We stayed at the Beach House for two nights with our 7-year-old daughter. We were warmly welcomed and felt instantely at home in our "bookshelf", which was a beautiful and very spacious room nestled in a corner on the top floor. The room as well as the bathroom was not only very spacious, but very clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was not spectacular, but sufficient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They pay particular attention to food allergies and ask with every order whether there are any special intolerances. Dinner was really good and we very much enjoyed the beautiful dining room with a view. The location is excellent, right next to the sea and with a pretty backyard. Parking space is available right in front of the hotel.

We had a large room with a wonderful sea view. We were provided with everything we needed. It had a large ensuite with bath and shower. The breakfast was served in a room again with lovely sea views and despite the waiting staff being young they were very good and very friendly. We also had drinks and some meals at the pub during our stay which were excellent. The hotel is an old arts and crafts originally built as a family home and they have made the most of the features in the rooms as well as the location as well as making it into a very pleasant place to stay.

We loved staying at this hotel. Everything is great, including the location, the decor, the outlook, the room being seperate from the main building (we stayed in the annexe), the shower, the food. You have direct access to the beach. The car park has plenty of room. The staff are great. It's not too far to local shops etc. The view!!!!! Love Milford on Sea We will definitely be staying there again.

There's a slight step into the bathroom and a bit of a slope in the ceiling - something to watch out for, especially if you have any mobility issues.

Excellent facilities for a dog - we were upgraded to a larger room, with a separate TV lounge, on the ground floor. There was a small enclosed patio to which we had sole access, and a shared, secure garden where we could let our large dog off his lead safely. We were able to eat in the casual dining restaurant with him for both dinner and breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly, and made a great fuss of our dog. The Beach House had a lovely rear garden and patio, with access to the beach only a little distance away. There was also free car parking for hotel guests. It was very quiet and peaceful, despite our staying over the busy Fathers Day weekend.

It has old world charm, wood panelling, comfy cushions & pillows, attention to detail to give extra comfort & feel of luxury(toiletries, wide selection of teas etc in room) Amazing view of sea & Isle of Wight. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful..nothing too much trouble. The best bit is the sun room on the first floor.

We loved it! But a lounge with comfy sofas woukd probably make it more cosy in winter time. The sun room is great but small.

Warm welcome from reception, Breakfast and Dinner in the restaurant were excellent

We arrived at 2.30pm , rooms are not ready until 3pm which we were aware of, we checked at 3pm room not ready and told we would be contacted in 10 minutes, chased again after 30 minutes and again after a hour, we would have been impressed if offered a cup of coffee while we waited for a hour and consider that would have been great customer service. One thing to note if you select” pay at property”we were charged immediately on reservation and having had to cancel our original booking and rebook I had to chase for repayment 5 weeks after the payment was taken, Steve the general manager sorted this following one email so good service

The history and ambience of the building itself as well as the view from the (breakfast) restaurant, the garden etc. We got a room facing the car park and road but albeit us generally being sensitive to outside sound it did not blemish our stay at all. Beds were made for dreams and bathroom was super. The staff was very service minded and caring. We travelled by public transport and with a bus stop just opposite the location is ideal. Breakfast as well as the local fish meal we had were fantastic. Good kettle and Coffee, tea and biscuits in ample supply

Hard to think of anything. Price level could perhaps have been a deterrent for us. But in retrospect it was well worth it.(Dinner well priced though).

We were a bit surprised on entering such a lovely building to find a bar in the entrance which didn’t match with the grandeur of the stunning stained glass windows. Also (and this only happened one night so maybe an anomaly related to the people that night only) the noise of people in the bar area carried upstairs into the rooms above. This could be remedied by a heavy curtain to muffle the sound on the bed room door

Where can I start? We had an amazing time visiting The Beach House. The entire hotel and surrounding area is charming, beautiful vibes. We very much enjoyed reading in the sun room. Staff was helpful and polite at all times. Our room was clean, very pretty, quaint and warm. The bathroom was very spacious and modern. Breakfast was excellent. We loved everything we ate, extra fresh pastry and the poached eggs were a work of art. The breakfast area was lovely, fantastic atmosphere. We dined in the library (!) which was a wonderful experience. We particularly enjoyed the venison bourguignon and the Nourish Salad Bowl (avocado, roasted cauliflower, mixed grains, roasted squash, spinach, pickled red onions, garlic aioli, pomegranate seeds, radish). We would definitely eat and stay there again and can't wait to return!

The WiFi was slow and spotty but that is the only negative in an otherwise exceptional stay.

We stayed a single night and have never been to the Beach House before. We have an electric vehicle and was pleased to find that there are a number of ( fast) charging stations in the area. The Beach House has a very large car park so parking was easy. We came down well before the agreed check in time and decided to have a light lunch and then a walk along the coast before we checked in. The lunch was very nice and good value . Staff were friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for better. The decor is very nice and with large warm fires it was very welcome after a walk by the sea. It is located actually on the coast so you can walk on the very well kept coastal paths without ever encountering a road. We decided to go for an upgrade on our room. The room was a big surprise. It was fantastic. It was large and comfortable , the manager Stuart showed us around. Although the room was fantastic , the views were even more breath taking. It is a short walk in to milford on sea along a reasonably well lit footpath where there are a couple of extremely good pubs.
