As long as you know in advance what you're signing up for, it's really good for people who just need an affordable well-placed location. I was also very impressed with having my own very clean and new bathroom. Just be aware that the rooms are very small and liaise with them in advance if such things as stairs are going to be an issue (not in my case for me to climb to the top floor). Also, talk with staff on check in about what to do if you mislay your access card. I was lucky to find someone when I got back late and my actual card had just slipped further into my bag. Also very handily within walking distance of Goldhawk Road Tube Station and there was a very convenient Sailsbury Local store just across the road open early and until very late.

I don't have any complaints about my stay. It was fine for somewhere to sleep while being out most of the day.

Perfect budget hotel. No frills but clean and comfortable and safe. The staff were very helpful. With the slight addition of earplugs (it is on the Shepherd's Bush Road after all) I got a very good night's sleep. Would definitely stay again. Great location too. Just a five minute walk from the tube.

Actually, not much I didn't like. It's not the Ritz Carlton but for a place to rest your head while in London for an overnight it's perfect.

Everything (I stayed in the Pearl building) Every small London hotel of this size owner should visit here to see how it should be done. Clean, comfortable, warm, constant hot water,TV with all free to air channels, small refrigerator.Located near Shepherds Bush Green & transport. Not far to walk to Hammersmith Broadway.Staff were efficient & helpful. It was so surprising to find such a great hotel in London for the price. Excellent on all fronts.

All very good.

It was a fantastic quaint little place to stay at in my trip to London. Staying in the English capital for the first time, and for 5 days no less, the Sapphire Hotel was a wonderful place to be based out of as I went all over the city for all of my meetings. Super well connected with a Metro/Tube/Underground stop less than a 10-min walk away in Shepherd's Bush. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff and upgraded free-of-charge from a single to a double room, since I was gonna be staying at the hotel for almost an entire week. That was a very nice touch from them. Even while being also a somewhat modest operation, towels were changed and cleaning was offered on the daily. The bathroom sparkled and felt like it had been recently renovated. All the different lighting settings in the room were welcomed and fun to set to different combinations. Despite it being a double, though, it was probably a little bit tight if you're booking for more than one person. But since it was just me and I was spending most of my time out and about in the city, it worked splendidly for what I needed. And the perhaps tightness of the room became a welcomed sense of coziness and comfort. With a quite comfortable bed to sleep on, a nice little nook to leave my bags in during the day, with privacy but also plenty of natural lighting thanks to its big windows, a nice little corner desk and a, especially welcomed, refrigerator in which to leave food & drinks. Also plenty of electrical outlets! This hotel gave me all that I needed. And I'm so very grateful for that. Tucked away in a pretty little London hotel as I did work on my laptop and either prepared for the day ahead, rested in the middle of it between meetings or wound down after running around for the whole day. It was precisely that, a great source of comfort, of security, of a home away from home from which to go explore the wonderful metropolis that is London.

The carpet is something that, at least in the room I stayed in, could very much use some upgrading. With a spick and span, renovated bathroom and a pretty well-maintained room otherwise, the wear and tear on the carpet was the only discordant note. Everything else was perfectly great.

A quaint little boutique hotel in a great location. The bathrooms are newly renovated and very nicely done. Located on a bus route and near two Tube stations, the area also has an abundance of cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is also near a large mall.

Ads and a sign in the lobby said there was breakfast, but they stopped serving that during COVID. They need to update ads. Because it is a converted row house, there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow. There is no soundproofing in the walls or ceilings, so you can hear other guests.

Fabulous customer service by the reception staff, free upgrade to the best room in the hotel by Aranit the reception manager. Very comfortable bed and great facilities in the room and a massive bathroom with a double shower. Very clean and perfectly decorated. Great location with buses and underground stations on the doorstep within 10 to 15 mins into Central London and shopping centers, pubs and restaurants around the area. Have stayed in the past and would come again. Breakfast is also included..

It would have been nice to have drinking glasses in the room.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Sapphire Hotel. It was comfortable and the rooms are well resourced. The availability was welcome and the price was very reasonable.

It would have been preferable if they could issue you with a key access card prior to the room being available. This should be limited to circumstances (like mine) where you might not return to the room until a long time after checking in. It would avoid disturbing staff at a very late time. In addition, the testing of the hotel's fire alarm was very unwelcome on early Sunday morning!

The Room we had was Seperate to the Hotel & in the Basement Part. The Room was a good size with an OK ensuite as it was On the Small Side but great for One Person as Two couldn't get in but it was OK & GOOD ENOUGH. Room was Quiet & had an Added Bonus of a Small Patio Area to go Outside for a Cigarette if you are a Smoker. No View but it had a Fable & Chairs so would be great for Guests in the Summer

The only downside was the Size of the ensuite especially if 2 People are in a rush to get ready & go Out but this is only a Small Issue. On Arrival though the Room had NO Toilet Rolls & even though I put in a Request to the Hotel & got a Reply back saying it "Had been done as requested" Sadly it hadn't, but it was dealt with as soon as I Called the Hotel using my Mobile Phone

The bed was very comfy and the pillow was fantastic. I slept well. If you're just looking for a cheap clean room with a private bathroom for a good night's sleep and don't much care about it's design or that it's small, it's a great option!

I booked Sapphire hotel but was accommodated in Emerald hotel which was just a few doors down the road. I am guessing the facilities are the same but it was a little strange to be put in a different hotel than actually booked. The walls in-between rooms are really thin. I could hear the guest in the other room snore at night before I fell asleep and when I woke up in the morning and also their phone vibrated for an hour at 2am and it felt like it was in my room. I stayed at the top floor and the window there was high up so I couldn't see out which made the small room feel a little claustrophobic.

I liked the addition of a fridge to the room, it meant I could store a few supplies to last me through my trip, rather than keep having to go and spend money. The location is right near a Sainsburys local so I could pop in and just get what I needed.

I was in room 60, the tiles in the bathroom floor were cracked. They were covered by a towel, but if I hadn't noticed there was a potential I could have cut my foot. I didn't. There is on step on the way up and down which is a fraction higher than the others so there is a chance you may trip if you're caught off guard. I was a bit puzzled why the guard on the fan was on the floor but I didn't need to use it so it didn't matter.
