Staff was amazing. Despite arriving early (about 2hrs), staff were able to find an empty room on the spot without any waiting. Unfortunately, due to having two diff rooms (one twin and one queen) it wasn't possible to be on a same floor as there were no empty and ready rooms that would fit our reservation on the same floor. We were offered an upgrade to king room, which we agreed on and were located close together. Breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located right next to a bus stop and block away from subway station.

A/C thermostat was not great. It took waay too much time to trigger the A/C when temp raised. This resulted in 20C being too cold in the morning since the A/C would run almost constantly, 21C would result in being pretty cold and then too warm for up to an hour before the thermostat actually triggered cooling.

I didn't like the decor in the hall (third floor). All very young people who were all a bit strange. Message appears to be if you are not a 20 something you are not welcome. Older people and non weirdos need not apply. Overall a decent hotel at a relatively good value but the hall decor was off putting

Location, really comfortable beds - perfectly adequate for a long weekend! We’ve stayed with you before

I couldn’t get a coffee on Saturday evening when we came back to the hotel. I wasn’t offered a tea instead. When the waiter can back I asked if tea was an option - which it was . But the tea that came was incredibly strong. I asked for some hot water so I could make it the strength I wanted. But the waiter took away the tea and added hot water to the tea pot! Since there appeared to be an entire packet of loose tea in the pot - a little extra water made no difference to the strength of the brew.

I've stayed in the Reykjavik Canopy Hotel previously and I was interested to see if it lived up to my expectations. The hotel is huge but it doesn't feel too overwhelming or busy. Our room size was fantastic and the space was used so wisely - I loved the little coffee/tea station, wardrobe and how each room had an ironing board and iron! The breakfast was great and offered a variety of made-to-order choices, plus your usual hot, cold, sweet and savoury options. We went up to the rooftop bar but didn't order a drink as we ended up going into the lobby instead. The waiter in the lobby's bar was brilliant and super cheerful - he made us feel really welcome. The rooms were also spotless and felt so fresh when we returned after a busy day out in the city. The location is fantastic as it's positioned between Tower Bridge (10 mins walk), Liverpool Street ( for the Elizabeth Line - 20 mins) and Algate Station (3 mins) - so there's plenty of opportunities for getting around the city on different lines, plus it's located near to the Sky Gardens, Tower of London and White Chapel. After years of searching for a comfortable, welcoming, affordable and central hotel in London - I've found it and I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

The only thing I would have liked to have experienced was a room with more of a city view which I did request on my booking notes, however we were facing the building site. While this wasn't much of an issue considering we were out for most of the day, it would have been nice if this was acted upon given the request in advance.

This hotel is new and really nicely designed. The staff were always helpful and pleasant.  It is a two minute walk from Aldgate Tube station and 10 minutes to Liverpool Street. One of the nicest markets, Spitalfields is very close. We had a few problems with our original rooms because of the public holiday, they could not fix these problems although they did upgrade our rooms and change us to rooms that were fully functioning.

There is nothing I can complain about

Very new hotel so very clean and fancy. Great location. Walking distance to Tower of London where we picked up the hop on hop off tour buses. Also very close to Aldgate tube station with easy access to tourist sites. Grocery and restaurants right outside. They even let us check in a few hours early. of the We expected two twin size beds but got 2 full size/double size beds. Very relaxing.

Beautifully designed and contemporary decor. Swift check-in. Welcoming staff. We had a room on a high floor which a good view which is always a bonus. Room was larger than standard twin rooms, dressing gown and slippers are always the cherry on the cake. Room was quiet, air con worked well, plenty of towels and toiletries and lots of lighting. Roof top bar was great for a few cheeky cocktails. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

The walk back from the tube at night is a little rough around the edges. It's only a short walk however would recommend to keep an eye on your valuables. This wouldn't put me off from staying again as it's great value.

Friendly reception stuff. Room cleaning done on last day was exceptionally good. Close to train and bus stations. New hotel.

No fried egs on the breakfast, thought everything else was good quolity. Room housekeeping done on the weekend was poor. Mattresses poor quolity, all bed shakes as one person moves.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and super well located. the breakfast is delicious.

The front desk people and the host at the rooftop. They were arrogant and not welcoming at all. We would leave the hotel in the morning and come on the afternoon and say hi and they would look at us top to bottom and ignore us. They also made several comments implying that we didn’t have the money to stay there. But wait… we did stay there, and we did pay for our things. Didn’t we?

Very modern, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly reception staff. Good hotel quality overall as you would expect for Hilton. Very convenient location. Nice little things like complimentary biscuits and good tea, coffee with creamer, toiletries etc made a difference. Roof top terrace not open yet when we visited.

Beds were too soft for our liking. For the first night our aircon didn’t work (was stuck on fan mode - check as soon as you arrive the aircon works or you may have a restless night in summer like we did) however staff (Tim) was friendly and accomodating and we moved to a different (better) room after the first night and the aircon was great.
