The check-in procedure was very simple, the apartment was nice and large and well stocked. There was a reasonable supply of simple breakfast ingredients (bread, milk, orange juice, butter, jams, marmite and cereals). The host was very friendly and helpful. Despite the entrance being right off the main road, the apartment itself was quiet! I also really appreciated the easy access to Bedgebury forest and the pinetum, just across the road...

The WiFi reception in unit 3 was poor, I had to go upstairs to connect. Once connected, though, the connection remained when I went downstairs again.

Lovely space for us as a family of 5 to stay. Big enough that we were not on top of each other. Lovely clean bathroom. Loved the breakfast bits left out for us. My children loved picking which box of cereal to eat. Host was lovely when I spoke to her on the phone.

Only thing was that it was very warm there. But that obviously couldn’t be helped but an extra fan or something would have been handy.

We really liked the accommodation - was plenty of room for the 3 of us and have everything we needed. Well presented too!

If I'm being really picky, the pillows and mattresses could be better. And although the accommodation was far from filthy, it could have been a little cleaner - eg more thorough cleaning inside cutlery draw and the actual shower unit but nothing a wipe over wouldn't fix. Over all we were really happy with it and would definitely stay again as well as recommending to friends and family.

Lovely find after being let down by our booked accommodation. Lovely lady had our room all ready within 45mins of booking and travelling there and we had a few basics like bread and milk , cereals and OJ included . The windows were all fitted with blackout blinds and cabin was soundproofed and we had free wifi.

Absolutely nothing. Except having to leave!

Everything was perfect - had everything we needed for a one night stay, and thoughtful extras like the breakfast included. The chalet was cleverly laid out, functional, and felt private. Great communication from the host and a really warm welcome. They even helped us with local taxi details so that we could get to and from the wedding we were attending. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

Despite the location next to the A21 (which was super convenient) the motel was very peaceful. The accommodation was exactly what we needed and my children enjoyed exploring around the buildings. Having Bedgebury Forest across the road is a fantastic bonus. I was able to run to the Saturday morning parkrun directly from the motel.

Would have liked to stay longer :)

Excellent location for our trip, very close to Bodium Castle and Bedgebury Forest. Not too far to drive to the coast for a trip to the beach, such as Camber Sands. Lots of other attractions nearby that we did not have time to visit. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and comfortable - we were 2 adults 1 child in a 1 bedroom place. Well equipped with a basic but nice bread and cereal offering for a continental breakfast. Plenty of parking on site. Decent pub over the road - does an excellent fish and chips! Would recommend.

There wasn't anything not to like.

The staff were really helpful and accommodating, making quite a difficult situation really easy and simple for us. The room had a little upstairs bedroom and sofa downstairs which were both very comfortable. Everything was very clean and had plenty of quality supplies.

Its not a reflection on the motel but future giests should be aware that its quite difficult to arrange a mini cab in the area. I started looking the day before it was needed and really struggled.

We stayed 2x nights in one of the all-wood log cabins, it was very cosy and warm, the space is roughly double the space you would have in a hotel standard family room, so if you have children with you it's ideal. En-suite bathroom with shower very convenient as well. Kitchen with small hob (electric plates), microwave, toaster, kettle, small fridge/freezer, very handy to prepare your breakfast. Milk / bread / cereals / jams / butter provided as continental breakfast is included. There was a large table for 4 people for your meals, which we also found handy. Free car park. The TV was working fine and had plenty of channels, unlike some other hotels.

Cleanliness could have been better, the windows and the window sills were a bit dirty. We also found some dirt and hair around the edge of the shower, but less noticeable compared to the windows. Breakfast is continental and very simple yes, however something else could be added to make it more exciting, for example some fresh pastries, otherwise it is no different to what you would have for breakfast at home, this is something that could have been definitely absorbed into the £100 per night we paid for our stay during the school holidays. I wasn't too keen on the mattresses, not very comfy, the duvets also were not keeping warm too well, quality should be improved.
