The hotel room was extremely clean and the layout was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is on a busy main road but once the windows are shut you can't hear the traffic.

It was really hot in our room and throughout the whole hotel so we put the air conditioning on in our room. I woke up at 2am with water constantly dripping out of it into the floor. I tried putting a towel underneath but it was still really loud. The shower floor was really slippery and I nearly fell over twice. We wanted to eat in the restaurant but the 3 items we liked off the menu we were told they weren't serving those so we ended up ordering in a pizza from across the road.

Free parking on site in London is a great bonus. Check in was efficient. Staff were friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced, particularly for London.

The window blind had been broken at some time and was left propped in a corner of the room. A replacement had been fitted but was not exactly fir for purpose. The bed was positioned so that it was right beside the window so that the blind had to be closed at all times of the day to avoid being seen from the garden.

The free, secured, parking was so helpful and a key item for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant downstairs. The food was great and breakfast was included with our stay. The bed was also very comfy and there was very easy access to public transit; both train and bus. The hotel also sits outside both, the congestion and air quality zones. So if that is a concern for you this may be a great option.

Our room was on the top floor, there is no lift and the stairs are narrow and winding. It made carrying luggage upstairs a bit challenging and would definitely not be suitable for someone with walking difficulties. The hotel also sits on a very busy road. Being on the top floor our room was very warm so we had to keep a window open and it was quite noisy. But overall we would stay again.

My stay overall was very good. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would say it is more of a hostel than a hotel, the entrance is through the pub, which left me a bit confused at first. The rooms have good soundproofing as you can hardly hear any noise coming from the pub. Room well equipped with amenities (towels, shampoo, shower gel, cream, hair dryer). However the curtains were dirty and stained, big stains that I noticed as soon as I entered the room, you couldn't miss them... The hotel has very good location, there is train and bus station nearby. I want to highlight the food in the restaurant which is excellent! Both at breakfast and dinner!

We booked to stay at the Tulse Hill hotel as my uncle's wake was being held there the next day and it was minutes up the road from their house and the crematorium. When I mentioned this on arrival, the girl checking us in knew him by name and said he was a regular there. She reminisced about conversations they'd had & it was a lovely, personal experience. It meant so much. The hotel room was lovely, a huge and comfortable bed, a coffee machine in the room & great facilities. The breakfast was yummy and they were very flexible with us checking out the next day with the funeral arrangements. Overall, the most wonderful experience given a really sad reason to be staying. I'm very grateful to all the staff who made my uncle's wake a lovely family & friend focused event. David would have been so pleased & grateful.

The location was great for a wedding we were attending. The downstairs bar was lovely full of character and served great food and drinks. Very welcoming. The staff were so good, attentive and professional and nothing was too much trouble and always cheerful. Plenty of smiles . The room was clean, bed comfortable and despite being on a busy junction and facing the road, not that noisy - good sound proofing. The shower was great.

A very eclectic mix of furniture and some of it was a little worn and the room need a small amount of updating but this did not stop us having a great sleep.

The staff were excellent! so welcoming!!! Felt like chatting with friends! Good menu for dinner and breakfast. Air conditioner made a good ‘white noise’ which was good-see next answer…. bathroom was clean and modern. really nice. Bed comfy! heavy black out curtains were good.

Only thing to note-the walls are definitely thin! you hear the music in the pub downstairs. the hustle of the traffic outside and doors of other hotel rooms closing. I’m a light sleeper so was thankful for the air con… note the stair well up to your room is roasting hot (mind you it was August). Rooms lovely and cool with air con so not a big problem.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, as well as accommodating. They were able to accommodate a really late booking (day of) and were nothing but positive in every interaction. The food service was great and the on-site chef deserves nothing but compliments!

Only issue I could find was that there was a slight lack of ingredients in the kitchen (nothing major) and a broken coffee machine, but that's nothing to fault the staff or hotel for! Replacements were available and the staff was quick to respond to these issues.

Boutique hotel with all the convenience of a pub and restaurant. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room a good size. Comfy bed. Excellent shower (over bath). Restaurant menu has good choice of dishes. Hotel Ideally located near railway station as we were off to Wimbledon tennis - just 3 stops away.

Hotel own Car parking a bit tight if hotel full.

Great staff - so helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast. Amazingly comfortable bed. Nice coffee and toiletries. Free parking (tight car park!). Pub downstairs is lovely. Good value for a weekend in London.

Opposite a large building site and on the ambulance route from King’s (I.e. expect noise). Some lights/aircon not working properly, taps loose and signs of water ingress to room. A bit too much furniture in the room - people with a lot of luggage might struggle for floor space.
