Situated a few steps from a DLR station, in a calm street, this hotel is clean, confortable. The breakfast is good, a lot of choice. The restaurant inside the hotel is of good quality too, and it’s very convenient to be able to dine without going out.

I had a single room and it was a little cramped to my taste. In particular, the cupboard is small, there are too few shelves (4 in total, but one is occupied by the safe, another by the coffee and tea set, and the third one is extremely narrow). You have to stick your head between your hanged clothes to access the shelves, which is not very easy.

I liked receiving the free warm cookie on arrival :-) The bar and lounge was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I'd love to know the brand of sausages :-) Location was handy to get to from Deptford Bridge.

The room was a little off the main area, seemed to be located beside the rear quarters. It was quite and very clean though the rubber strip around the walk in shower needs a bit of attention. The step into the hotel even though marked by yellow danger paint still managed to trip my father up. I guess at his age these things can happen but maybe a mini ramp needs to be constructed.

The breakfast is OK, the hotel is really close to the subway station, the bar is a nice place to sit down for a beer after a long day.

I was staying in the hotel at the time of a big business event and the price of stay was ridiculously high, but it was like that in at all other hotels as well. Not a problem for me, but the bathroom is totally non-functional: - The sink is placed VERY low. - The faucet operates in a way that you have to first open the cold water fully to get the hot/warm water, and when you do that, the water splashes everywhere, with the fully open faucet. - The shower is a semi-open one. The water covers entire bathroom and the floor remains wet even in the morning after. - The bathroom is fairly big, but despite that, the toilet is cramped-up in a small space between the wall and a sink...

We really appreciate the staff at the hotel. They managed to get us early into our room, so that our child could have her nap. They always had a smile on their faces and always greeted us. They staff was also super helpful when our little one got sick! The location was much better than expected! We took the bus to Big Ben! The DLR takes you to Canary Warf and then when you get to Bank, it’s easy enough to get to everywhere else. We also enjoyed a few hours in Blackheath, which was only a 5min bus ride away. We will definitely come back here. It’s like the perfect little hidden gem for a great stay in London!

First of all the staff are terrific. Everyone from managers to lower grades was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast were simply outstanding - everything you possibly want to eat. I always judge a breakfast on the quality of its fresh fruit and here it was excellent. Very comfortable beds, interesting view from our windows. For us this is a great location, both for visiting family in south London and for accessing the city. Good parking facilities.

The aircon in the reception seemed to have been perfumed with some sort of artificial perfume. My husband has allergies so was unable to stand around in reception. Fortunately this was not in the rooms! An occasional bath would have been nice, but I realise we would have needed a larger room at a high price.

I had a single room and it was a good size for London, big bed, big bathroom, clean, comfortable, great shower. Location is good in that it's less than a 5 min walk to Deptford Bridge DLR station and very close to Greenwich and Cutty Sark. It's about 40-45 min to central London. Staff was nice and helpful.

Could use a fridge. Not necessarily a minus but it is about 1h15 away from the airport, comfortable on the DLR + Elizabeth Line, just long. A general complaint is London hotel prices are insane now so I paid a lot more than I would've liked for a single room way outside the central area.

All personnel were kind and very willing to answer our questions, such as getting to the Greenwich Observatory on foot, nearest pharmacy open after 7 PM (a Boots pharmacy was a 20-minute walk away; take note it is a very small Boots...) Facilities felt like new/recent-design, rooms very functional albeit small (we had communicating rooms, ground floor) for the basic 1 large (probably king-size) bed. These are not rooms in which to pass the day. Air conditioning in the room was fabulous! The bar area is quite nice and cozy, colorfully appointed with just the right level of music (volume); we had dinner there versus the downstairs dining room (see what we did not like, above). The service was excellent! The bar menu is very similar to the restaurant menu but with a few items less. Location of the hotel is in a quiet residential area of Greenwich, about a 20-minute walk from the Greenwich Thameslink station (25-minute ride into Kings Cross/St-Pancras International Train station/hub).

Besides the smallness of the rooms we stayed in being a small negative (there may be bigger rooms), the restaurant has a problem. Accessible via a winding staircase down from the bar, it has something that needs fixing BIG time: the lighting/atmosphere. Not only is there a basement feel to the space but the very white, dull, lighting in a white-wall decor makes for a most uninviting room with your most basic instincts immediately telling your brain 'uh, no -- back up to the bar with its warm tungsten lighting!' An older couple (70s) had the same inclination to walk back up and order drinks & dinner in the bar. The poor soul/sole waiter in the restaurant must've been wondering why, once nicely greeted by him, we about-faced up to the bar...

We booked dinner and breakfast, and both were very good. We had the included menu for dinner, and the food was tasty, more than enough, and well presented. The breakfast, especially the full English, was of a very good standard, the bacon in particular being much better than that I’ve experienced in similar hotels. The location is within a 20 minute walk of the Cutty Sark and the Greenwich Naval College, and a 15 minute taxi ride from the O2, costing under £20. There is a small, shaded park full of trees and benches just outside the entrance to the hotel. The staff, I found were friendly and helpful throughout. We particularly liked the secure parking, and though £20 might seem hefty to rural people like us, in the context of London, it was very good value. Finally, the tradition of giving guests a warm chocolate cookie at check in - thumbs up from us! Delicious.

Minor niggle - a quicker response to the button to open the parking gates would help.

I had booked King's suite for coronation weekend. Communication was excellent and the hotel staff called me prior to checking in to check my child's age again to ensure all set comfortably. Excellent building, beautiful if a bit ott decor with colour burst, lovely comfy rooms and bathrooms. Excellent breakfast except day one fried eggs seemed not very fresh and rather mass produced. Second day, problem sorted. The hotel is situated in a quiet cul de sac so no noise really although one night quite unruly guests staying at the hotel next doors caused irritable noise, I reported and they were quitened swiftly. FAI at reception , Abi/Avi serving upon us downstairs at breakfast , Ann and the breakfast check in guy all an asset to the hotel. They couldn't do enough and kept asking if we needed anything, plus they had a smile all the time. Makes such a difference.

I noticed one of the gentlemen at reception simply lacked a social smile. Given how everyone else had such an excellent smiling manner and a polite social etiquette, this one person stood out not as a good ambassador to the rest of the wonderful team. Perhaps a constant reminder to all esp front line Staff to be polite, smiling to their guests

Lovely room, big and comfortable. Very clean. Professional front of house staff. Breakfast was very good and decently made. Location was easy to get to.

Nothing that made a big impact on my experience. I did notice that a bottle of scent I used might have been used by a housekeeping staff (the lid was on the wrong way round), which I do not appreciate. Unfortunately, I drew the short straw and had a room facing the car park and yard but this is is a minor thing as this was a working trip rather than a holiday.
