Large, comfortable and clean room. large and comfortable bed with two zodiacs of pillows - soft and hard. room very well soundproofed - despite the view of a busy roundabout, no traffic noise penetrated the interior. room was cleaned daily. Service at the reception very nice, helpful and professional. Near the hotel there is a shopping center with many shops and restaurants.

Older TV. In the large room there should be a large Smart TV with access to streaming services such as Netflix or Apple TV. Typical English breakfasts were very good, although a bit monotonous during longer stays. I missed a few ingredients in the buffet such as fresh vegetables (e.g. cucumber, tomato, etc.), cheese or cold cuts. And finally, a small thing: I had to reset my room access card at the reception every 2-3 days because it stopped working, but the very nice and smiling ladies at the reception always helped me.

Excellent cooked breakfast every morning. Room is well laid out and headboard lighting an excellent addition. Complementary free drink for my birthday was a lovely gesture and one I have never had from any other hotel at this time of year.

The dry iron in the room, if this could be replaced with a functional steam iron it would be great as one of my birthday gift shirts received a scorch mark on one of the upper sleeves despite correct iron setting which was a little disappointing- I can use this shirt for work purposes albeit under my dust coat so it wont be as noticeable

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Getting luggage from car to inside of hotel was not an easy process. There were only 2 spaces out in front of the hotel, which were not marked as a loading zone for check-in or check-out purposes, and when I arrived, these spaces were occupied, so I had to drive around to the designated parking area which is part of a shopping center. After checking-in, the same vehicles were still there, and so to avoid carrying luggage up steps from the parking area, I had to drive back around, stop in a no-parking area, unload the bags, then drive back around to the designated parking area. When I checked-out, I had the same problem. At a minimum, it would seem that the hotel should have the 2 spaces out front properly marked as a loading/unloading zone.

Having spent 7 days on the NC500 driving around Scotland I hit a flat tire and was fed up so rather than drive back to Yorkshire, found this place at a cheaper cost than others in the Glasgow area. The two young ladies who greeted me in the night shift were brilliant and very friendly. They also welcome dogs so my Frenchie was more than happy with the large bed having been camping.

I think £25 for a dog to stay is excessive. At the point of booking I chose the hotel for the price, to then be told at reception this fee was due is a bit of a lie. After booking I drive straight to to the hotel, it wasn’t until I went to bed booking.com had sent me a message regarding the additional charge. My small dog has never caused damage and is house trained, a small child is more likely to wet the bed or mark the walls then him. A great stay overall but this charge I feel is not fair.

Very comfortable bed, great bathroom set up so 2 people can use at same time but privately.

Location gives access to good supporting shops and entertainment but can be noisy. Free Car park was hard to find - it's actually the retail park and you put your registration number onto a tablet in the hotel. We took our dog and there are no signs indicating which areas.of the bar you can go into with the dog (or if there , I didn't see them!) Thus I was asked to move to a different area which only had high bar stools or low coffee tables to eat at. Felt a bit uncomfortable, could have been avoided if signage better. I'm more than happy to respect dog areas as I am grateful when somewhere accepts my dog.

We did not actually stay at this hotel, due to an overbooking on Booking.com's part. The staff informed me via phone call that afternoon of the overbooking, and kindly put us up in their East Kilbride hotel. They covered the difference in price, and the taxi to the residence. Appreciated. Shout out to the lady on reception at night in the EK hotel, I have her name but shall not name her, but her name started with A, and she was great. Poor show however on you booking.com, you almost ruined a very important evening for us, the lady wasn't happy.

Bed duvet had a few stains on it. Shower plughole sounded blocked and continued a good 5 mins after the shower (backflow), this was the accessible room. Shower itself was excellent though.

Good central location close to shops and local cinema. Convenient free parking. Large bright social/dining area and additional lounge/work area that was available for my use before check in.

Room was facing to the rear and the double glazed windows couldn’t shut out the noise of the delivery trucks, there was a fair bit of noise and banging about in the morning. Breakfast was overall very good, only negative was the jams were in a large open container, rather than the usual small packets, and this looked unhygienic and unappetising.

Good location for visiting relatives and other places we wanted to visit.

Although property is dog friendly the provision of facilities for breakfast is poor. Dogs can’t be taken into the dining area unless they are assistance dogs and therefore breakfast has to be collected and taken to the break out area which has low tables which are not really suitable for eating breakfast off. There is an area that has a higher table but it is near the main doors which are constantly opening and closing. There are also no condiments available in this area as they are on the tables in the dining area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful except one morning when several times I walked past reception ready to say good morning and the 2 staff members didn't say anything. On the whole though were very good.

I didn't like that there wasn't fresh orange juice, it was a mixture of citrus if I remember (which I did try) and didn't like, it was very thin juice too so I had to have apple juice. The bed wasn't for me, it felt comfy but it gave me a lot of back pain through the night and first thing in the morning.

The location of the hotel was perfect, near connections on road to East Kilbride and Glasgow. the welcoming at the hotel and service whilst there was fantastic. My husband is disabled so everyone helped me to ensure he was ok, enev one of the reception staff came to collect my luggage from the bottom of the stairs to, so I could get my husband up the ramp. Kudos to all. The whole hotel was spotless and bright.

In general everything was amazing, maybe some more hot choices in the breakfast, but not a deal breaker.
