The apartment was comfortable and was wonderful for a beach getaway. The location was a quick walk to the beach front and a variety of restaurants,off licences and cafes. We had fantastic communication from staff and most of the amenities available were great! Would definitely recommend austen apartments and would probably stay again !

The staircase leading up to all apartments had a very musty smell which wasn't great as it was the most thing you are exposed too upon entry. The wifi signal was pretty poor whilst being there and the TV was quite outdated with no option to stream.

Clean, modern, spacious. Great location. Clean towels were delivered when requested, thank you.

Quite noisy with traffic all day and night. Difficult to unload and load car with luggage as on a corner with traffic lights and double yellow lines. Kitchen could use oven gloves and chopping board. Details at booking offered toilet paper and toiletries but only one toilet roll and no toiletries.

Conveniently located. Large and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Clean apart from smell mentioned below.

WiFi didn't work in main room. However it did work in the bedroom. Slight smell of animals having stayed in apartment was apparent for non-animal owners. Apartment is dark due to being in basement. I would go for a floor level apartment in the future. Confusing emails received before arrival about additional deposit to be paid.

They should improve the wifi installation since if you are a nomadic traveller who works from his computer there it becomes impossible so I had to leave the accommodation 4 days before the reservation was fulfilled, a great observation please a television where you can have access to the apps since the TV there is only for local channels too boring in general clean, comfortable

Loved the location and the general comfort of the apartment. Beds were comfy and show was fantastic. Sofa was also comfy and plenty of room to eat and prepare food. Bonus was an unexpectedly large fridge and freezer - which was fantastic for self catering. Really good value for money, meant that we could get away for break with our teens and not feel cramped during the times when we just fancied relaxing rather than going out. TV and DVD player also great and a controllable thermostat. Daughter loved that there was a dressing table in their room. Second bedroom was spacious enough but not enough room for hanging space. Despite being an attic apartment there was plenty of light coming in. Close to a bakers, take-aways and a small shop, walking distance to main shopping and seafront, on a couple of bus routes and walking distance (12 mins) to train station, and swimming pool (6 mins). Tiny lift to 3rd floor, but was great for luggage and shopping...less grumbling from the teens because they didn't have to carry their bags up 3 flights!!

Very small niggles - somewhere to hang wet coats would have made a lot of difference, just coat hooks in the hall would have been great, or maybe on the wall by the cleaning cupboard so they dripped onto the kitchen floor. Also a bit more crockery and cutlery would have been helpful. As I said, very small niggles in an otherwise fantastic flat.

Stayed in apartment no 2 Great location with parking. Spacious and comfortable apartment. Well-stocked cutlery, plates. Tea, coffee, biscuits welcome pack a nice touch. Safe gated outdoor patio was ideal for the puppy. Easy access, great communication.

Only a couple of minor things An indoor front door mat especially on wet days would be good Also, a curtain/net to the archway of the shared bedroom would be better to add a level of privacy. An outdoor bench/seating. There is so much potential for the patio, and some garden touches as noticed this is at the front of the property but not back.

Convenient location, great size apartment with quality furniture and equipment. Parking also available.

Communal areas dirty (huge stain on carpet outside apartment doorway) and fag butts and rubbish on patio area leading up to front door

nice modern and clean apartments. great location, a shortish walk to the seafront, beach, restaurants, bars etc. there’s crazy golf nearby and also an indoor swimming pool and spa at a nearby hotel you can pay to use. there are small shops nearby for food and drink needs and a good bakery.

all of the other properties on the road had lovely frontages with plants etc but there was nothing at the front of our accommodation except a couple of benches. it is on a busy road so is quite noisy.

Jo the manager was extremely helpful at Austens Apartments after I had had an awful experience with another property where the owner was uncontactable and no access, and spent 2 hours on phone to Booking.com to find an alternative.

Only slight issue was there was no hairdryer, and I could not find a single shope that sold one, so i looked like Crystal Tips for the holiday.

Big apartment with 2 bedrooms, booked at short notice. Dishwasher, plenty of towels, majority of it clean.

Drain smell coming from bathroom, mold around inside shower, dishwasher not fixed in properly at top so top rack kept sliding forward. Some baking trays had residue left on them, and other small cleaning issues.
