in it not folding back down. There was only 2 small cartons of water in the mini fridge in the room, there could have definitely been much better snacks and drinks provided. The room was very small and for what I paid. I would have expected a little more room for the money.

The staff were friendly welcoming. The location is perfect for my needs.

The room was good, but it clearly needs some TLC. If I had paid the suite price rather than it being an upgrade, I would have been disappointed. The door on the fridge cabinet was hanging off the hinges, the shower cubical was smaller than other rooms I have stayed in, and flooded the bathroom when used. Also, the blinds to close the windows out onto the street were broken out of their tracks and difficult to open /close. These smaller windows could do with being frosted. The TV remote control didn't always work, and the light switch configuration was difficult to figure out and didn't make sense.

Great renovated property - the lobby/restaurant area is a highlight and we really enjoyed the quality of the buffet breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. Every encounter with the staff was very positive - they were helpful, pleasant and friendly. The rooms are a good size for London - it’s not easy to find central, quality places with comfortable room for families. While the rooms are older, they are tidy and the bathroom was a great size and and the hotel is exceptionally quiet. The location is ideal - quick links to the central London on multiple modes of transport, nice green space in front of the hotel and endless choice and variety of restaurants, facilities and services - with the bonus of Westfield five minutes walk.

The room size is ideal for a comfortable sleep - if you’re someone who likes to spend time in your room on holidays (which we are not) the rooms are not of the size that size.

The accommodation I had originally booked was very substandard, my wife had arrived ill: I abandoned that accommodation and went to the Dorsett for assistance. The staff at the Dorsett went above and beyond in assisting in sorting accommodation for my ill wife and I. Ahmed, on the reception desk at 1600 on Sunday 25 August, was exceptionally helpful and the Dorsett should be very pleased with him as an employee! I thank him and the rest of the staff for their assistance. My wife very much needed the ability to rest properly and comfortably to start recovery. The hotel facilities are extremely good, staff and service are exceptional. I have already recommended the hotel in very strong terms to a number of friends. I have visited London at least a dozen times in recent decades and the Dorsett Dao in Shepherd's Bush is simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in, in that city. I will stay here on any future visits to London. Centrally situated, if you are visiting London, stay in this hotel.

I cannot think of anything which I disliked - and my wife liked the hotel more than I did.

My sister and I checked in for Taylor Swift's concert last 16th August and when we came back to our hotel room, we saw these left on the table. Now that's exceptional service! You made our stay absolutely fab. 💜 All the staff are accommodating and helpful. Hotel's accessible with the tube station was just about 5 mins walk away and bus station is just in front of the hotel. There's a shopping centre nearby and restaurants around. Hotel breakfast has a lot of options (continental, english, etc) as well which I love. Our room gets cleaned every day even without telling them. Would definitely checkin in this hotel again the next time we go to London. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent for us, close to a Underground station and right next to the Westfield mall as our daughter wanted to do a lot of shopping :) The hotel was really fancy and looked and felt a lot pricier then what we actually paid. The rooms where quite spacious, especially for London and we found it quite interesting to have a window that pointed INTO the hotel, so we felt sort of like we were on a cruise ship :)

When we checked in, we were given a room that had apparently not been cleaned and we had to check out of that room and into another which was a little bit of a hassle. We were given a free drink at the bar for our inconvenience but since none in our group drinks we just ordered mock tails which were less than interesting.

The check-in went well, as I came early and dropped my luggage at the desk to be gotten later once check-in was ready. The staff was always present and very attentive to any need. The room was very nice and an upgrade. The bed was very comfortable! The noise from the street below could not be heard at all, so very happy. Location was great for Hammersmith/Shepherd's Bush type things.

Very nice finishes mostly, but a few things could be looked after, like a change to the carpet (which already looks worn and old) and the bathroom tile floor, which was strangely cracked and repaired oddly.
