Stay was wonderful. Only thing was having to pay extra £30 each for spa. Little bit pricey with the cost of the room already, however enjoyed very much

Breakfast and Dinner was of the standard expected. However although the Hotel is dog friendly I was not happy that dogs were allowed in the dining room whilst people were eating etc. Although as one would expect apart from the hygiene aspect they are not under control ie barking etc. This detracted from the enjoyment of the break.

Everything. We have stayed before and love it. This visit was special as e we chose it for our wedding overnight stay. Staff has left a bottle and congratulations card in the room which was a wonderful touch. The view from the beautiful bedroom was glorious. The spa was wonderful, the view magnificent when you are in the outdoor hot tub. Staff in the restaurant brought us a glass of bubbly to celebrate our special day. We will be back

Nothing. We may not eat in the view restaurant next time as the quality has been a little disappointing the last couple of times but not enough to spill our trip at all.

Great hotel for my location, Breakfast superb, evening meal slighly expensive but was very good quality. However you can have the bar menu in the restaurant which was excellent and View from the main resteraunt in the am is wonderful. Club sandwich in Bar is huge, great quality and value however bar a little on the small side could be slighly larger but again can use the main resteraunt which has a great feature fire in the centre. Great staff especially the Manager at Breakfast who was superb

As explained above the hotel is in a great location, wonderful views, great staff, clean, warm, free slippers and robes in room also a robe that fits me a rarity even in the Marriott, CP or HI.

Beautiful location. The staff are AMAZING we did not meet one staff member that wasn’t obliging, polite and friendly. They seem very invested in the hotel and look happy to be at work, it makes the atmosphere lovely within the hotel. The spa was wonderful and so relaxing and the lake side walk on a frosty morning was just stunning. Food was fab, breakfast excellent and we had an all round superb stay.

The room was not as big as I’d expected based on website images. So when I book again, which is inevitable because I am so keen to return, I will need to be clearer about what I am booking. I’d love a rear balconied room.

The grounds were abaolutley lovely for an evening walk and felt very relaxing and secluded. We were very pleased by being able to bring our dog that was very helpful. We did wonder if we'd been given a smaller slightly more dated room as we had a dog but it was fine for what we needed it for. The spa was amazing.

We were a bit frustrated by the resturant staff. At check in we asked if we could go for dinner that night at the resturant and we were told yes, no need to book. Then a few hours later the resturant said 'there's no space'. The woman at front of house was quite unapologetic and didn't seem to care too much that we had been told one thing and we're experiencing another which didn't feel great. Eventually it was sorted and we came back the next night but this did mean a last minute change of plan which involved us getting a taxi to the next town. I just would have used the front of house staff to have apologised for the mix up. The front of hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly . Otherwise our stay was great and the food was great.

Beautiful landscape, clean and comfy room. Food was lovely and perfect portion sizes, drinks lovely too. Staff were very helpful and accomodating, spa facilities were great, and worth the extra money. Will definitely return in the near future. Overall a lovely weekend and the staff went out the way to help celebrate my partners birthday.

Slightly limited menu but wasn’t an issue for us, I can imagine there being a lack of seating especially in the summer months, as bar, lounge and restaurant were relatively crowded in the evening. Overall no major issues and a lovely stay, as stated will 1000% be returning soon!

Food, very well cooked and presented. The staff were very polite, friendly and efficient throughout.

The dinner menu only had one vegetarian option and was the same menu on the 2nd evening thus providing no choice, The staff brought an alternative menu from another area which served the purpose but not as good as the main menu. I strongly urge you to have more than one vegetarian option on the main menu, and possibly a vegan one. It is sad that at "Spa Hotel" the use of the spa is only available to guests for a limited time on payment of a considerable charge. In my experience this is unusual at Spa Hotels.

The large rooms with an extra large bed. There was a bath with very hot water. The location is wonderful and the staff are friendly and helpful.

There were no lamps in the room, just severe overhead lighting. We had to ask for bedside lamps which were brought to us promptly. There were no glasses, we got some from the bar. The billing system in the restaurant was not very good with three different amounts given as a total.

Our stay at The Coniston Hotel was lovely. The staff were so polite and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and had lots of choice and the spa facilities were amazing.

The bedroom we stayed in seemed a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. The bed was comfy and had lots of room, but think the bedrooms need updating.
