Home House is truly a hidden gem in one of London's best areas. Not only was the room itself amazing but the drawing rooms, restaurant, and bison bar were great spots to relax and unwind outside of the room. It was also really easy to walk anywhere in the city from here whether we wanted to stroll in Hyde Park or walk to Buckingham, Westminster, and the river.

For the price I expected slippers and robes to comfortably lounge in the room. There also wasn't a turndown service unless requested. The lift was also broken for part of the stay which meant we had to climb up 5 flights of stairs.

Superb location, wonderful welcome and very much made to feel at home. As a members club, these places can sometimes feel a bit stuffy or too cool, this place nails it, just the right amount of polish and top level service without making you feel uncomfortable. The room was in a classical style, large with a desk, sitting area, big bed and two large windows looking over Portman square. The club itself is quite busy with late bar, dj, etc but it is far from the rooms with zero noise travelling. Definitely will come back. Arrival glass of champagne was a nice touch too.

It was a little tricky to find at first without Ann signage but IYKYK type feel, which is fine with me.

I was pleasantly surprised when a member of the private club stumbled into my room and kept me entertained till early hours in the morning, showcasing her many talents. Oh and the bed was mighty comfortable.

It took me another two days to recover from that one night. I was truly exhausted.

The excellent management and staff, who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful; the historically important and beautifully restored Adam public rooms; and the pleasure of being made to feel like a guest in an individually decorated bedchamber of a private old London townhouse.

Only a few minor quibbles: the en suite bathroom fixtures have been ingeniously retro-fitted into the room, but it was a bit awkward to clamber in and out of the bathtub; the electrical outlets were few and inconvenient to accommodate the need to recharge all the electronic gear one carries nowadays, though the staff kindly supplied an extension cord upon request; and the writing table in the room wasn’t high enough to use comfortably, though it was more pleasant to sit in the public areas, anyway. Again, minor—and more than made up for by the many positive aspects of the house.

Home House is an amazing hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very authentic. With real antiques and proper traditional luxury beds and furniture (ie: not the usual made for hotel furnishings). It is also a private members' club, and therefore there is a unique Club feel to the bars and restaurants. The standards are very high and the food and drink menu are excellent. Although not cheap, I know, from experience, our suite, given its size and standard, would have been 3 or 4 times the price in one of the other 5-star London establishments. So , very good value for money, in my opinion.

The concierge that met us upon arrival was exceptionally helpful. Friendly, strong enough to help with big suitcases needing to go up flights of stairs, and with brochures to give me to help me appreciate the historically unique place that this is. The location is great. Lucky that we could get great food at the garden, including beer on tap, without having a reservation that evening that we arrived late to London. Such elegance.

nothing I didn't like.

It felt like a true English experience in the heart of the city. You have Oxford street two blocks away but the noise and life of that area contrasts with the tranquility of its sorroundings, as it faces a private little park. It really is a place to rest and have a drink at the bar

It’s not that big, the rooms were just fine but you can’t really have much privacy in the common spaces, although nobody really cares. Other than that, nothing else

Very classy, old school members club experience - more like staying at someone’s v large home. Very dog friendly - they are welcomed everywhere, but stay on a leash and don’t jump on the couch.

Staff are great - but they are creating a members club experience- not running a hotel - so there is a relaxed informality and a sense of helping the members enjoy the space, rather than creating the more formal hotel experience. So you have to go with the flow a bit more than at a similarly priced hotel.

Lovely welcome at reception. Such a warm and cosy hotel. Very English! Beautiful decor. Really helpful and friendly staff. Gorgeous, spacious room. Huge bathroom. Loved the welcome drink, a really nice touch. Huge and comfortable bed. Great mini bar. Gorgeous robes. So quiet despite being central. In a lovely safe area. Delicious breakfast and coffee in the beautiful drawing room. Staff everywhere 10/10. Speedy room service. Easy to control room temperature. Cannot fault this place. We loved it!

A few more plug sockets near the bed would be great.

I grew up a couple of miles from here so the hotel is ideally located in a lovely area of Portman Square/Marylebone and is a 6 minute walk from Marble Arch station which made it easy for my friends to meet me. There are many good restaurants & pubs that are within walking distance. The hotel staff were all professional and what stood out most was their genuine liking for one another which made the hotel atmosphere very pleasant. I was also presented with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a bowl of fruit when I checked into my room which made my introduction to the waiting of my room worth it.

Unfortunately I found out on my first morning of my stay that breakfast was not included which was my fault for not following up when I checked in. However, the room lacked any coffee or tea facilities which was most unusual. The front desk provided me with complimentary coffee through room service. I also read that my room was haunted (The Lady Charlotte Room) the morning I was checking out confirming my reason for not sleeping well for two nights, lol. This probably should have been information passed onto me so an alternative room could have been offered.
