Beautiful location, lovely setting, very friendly, professional and helpful staff throughout my stay at reception, restaurant and the gym. Nice room at a bargain rate compared to the standard price with a free upgrade. Delightful buffet dinner. All good!
Tiny pockets of dust which only needs someone to be more mindful of places where dust can gather. The carpet infant of the fridge was torn. The queue to check-in took 10 mins to reach me and even though I trued to check-in online as the email said, I still needed to go to reception as it kept saying pending and would "let me know`" when my room was available when it was already past check-in time

I liked the the room size and shower and bath
The room above was very loud foot steps at late hours thin walls in guessing as heard lots of conversations same from the room next door. When I went to meet someone at reception there were a few men who had clearly to much to drink and was being very loud and reinacting trying to fight each other while using vile language, the staff just let this continue whilst I was walking past they nearly bumped me when I said they needed to have a bit more respect for others the men made fun of me I know this isn't the hotels fault however the staff watched everything and didn't say a word another gentlemen asked if I was OK as I was an my own as he seen what happened I was surprised these men were aloud to be served to get into this alcohol drunken mess

I surprised my other half for our anniversary as he has always wanted to stay here and found a good deal for bed and breakfast. To say he was speechless was an understatement he really enjoyed and we both had such an amazing time there was no negatives about anything, just truly magical. I also decided to reserve a table for dinner at steak on six for an extra treat and to say the food was out of this world. The atmosphere, surroundings, beauty etc is just amazing and this would be perfect for that extra special occasion where to have the opportunity to dress up for dinner and have such a fun while relaxing time it's truly the one. We will definitely be coming again as it has given us magical memories to last a lifetime would recommend to anyone.

The size of the room, the bed was amazing in size and comfort, the breakfast was really good with a lot of variety and friendly staff, and the hotel facilities. The location was perfect for me as I was at a weekend conference at the resort. Being afforded the resort facilities, like the gym, swimming pool etc... was great. Also, the quick access between the two establishments was amazing. There were also free drinking water stations which I thought was a really nice touch. The grounds themselves are amazing, even though I didn't get the chance to explore them in the entirety.
The cleanliness was ok, a lot of dust build up behind the TV, and the carpet wasn't hoovered properly, with hair found on parts of the carpet. I would have expected a slow closing toilet seat. I know it's not a major thing, but it's the first time in a long time I haven't had a slow closing toilet seat. The other issue I had was that I had an issue with my room, which I spoke to reception about. They said they would give me a call after speaking with maintenance, but never did. Other than that all the staff were really friendly and helpful, hence my overall rating.

Manor House is a little distance from the main hotel and takes some finding if you use the main hotel entrance. But wow, once in the main hotel, it's fantastic opens up to plenty of seating areas and bars to drink and eat at I could not fault the place and with playing golf on the twenty 10 course it was fully enjoyable stay and the breakfast was great also.the facilties in the room were adequate for my stay.
Car parking charges at £20 a night are ridiculous even the cheaper £16 pound one, which is a good distance to walk to the main hotel dragging your case along. In the cellar bar the pool table was out of order the dart board games had a £10 charge. You would except bar charges to be higher, however you would not expect to pay more than what you pay in ordinary pubs around £3 dearer. Pint of cider and Guinness £15+ which is considerable dearer

Traditional, beautiful house. The atmosphere overall relaxing without any hustle or bustle. Very friendly staff. The beds were excellent, same with the room size. Location perfect for what I needed: literally next to the ICC. Nice breakfast.
Some parts (like carpets on some areas) were a bit worn out. Overall clean, but I noticed some lacking on small details (like very dusty outlets in my room). Inconvinience is that there is no elevator on ground floor - only starting from the next floor. If you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, reconcider using this hotel.

The decor and the building were amazing and the spa was reasonable for the treatments and the ones we had and facilities we used were excellent! The room was immaculate and everything was very fancy and felt very special. The pool and spa baths were also absolutely beautiful. Not to mention the views are stunning
The only issues were that considering the expense to stay and to frequent the spa etc. The food and especially the drinks were extortionate. I paid £30 for two single shot drinks. And the food was very fancy and unfortunately very rich and not too my taste although the room service we did have was lovely. Also I found the room was extremely warm which made sleeping a little difficult.

The swimming pool in the health spa was a great bonus and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a very good selection, but the cooked food was losing its heat. Perhaps we should have booked an earlier time. We enjoyed the chicken in a basket snack food in the bar and that was ideal as we didn’t want a lot, having eaten earlier. Overall it was good value for what we paid with booking.com. It’s ideal for an overnight stay and we would stay again.
The charge for parking. It was a steep uphill walk to the car park -a good job my partner is fit. There’s also a lot of corridor walking even to reach the lifts.

On Arrival at the hotel it was not clear where we should go. We booked to stay in the manor house and followed the signs, and once through the barriers the manor looked closed, no lights were on and no signs to show where the entrance was. Despite receiving emails about checking in and digital keys there was no information on any of the communication either, I called the booking line but it was 6pm and out of hours . At the main resort entrance we were greeted and he explained he would take our bags and that we could check in there. He was very helpful and directed us to the car park. As as electric vehicle driver I was very pleased to find the charging was free. £10 to park per night however. Upon checking in we were give a map to navigate ourselves back to the manor building to our room, 3 escalators and 2 sets of stairs. The room was clean and tidy all of the facilities were available. The shower was a good medium pressure. We ate in the Olive Tree restaurant on the 1st night, I had received emails prior to arriving that I could book into other restaurants, we did not expect the size of the resort and therefore if you want to guarantee a place in the other restaurants, booking should be done in advance. The Olive tree is also the restaurant for breakfast and for all meals there was a great selection and the food was a very high quality. On our 2nd night we ate at the Grill restaurant which was pleasant, again there was lacking information on how you could get around to the other restaurants which are not located in the main building, but when asked we were advised there is a 24Hr shuttle service. Our 3rd night we ate at Merlins bar, we wanted an earlier simple meal which met our expectations, the app / online ordering was not working and it was not always easy to get the attention of a staff member. On our last night we ate the Steak on Six, a wonderful high end restaurant with fantastic staff, customer service and food. a great dining experience.
I was disappointed to watch a mum have to clear up a broken glass from her table when a member of staff was stood adjacent wrapping cutlery. On the 2nd night we sat in the Mulberry bar, they were clearly understaffed, the bar was a mess with drinks everywhere, multiple people kept going up to the bar to place orders only to be sent back as it was table service only, but only 1 waitress.

Buffet in the Olive Tree was nice - particularly the roast beef. Room was a little tired (about to be decorated) but very comfortable with nice toiletries etc. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Signage could be better as the hotel is huge. I'm sure we did a few hundred steps more because it wasn't clear. I like what has been done with the yellow/red underground parking - maybe extend this concept? Drinks as usual are very expensive but that's a universal thing. It would have been good to have got a specific email on "book your spa"
