This hotel is all about location. It's perfectly located for the City, in a quiet spot, just yards away from "busy". It's an unassuming building, but a perfect bolt-hole for anyone with meetings or events in the City.

I really enjoyed staying at this small hotel. I was staying alone while visiting relatives. This hotel is ideal for the lone traveller and is in a great location for onward travel from London or London itself. It is walking distance from Liverpool Street main station and Underground and the Bank Underground Station. Check in and out is very quick and efficient. The room was small but clean, warm and I wasn't disturbed by outside noise. If you are looking for facilities such as breakfast or a bar this is not the place for you. Quite an easy hotel to find. I received an online check-in before I arrived but the link did not work although the check-in at the desk via an ipad type screen was very quick. Why they needed my date of birth I don't know but I didn't feel it was an intrusion. The bathroom was small but clean and practical. Muffins were in the fridge in the cupboard which was a nice touch. Excellent amount of tea and coffee facilities in the room. Wi-fi worked ok for light browsing. I will definitely be back and if I bring my wife that might be a different review but for or me on my own it was excellent.

The online check-in link before I arrived did not work although I received two emails asking me to check in.

As a returning guest - i loved the place when I discovered it and always look to see if it is free if i am going to London. A short walk from Liverpool St or Tower Hill and in the heart of the city right next to The Gherkin. It is a gem in the middle of all the high rise buildings of the city near St Mary Axe church. Great wifi, had the best sleep in the bed - so comfortable, bathroom fresh and modern, spotlessly clean and even though they don't serve food they give you tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and cupcakes for each person in the fridge. if you want food you can call Uber Eats but just over the road is M&S food hall and you can keep it your food in the fridge until you need it. Also they give you a bottle of water each. I haven't been here for a while but it was great to return and see the quality and rooms is still at a high standard and everything was just as I remembered it. I will be back again for sure. Great for overnight or long weekends stays

Really tough but just so I there is some balance - some people may find the rooms a little small - with the bed there is not a lot of room before the bathroom wall. Maybe an extra bin in the room as the only bin was by the toilet. The windows have sound proofing but you do hear some residual noise from building construction but that stops by late afternoon However, saying this I am being picky .... from comfort, cleanliness, location and set up - they have done a great job creating such modern, fresh rooms in a historic building. Not much room in the wardrobe if on a long stay nor drawers, except small ones in the bedside tables - but this has obviously been done to keep it less cluttered

The location was great and the staff was very welcoming. Really close to Liverpool Street if you are coming or going to the airport. The room was very clean and functional though pretty small. There is a compartment under the bed where you can put you luggage out of the way. The bathroom was also very clean and updated.

It would be even better if the room had some hangers in the walls for the jackets or clothes/ towels both in the bathroom or in the room. There are hangers in the wardrobe but there is not enough space for a jacket.

Location for me was excellent as I was working in this area of the city. The room is small but cozy and everything you need is nearby. Handy to Liverpool street station and next to the iconic Gherkin. Perfect for a business trip. This was a repeat visit for me.

Nothing really was bad. No gym if that is what you want nor is there a view. If you are a tourist maybe there are better locations closer to points of interest. No breakfast but 2 mins walk to your nearest Pret.

Super Location, nice and comfy room. Awesome shower! Quiet during the night, can recommend and will definitely come again!

For two people room probably quite small but location and comfort equals that! Perfect for single traveler!

Staff friendly. Quiet. Nice facade outside. Close to where we wanted to be. Bathroom ok

The room was tiny as was the bathroom. Difficult to dress or move around. Hanging space too short to hang even a short dress.

Excellent location and facilities. It is very small but perfect for a one person stay. The price for London is quite competitive and with higher value for money. The staff was also very nice.

The only thing that was really bad was the heating system. The room was at 26 degrees plus Celsius all the time, same with the corridors. The only way to lower the temperature was with some sort of air conditioning. As I turned it off while sleeping, back to the 26 degrees plus after a little while. I asked the staff to see if possible to manage it, they really tried but it was not possible. It is unacceptable to run the hotel with such a waste of resources considering climate change.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfectly situated for travel around London! Easy walking distance to a primary Tube station.

The single room is the expected small London accommodation (think cruise ship) but everyone should be out and about most of the day! The comfort of the bed and the muffins made up for the small room!

This was my third stay within the year. The location, not ten minutes from Liverpool St station, suits me perfectly, and the very modern comfort and simplicity, along with a wonderful power shower, are all I require. As on my first visit, I found hanging space for clothes rather tight, but there was plenty of room under the very high bed for my case, which acted as a drawer. On the other hand, there was lots of room in the bathroom to lay out my toothbrush, cosmetics etc, which is not always the case even in larger and more elaborate establishments. The fold-down desk and tuck-away chair are ingenious! The chair can also act as a ladder to get into the high bed, though I didn't need it myself. The staff are all pleasant and courteous. Check-in and check-out were smooth and swift. I expect to be in London a lot for family reasons within the next few months, and this will always be my first choice.

The handbasin in the bathroom is tiny. It's very difficult to splash your face in it; and although the shower is wonderful, sometimes you just want to wash your face. It would be good to have a glass or cup of some kind in the bathroom. I had to use my teacup to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth.
