Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, great facilities in the room, excellent value for money

I booked this before reading the reviews as it was the cheapest with best location after reading the reviews I almost turned round and didn’t go, on arrival it looked fine from the outside unlike the reviews said. The young lady on the desk was very friendly and helpful couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotless and warm bed comfortable and we did not have any problems or hear any of the other guests like it said on the reviews. It was perfect for us well worth the money overall a great place to stay

No parking on site but the girl on reception told us where we could park, plenty of car park near by

It may seem I have given such a high rating for a simple, standard room that many may not want for leisure purposes. But given I had booked it last minute and just needed a bed and a shower for the day and night to reside in, it was perfect. I didn't get the chance to use the WIFI or microwave, but I greatly appreciate this was provided alongside with the kettle and coffee/tea available. Shower and towel facilities were satisfactory. Bed was more than comfy! I cannot suggest I'd be wanting to pay near £50 for a room like this (I was able to take advantage of a discount at the time), but thankfully you can probably find variable prices depending which website the rooms are available on. Overall, I'm most likely to book here again for a simple, quick escape when I want to be alone and undisturbed - especially so I can do some work with the desk that was available too.

I can only think, other than not wanting to pay near £48 or more for the room, the room's seem dingy/dark, despite there being enough lights in the room and they do not seem dim. This may be due to the dark brown carpets you have in place, but again, it was not an issue and hardly affected my stay - if anything, I needed the darkness at the time, but usually I, and I'm sure many others, prefer brighter lighting and decor. This doesn't impact my decision to stay again on my own in the future.

Easily accessible by lift, gave me a superior room at no extra cost. Clean and spacious.

Only problem I had was the bath plug was missing, however the lovely receptionist personally went and found new one and attached for me in minutes..

A really good sized room with fab facilities, tea, coffee, microwave, fridge and good Wifi

I was really happy with the acommodation, there was nothing I did not like!

The bed was extremely comfortable and there is a full size fridge for predrinks, and plates and cutlery which came in handy for our takeaway at the end if the night.

The area may seem a bit rough to some people, being at the bottom end of town behind the wheatherspoons pub, but fine for us

Having to pay a refundable £100 deposit I feel was abit steep. I've never had to pay this in any other hotel.

Location was great, right next to the shopping centre and in the town centre which was great! The beds were comfy and the room was spotless. Great stay
