I just love Luton Hoo. I have stayed a couple of times on my own now for for some R&R. The staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and the comfiest beds and pillows! The spa is great and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. Sometimes things can be a little slow but well worth the wait. If you stay at Luton Hoo, everything is peaceful, relaxed and time slows down. Just relax and enjoy it. Such a stunning place be.. I love it here.

This was the second time I've stayed and the TV in my room didn't work.... luckily I had my laptop but. ..it would be nice to watch something in the evening and morning when enjoying the lovely room.

My stay at Luton Hoo was amazing. The site is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The scenery is very well kept and the main house and rooms are very clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating at all times. I will definitely be returning!

I noticed a few minor details worth mentioning. In the corridor by the rooms, some of the wallpaper was peeling. Additionally, a few of the steps were damaged and had red cones placed around them, as well as by the spa area, which slightly affected the overall aesthetic. While these were small issues, they were noticeable - not enough of a problem to stop me from going back!

Beautiful historic property set in amazing grounds.

The service and attentiveness of a lot of the staff was really poor. There are lots of people employed but the majority of them just walk around looking busy but don’t come over to see if you want anything, clean plates away etc. On a number of occasions we had to stop staff and asked for things like top ups of water, which they said yes to, then didn’t come back. Also topped up three glasses before the water ran out, then didn’t come back to top up our 4th guests glass. Reception staff were really good, friendly and helpful, as were staff at breakfast, but the lounge and Saturday night dinner staff were really poor considering how expensive the food and drink is. Staff need more training, but even the head of the restaurant was poor.

The building is beautiful and has a very interesting history. The spa area is 5 minutes walk from the main hotel, so we had a room near the spa area, which has an excellent pool , sauna etc. However this meant walking over for breakfast, although we could have asked for the shuttle to take us there. The breakfast was very good with many options and more than I could eat. All the staff were extermely helpfull and well trained.

The temperature control in our room was broken so the staff immediately provided us with 2 stand-alone heaters, but then there was no regulation of the temperature, which became hot during the night.

I recently stayed at the Luton Hoo Hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated in a Victorian style that made me feel truly posh. The food was exceptional, especially the breakfast – rich, delicious, and perfectly prepared. A big round of applause to the chef! The staff were friendly and welcoming, particularly the smiling waitress who made me feel right at home. The pool was spotless, with the staff diligently maintaining the water and environment. The extensive grounds were perfect for a relaxing walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and can't recommend it enough!

Food and restaurant service was outstanding both in Mansionhouse restaurant and Country Club Room service was excellent. Menu looks limited but the food we chose from it was fabulous Surroundings/Gardens were lovely Lovely well equiped room Lovely little private terrace but unfortunately not securely enclosed so we couldn't use it for sitting out with the dog.

Had to walk from Country Club to Mansionhouse for breakfast. This would actually be nice on a dry day but not great in the rain with cars going by as you had to step off the road onto muddy grass to avoid them.

The estate is vast. You can call the front desk to send a car for breakfast, to the spa, or to the estate gate when checking out. The staff service was excellent. The building’s décor is classical and luxurious, rich in elements but harmonious, really beautiful. The swimming pool is surrounded by large floor-to-ceiling windows and greenery, ensuring privacy and creating a pleasant atmosphere. You can also borrow bikes from the spa to ride around the estate and enjoy the natural scenery. The room is really big and clean, with bath and shower both.

The sandwich menu at lounge can be better, The avocado on toast is not so good. Wish they can have more vegan cuisine on menu.

I was blown away by this stunning hotel, the staff, service, dining and facilities were all fantastic, exceeded expectations! The mansion is absolutely beautiful, every room is so elegant and peaceful. The food was incredible. I tried the 7 course taster menu and it was wonderful. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. Fabulous!

The only tiny down point was the TV in my room wasn't working. I reported this but nothing was done unfortunately. Not the end of the world of course, but being on my solo break it would have been nice to watch something in the evening.

Beautiful grounds and buildings, the hotel looks amazing and full of charm. Spa facilities were amazing, we were given robes which was a nice touch. We booked 2 nights as it was our wedding anniversary, the room was large and comfortable which was away from the main house but it was nice as the restaurant and spa facilities were very close. The breakfast was nice with a excellent selection. Loved the hotel and would definitely go back again, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

The restaurant by the spa was probably the only part we were a little disappointed in but the starters were amazing.

The hotel is spectacular. We were moved, at my request, to a different room with a better view of the gardens. The room was magnificent and the staff, especially David, were friendly and very helpful. Other notable mentions are for Srinivas, Surender, Pooja and Ahmed who looked after us splendidly at tea in the drawing room, dinner in the Wernher restaurant and at breakfast the next day. Chris, the doorman/ concierge, was engaged and informative when he gave us a historical tour of the property. Really happy with the experience. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
