Room wasn’t available so we got a free upgrade! Coffee machines in rooms is amazing and snacks and drinks in fridge too! Comfy bed and good bathroom

Obviously not their fault but the fact there’s no parking is a nightmare got a parking ticket in the morning as didn’t get up early enough ooppss but that was our own fault

Very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was great. Would stay again

Could hear a bit of street noise. Was much better when the room window was closed

The room was lovely, well decorated, plenty space for what we required. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were lovely

We were travelling for personal reasons (not a holiday) and had a 10 month old with us. For this reason we couldn’t necessarily go out late. The first evening we arrived late so we wanted to eat in the room. The restaurant was closed so we wanted to eat from the 24 hour menu. Ironically the 24hr menu doesn’t start until 11pm 🤣 anyway they weren’t serving much of the food that was on the menu so we ended up buying a pot noodle and a tub of ice cream from their small selection of refreshments. It’s not terrible but wasn’t ideal when we had been looking forward to a proper meal!

Hotel easy to get to from the central train station, about a 15 minute walk. Reception area nice an bright, with both the restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Room was a nice size with the usual amenities. Bathroom was ok, bath fitted was nice, but would have preferred a better quality walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was as expected, very wide selection of food catering for all tastes. In the evening I ate in the bar area, and the selection of bar food available was great, and the service was very quick

Entrance and exit from the hotel is straight onto a main busy road which had to be crossed if you wanted to go into town, which wasn't ideal. TV could have been a little bigger. Having a bath fitted was nice, but due to the weather would have preferred a larger walk in shower instead. Not a great lover of shower curtains and albeit the shower was ok, would have liked more room and shower screen instead of curtain.

The location is great as is very easy to reach the city center and the Red Ferry to travel to Isle of Wight. The room was good size for two adults and two kids on 5 and 8 years old. Comfy beds even the sofa bed was very comfortable. The bar had good choice of drinks and the kids menu was acceptable. Breakfast was great as we enjoyed every morning. Not to busy for end of May beginning of June. Good range of options on the buffet. Maybe just the toaster have to me fixed as toasted only from one side. We had a good time and will be definitely recommend and will stay again if we are at Southampton.

Lovely staff, couldn’t be more kind and accommodating. The check in staff and the bar staff were so lovely and especially sweet to our daughter. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, the room was great space and the beds were comfy. Also very handy to have space to unload car etc out the front and there are several car parks within 1-5 minutes walking distance. Also a 2 minute walk from the hotel is a beautiful park which was lovely to walk through to and back from the town centre. There is also a fab play park there. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning, lots of choice already and extra choices on request if needed!

The hotel is located in a very good location (parking not so easy to find) but very central and all shops close by. Was given a family room and was much bigger than expected. We requested a small fridge as my autistic daughter will only eat specific foods which we have to keep on hand. Hotel provided this at no extra cost which was great.

Upon arrival we had quite a lot of luggage, asked staff if they could help with luggage to room but was told no one was free. Same was said at check out time. Would have made life easier as I have 3 kids and since no car park we had to unload very quick;y.

Hotel staff were lovely and they made lovely little touches such as providing our little girl with a colouring pack on arrival and when we arrived into the room there was a plate of chocolate. Beds were lovely and good sizes.

Location is terrible it’s literally in the middle of a very busy roundabout with no parking facilities, we parked on a tiny car park across the road which are only accessible via stairs to the hotel which was a nightmare with a suitcase, lots of bags and a little one to climb and cross the roundabout with. The shower was absolute rubbish only half the nozzle things worked it was like being dribbled on and although we had a bath in the room it was that low down it may as well not have been there. The toilets by the reception area were also dirty, we only briefly used them before we set off home after check out and 2 out of 4 cubicles were very dirty.

We added breakfast to our room reservation and were glad we did, it was delicious with a wide selection. The room was considerably larger than we expected or had gotten used to in our recent travels around the UK. We got a lovely surprise of some small cakes with a welcome note in our room, and some drink vouchers for the bar in the lobby. Beds were very comfortable. It seems like the hotel used to be run down but now has a nice facade and that management is making great efforts to turn it around.

The shower was a bit narrow so the curtain was touching you the whole time. When we first checked in the lifts were running so slowly that we walked our bags up to the fifth floor instead of waiting, though it seemed like they were running more normally after that.

Firstly I’d like to start with I booked this hotel for my parents who was attending a festival at the common. As you do I was in contact throughout there stay, from the moment they arrived they was so happy, first of all the hotel accommodated an early check in for my mum and dad, they said the room was better then they could of imagine for the price and location which was central and easy to find, Parked for 24 hours at the local multi story for £14. Went off track, back to the room which was spacious and modern fitted with all facilities you’d require. On one’s return from the concert to be surprised with a plate with some personalised chocolates with the surname of guests staying ( lovely) with a complimentary drinks coupon at the bar for two. Staff was polite and accommodating and very well organised and most certainly a credit to the lovely hotel. Rated they’re stay 10/10 and recommended me to book for myself one time ha Thank you very much for making my mum and dad so comfortable and the trip a pleasure; high five 🖐️

Absolutely nothing.
