The property was spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable, well equipped and light and airy. There was a lovely view from the window of the garden, trees and houses beyond. Denise and Debbie were lovely ladies, friendly, helpful. The breakfast was delicious. A good choice of breakfast items. The location was good, it was handy for the town and seafront.

The property is on a hill so might not be suitable for older or less mobile people. Although there are plenty of taxis available.

The room was spotless, light and airy with lots of windows for a lovely breeze whilst getting ready for the wedding we were attending. The breakfast was delicious, it was hot, freshly made and had everything you could want. The tea was lovely, fresh pot with two cup fulls was perfect. The kids loved the endless orange juice and toast. The ladies who run it were just so lovely. The views from our room were beautiful, the kids liked to watch the train go past in the distance!

The only thing I could say would be a fridge in the room would have been great when travelling with a family lots of snacks need to be refrigerated so we had to travel with a little fridge.

Breakfast was lovely. Debbie & Denise, the hosts, were so friendly and helpful, it was like staying with friends. Nothing was any trouble for them. Facilities are brilliant. So nice to have a lounge area to sit in, rather than having to sit in your room. Lounge also has a large TV. Also had a cellar bar which was great, even though we only used it once. Decor is bright and fresh. Lovely outside space as well. Location good as able to walk into town along the sea front.

We were warmly welcomed and during the entire stay we were well taken care of. Breakfast at the Sandpiper is prepared according to personal wishes for each guest. The location of the hotel is quiet and after a short walk you are at the sea und the Harbour. Perfect! We felt very comfortable and recommend a booking at B&B Sandpiper! The Whole in the Wall in Torquay pub has very good food, a good drink selection and live music. You should definitely stop by there.

The hosts were amazing, the ladies were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.Room was nice and spacious,very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was amazing,hot and with a big variety of choices.Location perfect,lots of cafes,bars and restaurants around.And of course views amazing,walk around coastal just perfect to fill the day.

The owners were exceptional, the room was very comfortable, and the location was perfect apart from the hill, up to the accommodation. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

The room could do with a little refrigerator in it. Other than that, it was a great experience.

This is a lovely guesthouse located in a peaceful, leafy area of Torquay close to the Riviera Coference Centre. We were attending a conference. The owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Guest House is extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing. Our room was nicely decorated and careful attention had been give to the needs of visitors. We really enjoyed our time here along with the great breakfasts. Thank you.

I have never stayed anywhere where I have felt so relaxed, the place its self is lovely and the ladies were so welcoming. The breakfast was very good and I had a wonderful time.

Quite noisy when upstairs used shower/flushed toilet as waste pipe must of been running past my rooms bathroom.

The hosts are very welcoming and considerate of your needs without being intrusive. They are interested in your visit and make suggestions of trips to make and places to visit. An excellent base for visiting Torquay and the surrounding South Devon area. Excellent choices for breakfast - well cooked with attention to detail. This was my second visit and was as enjoyable as the first.

There was nothing I would improve.

Just recently back from a fabulous stay at the Sandpiper. Our room number 4 was spot on, extremely clean, lovely comfy bed with a well equipped bathroom and a great bay window overlooking the garden. Parking is on site, though there additional parking on the road as well. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order and using fresh local ingredients, tried both the traditional full English breakfast and egg benedict, both were excellent. Short 10 minute walk to the seafront or to the town centre. What made the stay extra special was the fabulous lady hosts who were always on hand and extremely polite, and friendly. Would highly recommend this gust house.
