Comfortable bed and very clean Excellent breakfast and evening meals Sirloin steak superb and great value for the money

Nothing to complain about,staff all very polite and helpful Only downside was the lack of heating in our room on arrival on Saturday which wasn’t rectified until arrival of manager on Monday morning Evidently heating is controlled by a single thermostat on the ground floor.suggest Green King look into installing a separate zone valve for the bedroom areas

Lovely hotel in Woburn. They have rooms in the main building or over the pub. The room are simply decorated but nice with all the necessities. The building is old so expect some cracking and uneven floors, which is also good ts charm. Breakfast is very good. Recommended

Make sure you ask for a room in the main building if you want some tranquility. I was there on some week days and the pub was closing at 11PM so it didn’t disturb me but it could be different if you go early to bed

We stayed at the The Bell for a couple of days for a wedding that was nearby and we had a fantastic stay. Beds were super comfy and the surrounding area was so quiet, I had a great nights sleep. Catherine at reception went above and beyond for us, she really made us feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us! The Bell pub was just across the road where we had breakfast (which was included) and dinner both nights we stayed. The food was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly at breakfast.

lovely friendly staff, very helpful and polite, including the kind staff running the pub over the road, the only issues were the outdatedness, the keys are a bit of a hassle when you're used to door locking behind you at hotels, the bathroom in the single rooms are very small not much space to move.. but the bed is very comfortable, I know its an older building but the plumbing is very loud I could hear other rooms a lot through the night. but overall it was fine x

Excellent location in a small pretty town, very convenient for access to Woburn Safari Park. Like the shops, eateries and park. Good food from Bell pub. Decent breakfast, very good smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, tasty risotto with sea bass and scallops, and belly pork for lunch.

Location of our room was not to our liking. Being in front of the building by the main road meant it was noisy from traffic. There was no ventilation in room so it was hot and stuffy.

Fabulous staff. Thank you to Janice & the lovely cleaning lady who helped us with our luggage. Just so kind. The room was definitely VFM.

The hotel exterior could do with a bit of a clean up to be honest. The dining area was a good size but it really needed a clean up, with dirty chairs and a general area of 'dismal'.

A lovely hotel with plenty of character and a small but well-equipped, comfortable and reasonably-priced room. It had pretty much everything we wanted for the stay, including free parking. We would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Nothing really. The room was on the small side but that wasn't a huge problem as it was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs.

Ideal location for us to catch up with family in the area. We enjoyed having a bite to eat and a couple of drinks in the public house opposite which is part of the chain. A lovely village , great parking facilities.

A little noisy on a night with traffic passing through as the room was next to a main road. We were surprised as it is a village and it was a bank holiday. However that cannot be helped.

The friendliness and helpfulness of staff, and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Our room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel directly next to the busy main road. There was only secondary double glazing that was ineffective against the constant traffic noise, which continued all day and throughout the night.

Really friendly helpful welcoming staff. Thanks for all your help, Catherine, and telling me the best place to park my motorcycle and giving me a room where I could see it from the window! Had everything I needed for a comfortable night's sleep at a great price in a gorgeous old hotel. Very quiet at night. Great service and excellent food in the restaurant too.
