Location to train station was excellent. Restaurant on site with good options for dinner and breakfast at really reasonable prices. We stayed on a Wednesday night and had no issue with noise. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were an absolute delight, particularly Hannah who gave us loads of recommendations while we were in Glasgow. We didn’t get his name but the lovely gentleman that served us at breakfast also gave us great tips for our trip to Ireland.

We had room 7 - Internal room with no windows. The Shower was so tiny! The doors are a really poor design for the space. They need to concertina more so they can open further without an average person having to step into the shower sideways.

I had a large room. The service was very friendly. This is really more a pub/restaurant that also has rooms, rather than a hotel; this is in a way quite charming.

The downside of being mostly a pub is that it was busy and loud on the weekend, though not so much that it really bothered me. My room door didn't lock properly (i.e. when I got back after a walk in I could open it without the key card), but I'm not sure if there was some trick to close it that I didn't know about. Recommend asking staff.

Everything. We needed to last minute ask for a different room (two separate beds because my wife was sick), and they accommodated us with no extra charge, and it was a perfect room. Everyone was helpful, plus our best dinner meal in Scotland (here a week prior), and they even provided a child's portion of a meal for me to bring to my wife, and allowed us to have breakfast brought up to the room (and hostess even carried it up for me). Room very comfortable, quite, restful. No regrets at all that we choose to stay here.

Nothing comes to mind

The hotel had a real buzz about it. The outside area was very welcoming and inside was lovely. Not what you would expect in that kind of area. We had a gig to get to in Edinburg, we had been unable to find anywhere closer to stay. This meant we had very little time.to spend at the hotel. We were gutted about this, because the atmosphere and the place seemed amazing. We are from Lancashire, England, so a little far, bit would l9ve to go again, just to stay at the hotel. Thank you!

The Beds and the room, bar, restaurant and the overall hotel was excellent. The first hotel to actually put in 3 towel for 3 guests in all my years of travel. And the same with the cups for tea/coffee......three of them. Beds were so comfy and the room was just perfect. The ironing board and iron was a welcome addition to the room. The food in the restaurant was top notch and the staff were very professional and friendly too. Car parking is excellent and overall the 2 nights stay was fantastic. Will definitely be back next year as we have/visit friends in Uddingston. 10/10

The shower and sink were a bit small in room number 3 but that is just a space issue and nothing that could be done there I guess but removing the soap dispensers from where they are located above the sink would help when shaving and cleaning your teeth as a practical issue. The only other thing was that the water was not overly warm in the taps and shower which could do with looking at for the future. That said the rest of the room was just perfect. 9/10

The location was brilliant - only 10 mins from Uddingston Hockey Club where a tournament I was attending was played. Across the road and down a bit (5 mins walk) is a train station - two stops to Glasgow Central and this was £4.30 return so great for getting into the main part of the City. Only a handful of rooms in the hotel and they look brand new - the bed, bathroom especially the shower were excellent. Ate one night in the restaurant because was generally out and about a lot and the food was similarly great. I had beef 3 ways and clearly the cooking is of a high standard. The bar and restaurant are busy so you get a sense this is a popular location.

With the windows open you can hear the people who have come out onto the terrace, doesn't bother me as I slept soundly, might trouble someone else.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean.

We arrived after a 6 hour journey from Scrabster, with only 15 minutes to spare before our dinner reservation at 7pm, to find no space in the car park, due to several badly parked cars, so had to park outside a marked bay and move the car later (once the crowds thinned out when the football match was over).

this property was everything and more! I don’t think they give themselves enough credit for how beautiful everything is and how lovely the food etc is! we arrived at 23:30pm which was way past closing time and one lovely staff member was kind enough to wait for us to let us in on arrival. the food was beautiful very good price and quick too! coffee 10/10! thank you for such a lovely stay, ps I would recommend the hotel to upload more pictures of there hotel as we got there and I was so surprised of the beauty inside!

Easy to get there. Bus stop directly outside. Very professional and friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother and everyone did their utmost to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible 👌😁

I have ms and the disabled lift was out of order, so I had a little difficulty with the outside steps and indoor stairs and the disabled lift was broken.

Location was excellent to meet with family

Lack of storage space. Only a very shallow wardrobe which stored the ironing board. We had heavy coats, suits, shirts and dresses to hang up. Ended up using hook on back of room door.
