Buffet breakfast has good selection, freshly squeezed orange juice , fresh fruit , cereals , cold meats and smoked salmon well presented usual English Breakfast items , A la carte for other dishes including kippers but no Smoked Haddock which should really be available at an hotel of this calibre , but all in all very good .

Dinner menu in main restaurant does not change very much , this was our 3rd visit during last 2 years and it looked pretty much the same starters and mains each time , but all cooked well and good quality . The Sunday lunch is particularly good , still use a carving trolley .

Staff went above and beyond to be helpful in every aspect of our stay. The grounds (including amazing flowers/plants) and facilities were immaculate which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our room was larger than expected and it was clean / presentable which matched our expectations.

Added service charges to our final bill which hadn't been accounted for however when flagged to the staff, they were accommodating to our concerns and removed the charges accordingly.

We had a bad experience at dinner which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons for going. however the front of house staff and reception/management we brrillant. Also Travis was exceptional in the bar making on the spot unique cocktails and very engaging interesting guy. A real asset....

We choose the room service breakfast which was beautiful in our room and what surprised me the most was the welcoming table from the hotel management which was personal to me, I could not find any fault with our overall experience.

There was no dislikes about the hotel, but some guests didn't welcome that we had a young child with disabilities.

we thought the hotel was in the countryside side but were pleased to be told we were only 20 mins walk from the beach. The suite was so lovely. a very comfy bed, HUGE bathroom, complimentary nibbles and abundant water and fruit drinks. it opened into a private terrace which we enjoyed with a sundowner in the evening before dinner. Food was superb. went to Kitchen on Friday night and enjoyed a simple but delicious meal. The fish and chips were the best my hubby has ever had!! On Saturday night we were in the dining room and enjoyed a fabulous 3 course meal. We can completely recommend the twice baked cheese soufflé, filet steak and Dover sole. Breakfast was an array of everything you might possibly fancy and would suit everyone’s tastes.

Beautiful grounds and rooms. Very accommodating for my young children (both under 5) in terms of quality and variety of meals, access, room set up and activities. My baby was unwell one of the days and they were very helpful. Breakfast spread was incredible.

A large hotel with many different parts to it but even during a busy holiday week it was easy to find quiet space and relax. The service was impeccable. Prices are high and one should expect a corresponding level of quality and they don’t disappoint.
