Such a great welcome wonderful room with lots of extra touches. Excellent breakfast. We were going to the Theatre Royal and it was literally 1 minutes walk away and so near the town centre also.

We don't have heating on in our bedroom plus a window open for fresh air. So the duvet even with the blanket was too thin so we were cold during the night. I know this is a personal preference but an option of a thicker duvet would have been good. As it was I slept in the dressing gown. ALSO why no biscuits? This doesn't mean we won't stay again just we will be more prepared.

Friendly staff on arrival in a beautiful and comfy environment, in which to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea after our tiring journey. Comfortable, warm room, which was quiet, even though it’s centrally located. We did keep the windows shut, as it was big enough, not to need extra air. Comfy bed and luxuriously spacious bathroom. My husband was happy to do Christmas shopping, watch sport lounging on the sofa in our room and reading the papers in the comfy chairs in reception, next to an enormous, beautifully decorated Christmas Tree, whilst I went dancing with my friends. In the evening, we had a Ball in the Ball Room. This wasn’t quite as beautiful as the reception room used for weddings, which was slightly disappointing, but apparently it’s bigger and less expensive, so more suitable for our purpose? Hmm, I’d like to dance in the other room one day, so we will see what happens next?! We will definitely be staying here again! Lovely memories😍🥂🍾

Perfect central location for a city break with the comfort and luxury of a beautiful building. Suite was spacious, clean, modern and luxurious bathroom and the little extra touches of coffee machine and fridge in room. Bed was amazingly comfy and we used sofa bed for additional sleeping space too which was also very comfy. Staff were on hand and so helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t rate the afternoon tea and breakfasts more highly.

All the staff were considerate, kind and efficient. The breakfast was five star and delivered hot on a cold morning, presented beautifully. Every detail in the suite was taken care of from cleanliness, quality fittings, bedding, amazing water pressure to my extra requirements to an unexpected bottle of bubbly. Katie was exceptional in empathy and professionalism. Assembly House provides a 5 star boutique experience in the heart of Norwich , Norfolk with personalised service and care for their guests.

Great location and outstanding breakfast with excellent, friendly staff. Extremely clean, large room.

The room was up two full flights of very narrow stairs. Not a problem for us but impossible for older people. Slope on floor in Room 10 might aggravate vertigo. Wi fi was very slow and uneven. It may be better in lower floor rooms.

Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable. Great ambience in the public rooms. Breakfasts were lovely, staff superb and the location couldn't possibly be bettered - only a 5 minute walk to the sights and restaurants of central Norwich.

Wifi was patchy within the room. Short outside walk to reach the main house. Parking is very good, but a little tricky to find on first arrival.

The bathroom was very large and had a very large bath at one end and a full size walk in shower at the other end so you had the best of both worlds it was also fitted with heated towel rail and underfloor heating which was a nice touch it also tad bathrobes and slippers for both guests ,The main room was very spacious with a very large comfortable bed

We as a couple have no negative comments as everyone/thin was as we expected

Excellent cooked breakfast to order and first class ingredients. Friendly and informative staff. One small criticism, however, the garden furniture for Room 1 needed a good clean and the gardens throughout needed better looking after.

The building itself is so old-world and inside was just as spectacular , the high ceilings and they have kept it as it should be, the bath was big and you could fit two people in it as the plug was in the middle. The front garden is lovely and it does feel like you have stepped back in time and you can relax and have a drink or a cream tea . There was a big room where they was the breakfast buffet was as i.e yoghurt , cereal, some pastries, then you were in a smaller room to eat your breakfast shame that room was wonderful.

The room was smaller than the pictures shown, the bed was too soft for me but that's just my personal choice , I would of liked someone to show us our room rather than someone giving us the key and directions as the bedrooms are all round the back and so you go via the front garden and through a side gate, the breakfast was not the best the bacon was too hard the toast was over cooked black and brown. Would of liked to have been offered lemon or honey with my Earl Grey.

Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and 2 large armchairs. The bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and free-standing bath. Breakfast was excellent with good coffee served by pleasant, efficient friendly staff.
