We had a wonderful stay. The room, shower and facilities (like the pool) were perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only one thing we really didn’t like: When we received the bill at the end of our stay, we noticed a higher amount per night than the amount on our Booking information. When I mentioned this, they said they included a 5% service charge. I told them I wanted to pay the amount as agreed upon, so they changed the amount per night back to what it was. We know that more hotels and restaurants in London add a service charge. This was however the first time it wasn’t even stated on the bill as an extra, they just added it to the amount per night, so the only way to notice, is if you know exactly what you’re supposed to pay. We felt a bit deceived…

Hotel is located in a very convenient location near public transport, and stores as well. The customer service is also excellent, and hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only thing to note is that there may be heavy traffic to travel in/out of hotel during the peak hour if main mode of travel is via taxi/car. But this is very normal everywhere in London anyway.

Food was good that we ordered in room service. Generally very quiet, with exceptions of noise, screams outside the room and outside the building, but that cannot be helped so much. The help were courteous. Liked that the room was cool enough at night, the small amenities, e.g. toothbrush and paste, comb, etc.

Breakfast was not included in an already pricey room. The movies were to be rented, leaving the poorer selections in the TV channels. There was no socket for the hairdryer inside the bathroom, which is a common phenomenon in UK and European bathrooms. Looked like a flick of human matter/or other organic matter on the wall by the mirror in the bedroom. Room service did not answer for a while, perhaps 30 mins, and we called about 8 times. Those leather chairs in the Orchid lounge look nice, but are not comfortable. Are insect decors really an Asian thing?

It was exceptional - the service was absolutely 5 Star - we felt like we were the only guests in the hotel! We picked this place for our wedding night and honestly, it was one of the nicest hotels we've ever been to! The room was stunning, they upgraded us (what a treat!) and the views were insane. They had Diptique toiletries so gives you an idea of the level to expect from the place. We loved enjoying the pool and sauna/steam in the morning and enjoyed making use of the cocktail bar and Straits bar too. The hotel has pretty much everything you need and I wish we could have stayed for longer! The butler remembered our names when we were leaving - just little touches where nothing was too small or too much for the team. The service was impeccable! All of the staff were so welcoming and accommodating and made our wedding night even more special! LOVE and will definitely be back if/when we can!!

Only comment would be is the breakfast feels overpriced at £35 each - essentially £80 including service for breakfast for 2 seems steep but it is a 5 star hotel in Central London so perhaps it is competitive.

Beautiful hotel in a top location. It is 3 min walk to Liverpool St station, walking distance to many places of interest and restaurants. Got my room ready by 10:00 and a free late check-out at 13:00 which was excellent for my long trips. They also have much faster laundry service timing for ironing, which is very important if you travel with shirt and want them look good.

I tried to arrange twin beds instead of a kingsize double bed as my friend joined me on one of the nights. The staff was communicating extremely slow via Booking.com (like 1 email per 1 working day) and even though initially there were upgrade options that I could take, they ran out because it took them like 3 days to exchange 3 emails.

fantastic breakfast although im a little disappointing that you have to pay for extra breakfast from a menu when you have already payed for it. either make it part of the offer or take it off. to have breakfast included, then a price if you haven't asked for breakfast included but then another price if you have is penny pinching and confusing.

the staff are great but I'm really disappointed with the reception team. I stay at pan pacific quite regularly. on my two day visit I missed breakfast one morning. I asked if it could be moved to my next booking on the 24th march, which was only a week away. I was told no because I booked through bookings.com. again it's just really annoying and penny pinching. why should I be penalised for booking through a platform the hotel chose to be part of?

Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is great, super modern, clean and confortable, quiet and unpretentious. Let me address upfront the few negatives of this stay: - The pool water was not perfectly clean and there was also some dirt on the surrounded floor. I don't mind the children classes in the restricted schedule since the reception staff kindly informed us soo. Nevertheless the pool didn't felt cleaned for a hotel of this class. It should be a open shower directly near the pool and the staff should inform people to take a shower before entering the pool (no one did). - The recpetion lobby feels somewhat small and mainly executive style.. they could have done so much more here.. maybe more suitable for the residences entrance than the proper hotel. - Didn't like the reception desk so close to the near guest... it felt wrong. They should be more separated instead of the huge fake plants crowding the reception desks... the complimentary small cake was not good also. Overall not a good check in and first impression. - The extra charge prices at breakfast. For the price tag at least toast and different eggs styles should be included. The remaining aspects of this stay were very good indeed. I really appreciated: - The huge bathroom. Modern, beautiful and functional. Clean aesthethic and amazing Diptyque bath products! Very nice indeed. I wish there was a bathtub though. In the first day a slight sewer smell appeared after using the shower but didn't felt any other time. - The size, design and confort of the room. Nice appointed mechanical curtains, very unique design, great furniture materials and perfect condition. Didn't like the carpet as some fibers come out easily. Bed really good indeed. Overall a very pleasant room. - Room cleaning was very good. - The hotel location was a big plus. - The hotel was quiet and relaxed at all times. So would I return there? Definitely!

Rooms super nice, great view, special requests accomodated too, lovely 5* staff across the hotel who were always very attentive, chatty and making your stay better... Nice gym & fully equipped to do like 95% of excercises, only thing on the videos on the website there is a video of a punch bag with gloves, but it's not there...(not a huge deal for 99.9% of the clientele I imagine but still a valid point.) Amazing swimming pool with nice view of Liverpool Street, good to relax. Location is great, 2 min walk to Liverpool Street. Staff in Lily bar were really amazing and really took care of the cocktails they made. They make you want to come back every night to enjoy the vibe. Specifically, one night I had a cacao based old fashioned and it was A**** , highly reccomended, I wish I had the recipe to make back home! So please staff if you read this review, can you obtain the recipe for me :)) The service from the Ukrainian lady, the other ladies and Italian guy there was super too!! 5* Didn't have breakfast there, at 35GBP per breakfast, not worth it imo. Should revise pricing of Breakfast based on local proximity of other restaurants serving breakfast at a cheaper rate. Will be back when back in LDN - but not for the breakfast :) Thanks again Pan Pacific.

Beds were super comfy, the breakfast really fresh and tasty, service excellent. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more. Great location and just a short stroll across the road to Liverpool Street Station. All staff really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would also like to mention housekeeping. Our room was immaculate, room cleaned each morning and I mean cleaned thoroughly not just empty bins. Turndown service in the evening was such a treat and much appreciated, everything was refreshed again. Will definitely be staying again.

Flawless room, excellent view, spectacular pool and the perfect location for all of London. Shangri-la at the Shard used to be a favourite hotel of this standard in London, it's not a patch on Pan Pacific. As a new hotel it still has a freshly finished feel about it. Staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Shout out to Alex who show us to our room and also the in-room dining folks and reception team who are aged delivery of a pre-ordered lunch to our room precisely on-time just minutes after our arrival. Dinner at Straits kitchen was superb. The deserts were another level of awesome. Service was outstanding and cocktails particularly good. The spa area and pool is a major selling point. With rain (pretty common in London) over the weekend we stayed, it was the perfect place to go instead of braving the weather. Location could not be better. Views of many famous skyscrapers from your window.

To be ultra picky, breakfast could be better. Milk for cereal needs to be kept in a cool container (nobody wants room temp milk on their cornflakes). Service was a little fussy... I can live with a wrapper from the cube of sugar I just put in my coffee sitting on the table for a few minutes. That's it though. Told you it was ultra picky.
