Some nice staff, clean, good facilities, great location.

One of the staff ...sitting facing me on right (his left) was very rude to me. On my arrival another man was checking me in...very nice, when this rude man n,ot checking me in asked my age and said I am too old and pointed to a sign saying noone over 45. I told him I was not told this, he started talking about me buying £107 private room, i cannot afford that per night, he said he would honour my booking this time...i saw quite a few about my age staying?? This upset me..made me feel awful.

staff very friendly and the kitchen had everything except a freezer. The toilets were cleaned and the shower is great. the location is fabulous, there are plenty restaurants, supermarkets and the underground about 3min walk

they charge for Bag to store.. even that we had 1 locker we had to pay for each bag that we had to storage.

Polite and informative stuff. Room tiny but just right. Clean toilet and a shower in the room. Big plus is proximity to London City. Excellent/free of charge breakfast if you upload comments and photos on Instagram. Excellent stay. I will be back.

The hostel is located in a historic part of London, close to the British Museum, tube, store and many restaurants. The hostel is in a historical building and has a good historical atmosphere. The staff are good guys, but special thanks to the administrator Diler, who helped me to change after 2 - x nights room number 110 in which the beds were uncomfortably located and the room itself was very small, to room number 308, where everything was in its place. My advice to the manager of the hostel make everything normal as in room number 308, I mean the arrangement of beds 2 floors, not 3 floors as in room number 110.

The location was very good. Close to the Underground station. The price was quite okay for the quality of the room. I was in the 6 people room with a bathroom ensuite. The blinds on the beds very quite okay and gave you privacy.

The ensuite bathroom in the 6 people room was incredibly smalllll. I am 6 feet tall (around 180 cm) and the bed was exactly...the same size :|. The bed is around 6 feet. The lower bunk does not have rails on he side. You can not choose your bunk.

The hostel is located very close to Russell Square metro station and the commercial area, meaning there's no shortage of shops and restaurants! Overall, the hostel is comfortable! For the price it is, it’s worth it. A reminder for future visitors: bring a lock with you. The rooms have drawers to store your luggage, but if you don't bring a padlock, you'll need to buy one at the reception. 😁

Although the hostel has many positives, I'd like to mention some negatives: the shower water temperature isn't adjustable; the bathrooms could be better cleaned, including the showers; and finally, the mattresses on the beds already have marks, so they weren't very comfortable to sleep on. I believe these are the only downsides of the hostel for me.

Great location, very close to Russell Sq tube station and a Tesco local supermarket. The Hop-on-hop-off-bus had a stop at the end of the street. Typical backpackers decor and facilities. Rooms are small, and private ensuite in the 4 bed room was absolutely tiny, but did the job and the shower was hot and strong. Room was warm and clean, and surprisingly quiet. Earplugs are provided for free from reception. Communal kitchen well equipped, and tables to eat at.

3 flights of stairs lugging a suitcase is not easy! The kitchen strangely closed between 7pm and 7.30pm, right when we were trying to cook dinner for our kids. The beds were short, OK for me (170cm) and the kids, but my 185cm tall hubby was a little squashed. There was a good looking breakfast available each morning (I think it was 7 pound?) but we just did our own.

It is within walking distance like 3-4 mins. I like the location of this hostel. It is really great , near to underground Russel Square (3-4 mins) within walking distance to Piccadilly and Leicester Square (15-20mins). When the sunset it is just nice stroll back passing two busy parks. The building of the hostel is beautiful. Everything is clean here. We have the private room, with a bathroom, small size but as expected and we slept just good. Sunday is abit busy and more noise in the morning but other days are ok. We were out and about everyday thus it doesn’t matter with the size. Basic breakfast served daily. I can grab a cup of coffee, toast and egg. At the back lane, there is a nice bakery shop with great latte and cinnamon rolls.

Be ware It is not exactly next to the station as seen on some photos.

For a hostel the accommodation has been super clean (especially the kitchen rooms!). I had the feeling that there were always some cleaning ladies around, trying to keep everything clean and nice. The staff in general was super kind and friendly. Also the private bathroom in our dorm was always cleaned perfectly.

I don’t understand why the rating of this hostel in general is bad! I really liked it a lot and had a great time there. Only the beds in the dorms were probably a bit small (but for me as a woman with 1,70m it was still okey - but might be too small for a huge guy) and not too comfortable. But for a couple of days it was still fine. Unfortunately we were in London during its hottest summer time (more than 30 degrees) so the rooms were quite hot as well in the third floor.

The price and the location. The staff was nice and helpful. When you pay this price for a bed you have to know what to expect. They haver a big kitchen and dinning room. Also lockers for a price.

The bunk beds have three levels. Mine was the top one and even when the price is so low, you expect at least seat straight in the bed. I´m not tall and I couldnt seat straight because my head was touching the cealing... The toilets and showers were very worn out. Old facilities.
