It is a student accommodation only open to tourists during academic vacations, so don't expect a hotel-like experience. But still, a worth recommended place to stay if you are traveling. The room is bit small but clean and tidy. The location is excellent, as you can reach many decent restaurants and tourists attractions by foot. The public space in the ground floor is fantastic. Furthermore, the property have a self-service laundry room with several washing machine and dryer which is great if you sick of overpriced laundry services in some hotel. The breakfast is the best aspects of this property. It is definitely exceptional with its varieties and tastes. Definitely recommend. Overall, absolutely worth the price and would surely booked again.

There is only two unisex shared bathroom, and one shower room in each floor and it is a bit inconvenient as you need to have your roomkey with you every time you want to go to the toilet or take a shower.

The room was spotless, temperature was kept comfortable and the trip down the hall to the loo and showers was not a burden--reminded me of staying in modest hotels near Russell Square, five decades ago! And there was plenty of hot water--good work. Breakfast was a noisy treat; I enjoyed sharing tables with the visiting students and diverse tourists. The restaurant serving staff were friendly and the food was well prepared--it was a distinct improvement over the breakfasts I remember from my own student days (in Edinburgh, not London, mind you...). Would probably give the vegetarian "sausages" (more like rissoles) a pass in future, but my wife and daughter loved them. Superb location., very convenient for the British Library, Oxford Street and Regent's Park. The Fitzrovia neighborhood is blue-plaque-spotters' heaven! And having what I remember calling the Post Office Tower literally across the road provided a convenient orienteering landmark. The staff on the front desk were helpful and welcoming and displayed a sense of humor. I wish that a couple of them worked for me!

My only "sigh" is reserved for the mattress in our room; my seventy-something lower back did not match the bed's contours. This is a minor caveat, since at my age, few mattresses are quite what my back would like them to be. Bedtime ibuprofen is the rule.

Good breakfast with vegan options and a nice view. Room was a nostalgic dorm room. Bonus for your own washing basin, even if it didn't come with drinkable water. The location was very good, easy to reach by foot from King's Cross, Euston Square, Piccadilly Circus etc. Manned entrance with a 24/7 Tesco express nearby. Essentials provided. The BT(?) tower served as a great landmark.

You had to walk a bit for drinking water. A provided map would have been nice for easy access to showers etc. Notice that the shower stalls are small so anything you have with you (phones, clothes etc.) will likely get a little damp while showering, although this may vary depending on the stall.

Buffet breakfast was great and this was included in the room rate! The price of food in London is extremely high so "free" breakfast is highly appreciated. But standard of service of the staff was very different. we stayed for four nights and every morning we can either order say four fried eggs or limited to two only... anyway food choices though limited but good enough. Free flow of coffee (from machine with different choices... espresso, americano, flat white, etc) and fruit were great as well. Toilets and bathrooms were shared... all clean and tidy. Location was great! Walking distance to SOHO and China Town. Very close to Regent's Park for morning runs.

The luggage storage was a bit unsecured since there was no one checking if you were the owner of the luggages when you took them out from the storage room... self-serviced.

We stayed in a standard room which was ok but not for someone who prefers enough space for spending more time in the room. However, there was enough space for storage of a piece of larger luggage underneath the beds, a decent wardrobe for two people, and numerous shelves. The wash-basin in the room was a plus. For someone who wants to use the room for evenings and good night sleep and for shorter stayse, the standard room is ok. It is possible to pay extra for a more spacious room which looked comfy enough. Choice of warm and cold breakfast was perfect and location close to the city too.

At first, a surprise was the shared bathrooms for us that were joined for both men and women and there was only one facility for the whole floor. Luckily there were not so many people accommodated on our floor and men were in the minority. Otherwise, it is good to count on it when planning what to wear e. g. when leaving the shower, and also plan how to avoid busy times in the bathroom. However, the hygiene was very good and the bathroom was cleaned perfectly by the staff every day. As I said, we were lucky a bit that not so many people stayed on our floor that week.

Great location 5-10 mins to the tube and close to Soho and within walking distance of Camden if you walk through Regent's Park. Loved the breakfast included, a great spread and hot breakfast if you want it. Also great to have kitchen facilities we could use.

Rooms were a little small, only just enough space for two beds, a small wardrobe and sink. But storage above one of the beds and below both so worked out fine. We were also a little hot (even though we were staying there in autumn) so had to sleep with the window open.

Value, location, friendly staff, I could leave my luggage after check out which was great as I could use my last day in London unhampered. At night it was quiet. I like that you have 24 hour access. The breakfast was included and was very good.

Not a lot to not like. The breakfast was great though I did find the bacon hard. I appreciated leaving my luggage on the last day but I didn’t think there was enough security. I felt like anyone could have walked out with my goods.

A friendly and efficient check-in when we finally arrived very late. And helpful staff in the restaurant for the excellent breakfast. Wifi was fine. Basic room and shared facilities but you get what you pay for and it was fine for a night.

The room was clean but with a very strong chemical smell, presumably from cleaning materials - we had to open the window on a cold December night to manage. Please don't use such strong chemicals, or air the room if they have to be used.

This is not my first time at this residence hall. And this is a sign that I really like it here. Some things change over time, some for better, some for worse. But I strongly believe that this is a good option for London. The breakfast is just amazing, there are options for everyone's taste. The location is perfect, we didn't even have to use public transport too often to go to most places of interest.

This time, there were much more people than in previous years I visited. But I guess I was just lucky before. My door was just in front of the toilet, the door of which must be held gently, otherwise it bangs loudly so many times, especially in the late hours or early in the morning. As for shower - many people already wrote about difficulties with hanging towels and clothes. This is true, the only way was to use one of the showers with a glass door with a separate place for things. If it was not occupied, I always preferred to use it.

Location is perfect, with good dining options nearby. Room is perfect to work and study: good desk, good lighting (something you never can take for granted in conventional hotels). Cleanliness overall good, also in the shared areas (showers, bathrooms). Breakfast is also good and, weather permitting, there is a roof terrace where you can have your breakfast, which is really nice. I would definitely come here again. Always I stayed at a LSE accommodation, experience was good.

Mattress was a bit old, it needed a change. Moreover, be aware that store lugagge (if you arrive earlier than checkin time) is at your own risk, in a shared room, without any surveillance. I think this system would need some better management.
