Lovely hotel, you can really see there has been a lot of money spent getting it looking fantastic. Staff were so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I had a spa treatment which was lovely. Breakfast staff were very attentive without being intrusive.

The only downside for me was breakfast. Our breakfast on the Friday morning wasn't great. The hash browns were like cardboard and the bacon was dry. Tinned mushrooms a big no no. The continental selection was lovely though. The one point that really was an issue was having to do your own toast with a household toaster not a commercial conveyor which was situated right by the continental selection. People were not informed that should they want toast with their breakfast it would be wise to cook it before hand as the breakfast was cold by the time the toast was done. The chef on the Saturday was a different chef and it showed in the breakfast we had on the Saturday.

Lovely staff, brilliant food, catered to dietary needs, spa area was incredible!

Quite a long walk to the town/beach with a huge hill to walk up so we got Ubers after that and they only cost around £5.

The property has lovely restaurant, the room had a nice few at the garden and had a big bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We did enjoy the breakfast in the morning, was lovely buffet and also can order hot food, it was delicious. We also used the spa which was great as when we arrived it was raining a lots. Lovely relaxing day.

The location is not far from the centre to walk to town but wasn’t comfortable to get there with luggage so we would recommend to take a taxi going to the hill. We also find the swimming pool quiet small fir swim and the sauna wasn’t working well but still enjoyed the experience

Loved the beautiful decor and furniture. The hotel was decorated beautifully, and it felt very welcoming - particularly near Christmas time. The food was delicious and a great variety. Staff were accommodating and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely size! Room was clean and again, decorated well. Had a lovely stay here and would be more than happy to return.

There wasn't really anything to complain about. The relatively high-end pricing reflected the quality of food and drink, so as expected. The pool was somewhat on the chilly side but the hot tub definitely helped take off the edge. There was a small stain on the bed sheet, nothing that bothered us much - these things happen. The water pressure in the shower could have been a bit more powerful, but temperature was great.

Overall Heywood is a lovely spa hotel. We had a lovely stay, a great sleep in a nice king bed, and the breakfast was lovely. A nice selection of options on the menu is available, with some juices and a fresh coffee available. The room was spacious (albeit we were given a free upgrade - always boxes well) with a lovely layout that felt new and well designed. The team aided us in sourcing flowers as part of a baby moon, a lovely touch. The hotel is within a brief walk to the Tenby center - and we made it even with a pregnant wife. We found the hotel is also well priced albeit we have visited outside of peak season. The hotel felt intimate but has comfortable spaces, the spa was of a more than suitable standard for a 4-star.

A few of the fixings are aging, the lockers in the changing room for the spa being one example.

The spa facilities was amazing, well kept and clean. Having time slots for your visit was also a very good idea so the area doesn’t become crowded. The restaurant was absolutely lovely, the waiter was clearly well trained and was very polite just like all the rest of the staff. The lounge area was very cosy, especially for this time of year in the winter.

The only issues me and my partner had was the shower wasn’t great, lacked in water pressure and you couldn’t fix it to a different height, but that wasn’t a huge deal and didn’t spoil our visit at all

We stayed here for a few days to explore Pembrokeshire and it was perfect for that. We were upgraded to the executive suite which was a spacious room with lots of storage, and an updated bathroom. Staff were nice and breakfast was amazing. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment on that.

There are not enough towel hangers and no room to put your shower essentials comfortably, this could be fixed easily. There were two chairs and a table at the patio area but they looked very old and rusty so we did not use them. The patio is also part of the common garden area so did not feel private and we kept the curtains closed because of this.

The kindest hotel staff I have met in the UK! From the receptionist to the restaurant staff, the spa, everyone was very friendly polite and kind. We felt very well looked after and very welcomed. Thank you for the free bedroom upgrade! That was a lovely surprise and experience. We enjoyed the sauna, indoor jacuzzi and pool, but for us the best best best one is the outdoor hot tub! Just fabulous :) The water was proper hot, 39-40C which was perfect in cold weather outdoor. Very big for two people and the jet in the jacuzzi worked so well. We had dinner at the restaurant and food was top notch! Can’t anything bad about it. Loving it! Main, starter, dessert were tasty and well presented. Breakfast was also included and well-plated and served. I love the fresh ground coffee. Fabulous place to relax 🧘🏽‍♀️ ☺️

It was a last minute decision to book, the welcome at reception was just the start of a perfect stay. I travelled with my son age 8, we dined in the restaurant and the pomegranite and orange salad was amazing, as was the rest of our meal and our breakfast. My son is a fussy eater but was able to order just what he wanted. We enjoyed the spa facility and managed an afternoon swim as well as a morning one before check out. My only regret was booking just one night. My son had aspecial cake as it was his birthday and has already asked if we can return, it's a high quality environment but very welcoming and accepting of children.

We should have booked a longer stay, but we will return.

The hotel staff especially Elana in the restaurant were lovely, friendly and efficent. Spa and treatment was very good. Well organised and lively to jump in the hot tub on a cold wet afternoon. Food was very good just a bit pricy but did expect that.

The room was standard, nothing special. Would have liked a couple of comfy chairs to sit in, not dining room chairs. Too much furniture (wardrobe) for the size of the room. Could have done with a fridge for extra drinks. Hotel could do with a face-lift outside don't like the colour too drab and areas of disrepair inside need attending to, I.e. front porch & doorway
