The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had dinner 2 nights and on both occasions the meals were of a high standard. Breakfast is excellent with a fine choice of continental or cooked. The room was very comfortable with all facilities such as coffee maker hair dryer etc. The weather was very hot but a fan was provided.. Wa were very happy with our sea view.

The only drawbacks were : a. Lack of lift. The stairs were steep and we were on the second floor so it was a bit of a climb. b. We parked in a long stay car park which entailed a long trek up a steep hill. However, the location of the Rock Point Inn more than made up for this inconvenience.

The Wi-Fi is free to sign into and the connection is excellent. Management and staff are ready and pleased to help with any difficulty that arises. We had the attic on suite room that was perfect for our four day stay, much longer with all the stairs to negotiate would have been a bit to much for as at the over seventy age bracket that we are in. I have a gluten intolerance that was not an issue for me with a good selection of food on a separate menu and a choice of drink is satisfactory.

Parking is an issue that needs some thought as two 'Just-Park' sites are about a eight to ten minute walk away, but dropping off the luggage and picking it up is OK.

A charming place with excellent staff, situated right on beach on the main street. We had a small but romantic attic room with a newly renovated bathroom. The pub's terrace overlooks the sea.

The ventilation could be better because without AC it can be hot there in August.

Great location by the sea and in the centre of Lyme Regis. The room was very cosy and comfortable. The bed was amazing and we slept so well. The bathroom is small but thoughtfully designed and the shower is great. The bar was a little noisy as we had the windows open but that stopped at around 11pm and didn’t disturb us too much. We had an evening meal at the inn which was good if a little pricy, however the prices were as expected for such a nice place. Service was friendly, accommodating and quick. Food both evening and morning was very good. We enjoyed our breakfast with an excellent cold spread and cooked breakfast. Could only be improved with better sausages but the bacon was great.

Long stay parking is a bit of a trek up the hill and costs £15 a day.

Everything was spot on! Lovely room, very comfortable, very clean, great view of the sea and located right in the heart of Lyme Regis. Delicious breakfast in the morning and the restaurant also has an amazing view to enjoy with the delicious food. Staff were all very nice and accommodating too. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was pretty much perfect! If I’m being really fussy - a few more teabags and some fresh milk in the room would be nice especially as there is a fridge in the room too, however I asked for a little milk at the bar and they were happy to provide it. Also, I think as the standard of the hotel is so good that a robe and slippers felt appropriate, but didn’t affect our enjoyment or the stay.

The hotel is in a superb location at the quieter end of the main beach and directly overlooking it. Although it's at the end of the main shopping street, there was surprisingly little traffic noise. Our room was not huge, but it was full of character and everything was provided to a very high standard - a wide and comfortable bed, good shower and thoughtfully designed fittings. There wasn't room for more than a small side table, but we enjoyed sitting in the window seat, reading and watching the activity on the beach and boats leaving the harbour. This was the first time we've seen a Nespresso machine provided in a hotel room - a very welcome innovation. Breakfast was generous, and we enjoyed eating it on the terrace immediately above the mouth of the river and the Old Walls.

The location is fantastic with our room (9) overlooking the sea. The room was quiet - although we were there in early spring and had no reason to open the windows, I don't know what it might be like in summer. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and powerful - that said it was a 'wet room' set up and I was a little anxious about water getting everywhere. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choice, cooked fresh to order.

Car parking is a little hit and miss - that said, we were only there for three nights and with a bit of planning, found no real issue parking the car. The bonus is that between 6pm and 8am parking in the local car park is free.

We had a stunning room on the top floor (No. 7) with bar leaner type seats at the window to sit and look out to the fantastic view of the ocean. Both the bedroom and bathroom were huge - the shower was great and all was beautifully decorated- we really felt quite pampered! Lovely restaurant with sea views where we had a delicious dinner, and a sunny breakfast spot in the morning. To top it off the staff were all absolutely lovely!

Once you enter this room there is a little steep flight of stairs to negotiate with your luggage which could be quite tricky for some people, I imagine, but we found them a novelty.

Although the room was small there were some nice touches that made it comfortable. Night sensor in the toilet so no bright lights needed. Decent shower although toilet roll got wet after, need the holder to be placed elsewhere. Location was perfect and the bar is bright and well staffed. Bed was big and super comfortable and TV had Netflix options. Second window was facing the high street so great for people watching. I had a lovely two day stay and although it didn't quite meet my expectations, it satisfied me enough to be a happy customer.

The room was small and the sea view window was oddly placed in the corner and was obstructed with a vanity table, also slightly too high up so standing view only. Romantic idea of waking up with a sea view was not possible. Expected more for the price considering we went out of season.

This place was brilliant, and I'd stay there again any time! The location is just stunning, and having breakfast or dinner with a view of the sea was one of the highlights. The food is excellent, too, both dinners and breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We booked the last available room, which we knew was going to be small - and it *was* extremely small. I would book earlier and book one of the bigger rooms next time (and yes, I'd still want to come back anyway). Parking is rather complicated. You can park just outside the Rock Point Inn, but that's short-stay, so you actually have to leave the car in the long-stay car park, which is about ten minutes' walk away. That said, I'd consider coming back by public transport: buses along the coast and to the next station seem to be working well, and stop very close to the Rock Point Inn.
