Excellente situation a Paddington et près de Hyde Park

Great location a very short walk from Paddington station, wifi worked awesome, staff were welcoming and friendly, check-in and check-out were quick and easy, we stayed in room 2 on the ground floor and the beds were comfy. Housekeeping came and made the bed, emptied the garbage, provided fresh towels, etc. everyday. 24 hour reception.

Bathroom is very small with no ventilation, however all the bathrooms in central London will be this way at this price so wasn’t a concern for us

The hotel had everything I needed for a couple of nights in London. Very good location for the price. The room was cosy and quiet for central London. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a moderate price and good location, who does not need a lot of services at the hotel but rather enjoys eating out and seeing the city.

I liked everything, but for someone else it might be worth noting, that the staircase to the upper floors is quite steep and narrow. Would ask for a room in lower floors, if there were any limitations with moving around. This is probably the same in many smaller London hotels.

This time i staid here i had a different room. The room and bathroom was very clean. I had a single bed, with a nice quality duvet. The heating was vey good , it was not already on for me when i went into my room. All the staff were very friendly. The location is very good it about 5 minuets walk from Paddington train station. I was facing onto Sussex Gardens main road and there was hardly any noise from the road. Nice hot running water, the shower was very good. Nice quality toilet paper (some places by cheap ones).

This time nothing. No issues.

I highly recommend this hotel for travellers. The hotel is a short 3-4 minute walk from Paddington station and a 10 minute walk to Hyde park. I only used the tube on a few occasions in the evening but in the daylight I walked to Buckingham palace, London eye etc. The maps does state it is 45 minute - 1 hour walk to most huge landmarks and attractions however it definitely feels shorter given it is a very scenic walk including hyde park and Oxford street. The employees at the hotel were lovely and very welcoming. Easy, quick check in and lots of free information leaflets on offer. The hotel is easy to access at all hours with the main door being open or just simply scan your key card in the late hours. This gave an added reassurance of safety to myself as a young, female solo traveller. I stayed in a single room which was average but suitable in size for 1 person. Room included a street view balcony which I thoroughly enjoyed. Room was well equipped with a large fan, hot drinks station, extra pillows, plenty of mirrors and a hair dryer. The bedding was a hotel sheet but also included a cosy quilt which personally I liked. The bathroom and bedroom was clean.

The only negative I would say about the room is, the walls are very thin… out with staff’s control in which I fully understand however I unfortunately had very loud neighbours at nighttime and throughout early hours of the morning.

It's cheap, and it's no luxury, but it's OK for a few nights. It's clean, you get a bed, a bathroom with shower - and even a fridge! And even if you can hear other guests come and leave their room, it relatively quiet. And the location is just perfect. No breakfast is no problem, you've got plenty of breakfast bars just outside the hotel. The tube and Paddington station is also quite close. I might be back.

Just a drizzle from the shower and tap, but I managed. And third floor... I was travelling light, but for those with big suitcases it's tough. And impossible for the disabled, but I guess they would not stay here. I will not even mention british beds and beddings - they are just terrible.

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Short walk to the Underground, pubs, shops etc. Very close to Mayfair and Oxford Street etc. Comfy bed! You don't get much in London for the $$ spent, but the hotel did a very good job considering it's only a 2 star hotel.

The bathroom flooded each time we showered which was quite annoying and uncomfortable. Room was cold but a heater was provided. It's a fab old building so this kind of thing is expected, but the shower def needs some drainage installed!

Great location, just a 5-minute walk from Paddington underground and train station. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries and small shops in the surrounding area. Clean room, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Excellent hotel staff, very polite, friendly and welcoming.

Very small room/toilet but that's something one would expect from a small hotel in an old English house. Still, wouldn't mind staying here again.

The location is fantastic. A 10 minute walk to Lancaster Gate or Paddington Stations. Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens 15 minute walk. 30 minute walk from the main shopping streets if you prefer not to use the trains. Restaurants, Bars and shops all within walking distance. The staff were also so so lovely and we sadly got none of their names, from the gentleman who checked us in, to the housekeeper, everyone was so warm and friendly. We had an issue with the electrics in our room the next morning after checking in and it was sorted by the time we got back that evening.

The only issue was the bathroom. We had 5 people in our room with a seriously small bathroom and a wonky door. The shower was also very temperamental, would boil you alive one minute or freeze you to death the next.

The location is amazing. Walking distance from Paddington station, with Oxford St and Hyde Park and pretty much all of West End on your doorstep. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

It was clean and my ensuite bathroom was recently renovated and very nice. Some of the communal areas are a bit tired and musty, my sheets had some small holes in them, but this property is priced accordingly. Just don’t expect luxury, you will however get a perfectly comfortable, perfectly located and well run hotel.
