The room set up was fantastic, I loved that as a family with young children (6,5&5) we didn't have to go into the pub to get to our room. We were able to put the futon in-between the two single beds so all 5 of us could sleep in the same room, leaving the living room as just that. The beds were clean and comfortable, there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Check in was easy. There was a hairdryer, kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar and TV. There were also plenty of towels, body wash and shampoo in the showers.

The showers were the only thing that let this place down, as there just isn't enough water pressure. I have long hair and washing the shampoo out took so long I didn't even consider putting conditioner in the ends. We couldn't wash the kids in them as they would have been too cold, and it would have taken too long. Great for a weekend away but not sure we would risk an entire week.

Clear directions to reach venue, friendly cheerful reception, easy check-in, room ready on arrival. Very impressed with junior suite (room 6), 2 showers, a lounge area with large TV mini fridge, ironing board and steam iron. Also extra beds if needed. Very large bedroom with king-size and 2 single beds, wardrobes and full length mirror. This set of rooms is above the pub, and the style and condition reflect the age of the pub, but are clean and in reasonable condition. Close bedroom window though on going to bed, otherwise street noise is disruptive. Bakery next door great for breakfast baps to set you up for the day, nice garden area to sit in. Great place for staying with your family dog.

Unavoidable, but the steps up to flat entrance (metal) and then a flight inside as well, make sure you don't forget anything!

A last minute holiday booking, and I was worried about the accommodation being in a pub setting. However, we had our own access, and we were able to use the pub garden for our personal use. Outside of pub opening hours we had the garden to ourselves. The staff & locals were really friendly, giving us lots of local knowledge and times of events which we would not have otherwise known about . The family room was larger than expected, room for everyone and clean. It was extremely hot during our stay, so take a fan. They supplied an iron & ironing board. It has a small fridge.

There was only one makeup mirror in the room & a wall cabinet mirror. No full-length mirror. Luckily, I FOUND a full-length mirror on the streets of Weymouth. I've left it behind in the room, so anyone else booking should have everything they need.

Plenty of space in the living room area and the 2 bedrooms were a very good size with good size double beds in each bedroom. Decor was nice and the whole place was clean and well presented. Location was fine for me but it is a good half hour walk to the harbour area!, it’s approximately 10-15mins to the beach and I love a walk so it was fine for me. Parking was great too in a nice parking area round the back of the pub.

The mattresses on the beds were very cheap and springy which made the creaky and noisy. The shower needs updating, perfect heat, power and space but the temperature control seems to have seized a bit, luckily my daughter jumped out and let me know before getting scalded. I did manage force the valve round to cool it down but be careful. The pub is old skool and traditional with that steady smell of stale ale in there, doesn’t really bother me I love a traditional pub but may not suit some with kids.

Easy checkin, parking and close to local amenities and clean room with lovely outdoor space. We were very happy with staff and customer service.

Room numb. 2 had very boiling hot water in the shower and we could not make it cooler and therefore unable to shower my 8 years old son as it was too hot for him. This was big drawback during our stay. At evening we asked gentleman from the bar area about the shower, although he was very helpful and came and adjusted the shower for us and made it a bit cooler it was still to hot to shower for children. The gentleman said no manager of accommodation is there at evening and won’t be there until tomorrow morning therefore it was impossible to fix in case any emergencies , which I found disappointing. Despite all he was very helpful and kind and it was not his fault , which was understandable. He attended to us and did his best helping.

The room size was plenty perfect. The pub finishes at 11 which means even on a busy night it's quiet by 12pm at the latest. Hot shower. Lovely comfy towels - home style not using the horrid stiff 'fake' towels. Fridge perfect size. Kettle perfect size . Really home away from home for comfortable getting your head down. Also no issues asking for more tea bags sugar etc. Tesco just next door. Nice comfortable distance from town. Rooms had what you needed. Nothing excessive. Having the extra lil oil heater in the lounge is great and easy to control. Telly yup easy to use and works. The pull out sofa beds in the lounge really comfy for sleeping and chilling. The boot tray by the door great addition. Check in and check out perfect. Price point is absolutely spot on really fair for what you are getting and the location and style of the property. It is the back of the pub so you book this with this in mind. It's safe. Clean. The pub itself is a lovely normal British pub.

The check out time if could be shifted to 11? But proper being picky with that.

All fine and good, typical family pub, a little noise until closing time completely expected especially in the summer! Although a strong fan notice outside was a constant notice don't think it was the pubs. Clean bed, loo shower and sink thats all I look for on a family night away at the cost, I hope the sand washed away from the shower in the end!? One question as a big family pub with accommodation why no food?? X

No food

The whole experience was amazing. The staff starting from Jenny, Jazz & Dan could not do enough for you and extremely friendly. The locals were just as good even down to the great couple giving some really exceptional cakes around just to invite you into a warm community spirit. The rooms were more than value for money and I can't wait to visit again soon. If you are worried that the town is just a little far to walk the taxi is a few pence over £5

Leaving.

It was lovely, clean ,friendly staff, so polite made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Only a short walk into town. It was the perfect location at an even better price.

The only downside I can honestly say was the drive up to the car park, we have a Mercedes AMG sports car and it’s quite low to the ground, There were lots of massive potholes could Potentially damage your car, but with a slow drive up the drive, it was manageable,

Lovely room (4) and excellent value for money; we stayed in the family room which was a good size with a nice bathroom with shower and the beds were really comfy. The landlord and staff very friendly and helpful. Good location with easy access to the beach and local areas. It was our first stay in Weymouth and will definitely stay there again and will also recommend to others that visit Weymouth. Thank you :)

No dislikes, just a couple of things that were not detrimental: -One of the curtains appeared to be missing or not wide enough in our room so we couldn't close fully at the window to the right of the front door. - Breakfast would be good if made available.
