This booking was for a family group of 10 there to celebrate a Golden Wedding Anniversary. The facilities were ideal especially the fabulous pool and gym which helped end the day with the children when the weather wasn't great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We all ate breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant which had excellent well presented food at reasonable prices, including a children's menu. The rooms and ensuites were clean and modern as was the superior lodge that one family of 4 had. The location is quiet, surrounded by the Dales and the holiday park is well maintained. Its within 9 miles of the market town of Skipton, with its shops, castle and canal boat rides. Bolton Abbey makes for a good day out for all the family too. We intend to return as a couple to explore this beautiful area again.

The 29+ emails that I have received from the Inn and Booking.com since I booked the rooms, confirming each separate room booking at least twice, reminding me of the upcoming stay and of each evening meal booking, despite me ordering all as one booking and confirming the booking a few days before. Plus a number of emails have come after the stay requesting feedback. So annoying.

What a cracking little place to stay this is. Opted for one of the woodland pods which was great for the two of us. Little kitchenette has everything you need for a short stay. Spotless inside. Hot shower. The underfloor heating is a lovely touch and makes it really cosy. The whole wider site is really nice and having access to the leisure facilities is brilliant. The pool is great, sauna and jacuzzi a bonus. The pub itself is fantastic with friendly staff and a warm welcome. We tried the breakfast one morning which was top notch and also tried tapas night which was lovely too. Can't fault it at all, a really nice place to stay.

The location is great! Peaceful, good parking, nice area well away from the main road, the pub was very nice with a great menu to choose from, very helpful with my food intollerance which was great to see and then the spa/pool/gym next door was perfect!

Not a lot not to like but if I was to say anything I feel it was a little tight not to let you use the pool the day of checkout. You have to checkout by 10am and you can only use the spa/pool for free by using your key as proof as a guest and I feel when you've travelled to such a place you'd be able to use it the day you leave. Think this needs some thought moving forward. Only other thing was our shower was great but sadly was needing some TLC towards the grouting as it was looking quite poor, moldy & missing totally in places and would only take 30 minutes to fix and look great again. We stayed in the Ingleborough room. Again these are just small picks.

Lovely weekend, very friendly staff. Great breakfast. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Excellent location, just what we wanted.

We came for my daughter 18th birthday. We wanted a relaxing spa day . Was disappointed that the steam room was closed . The jacuzzi we couldn't get in as it was too full . Full of young kids trying to pull each other !!!!! Couldn't get into the sauna as also full of quite a few lads, so never got chance to go in there either. We only had an hour in as it was too noisy so we were very disappointed. It wasn't just us either. Another lady got out too and said she didn't want to see people kissing and all over each other !!!!! So pretty disappointed as it was a surprise for my daughter.

The location is stunning, and so peaceful, the pod we stayed in was perfect, very well decorated, very clean, and the bed was like sleeping in heaven, we had such a good nights sleep, so comfy. The Pod had everything you could wish for in self catering, everything worked perfectly. The only thing it could do with is a mirror in the main room, apart from that there were no negatives about the pod at all. My husband had a back massage at the Spa, which he said was really good and relaxing. We also went for a coffee in the cafe the people in there serving were really lovely and friendly and the coffee and tea cakes were really nice.

I feel that they need a dedicated area rather than the bar in the pub for check-in/key collection to ensure data protection is adhered to, my personal information could be seen very easily by people standing at the bar. If this small change happened, the place would literally be perfect.

This trip was to celebrate my good friends birthday so I wanted something a bit more special and I certainly found it at our beautiful Lodge, Yockenthwaite Moor. It was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and the big bonus was having our own private patio garden which we made good use of. I loved the peaceful atmosphere of Long Ashes Park where the Gamekeepers Inn is situated with use of the pool and the gym included in our stay which is great. The Gamekeepers Inn provided our evening meal and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The conservatory where we ate is beautiful and relaxing. The staff were efficient, polite and helpful. Can't fault a thing.

Having to leave! 😄

Stayed in Pen Y Ghent. Beautiful setting, very comfortable room with nice facilities. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Dinner of fish and chips was honestly the best I've had in a time. Full Yorkshire breakfast was delicious! Having a little seating area outside the room with a private garden was delightful.

The only tiny niggles are that in July the room was very warm to sleep in with only a tiny fan. The shower tray doesn't fit the walk in shower area and water overshoots to land in the gap despite being super careful with angling the shower heads. These are two small things. We're totally excited to stay with you in the future.

The staff were welcoming and warm in their care of us. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and well-cooked, and they even offered tasty gluten-free options! The facilities were clean and generously supplied. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They were immaculate! An outdoor elevator was available which was great as I have difficulty using stairs.

The bed was a bit overly bouncy. Then again, we are used to an antishock mattress that also comfortably supports pressure points. The pillows were adequate but could have been a little more supportive. The shower tray was extremely slippery. We used the mat provided, but it didn't cover the full tray. We used the showers in the changing rooms of the pool, which were much safer.

All was good other than the comment in regards to hot room

When we entered our room after being at a family get together with local family our room when we opened the door it was like a oven. On checking if anything was on and nothing was we had to keep the French doors open all night which it was still here warm so didn't sleep well. Not sleeping well had nothing to do with the extremely comfortable bed and linen was lovely. Only issue was how warm the room was. On mentioning this to a member of staff the answer was they retain heat I the summer but don't & can be cold in the winter just like our conservatory at home. This really needs to be looked at either a better roofing or aircon in the rooms to help when hot weather is in the area.

Absolutely loved my stay at the charming pod in the Yorkshire Dales. The setting was incredibly beautiful, offering breathtaking views of the Dales, making our getaway special. The pod itself was a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. Immaculately clean and well-maintained, it provided a cosy retreat with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The modern touches added a touch of luxury, making my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic find.

Be prepared to be completely disconnected, as there is no mobile signal, and the Internet on the pod doesn't work.
