We love Village Limits as it is conveniently close to where our family live when we visit. All of the rooms are first class but this time we were allocated a fabulous little suite which was amazing. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts come with exactly what you request and freshly cooked. We also had an evening meal there in their restaurant which was fantastic.

Nothing at all!!! If I need to be really picky and find a fault... It was a little bit untidy in the breakfast room with Christmas decorations on the floor, but they weren't in the way at all.

The breakfast offering was very comprehensive and freshly cooked to order. A wide selection of teas, coffees and cereals was available. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Coffee facilities were provided and the room was easily accessible from the car park.

We had been advised by email from Booking.com, the day before our arrival, that the restaurant was not available for evening meals during our stay. The proprietor informed us that this was not correct, but had been the case at the time of our booking. Consequently we had made arrangements to eat elsewhere before we commenced travelling.

Good sized room and bathroom (with bath tub). Warm. Comfy bed. Good TV. Parking immediately outside the room. Good breakfast. Very friendly cat!

For check-in when the pub isn't open (i.e. Mondays and Tuesdays) it could be made clearer via the email messages that check-in instructions to access the room will actually be sent via a message (and there is no point in ringing the number given as no-one will answer it). It took me 20mins of knocking on windows and making fruitless phone calls trying to raise someone before I saw that I had a Text Message which gave the room access instructions.

When we entered our room, we were very pleased with the layout, space and décor of the room and bathroom. The tea making facilities were ample, especially teabags; we usually find when we stay in B&B's there are never enough teabags as we do not drink coffee. The instructions for the television were great; usually we have difficulty tuning in or being able to use the tv; even the added bonus of free films to watch if we wanted to. The bed was very roomy and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, tasty and filling; the lady was very attentive to our needs and very quick and efficient. We did go into the bar area; it was very pleasant, welcoming and easy to relax in with lots of comfy chairs and sofas. We did think the cost of drinks was a bit steep but sometimes you have to expect this in smaller establishments, especially when they are in a more rural, quiet place away from immediate bars and restaurants. We will return and will recommend to our friends and family.

This is our second stay here as we found it so good last time. The room had air con and a mini fridge which was excellent. A good selection on the breakfast menu. The lady who served us breakfast was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Shower in great working order although it was an over-bath one and the bath was quite deep with no handles to grip on to. My twin bed seemed to be higher round the edges and dip in the middle. Unfortunately I could feel the springs digging in and had to try and lay around the edge to get comfortable. Would suggest that the car park has marked spaces as some of the guests clearly can’t park for toffee, leaving big spaces between cars but just not big enough to park another car.

The staff were friendly, helpful our room was room 2 , it was beautiful, home from home all you could want and more, definitely a lot of thought has gone into the decor and fixtures and fittings, we were very impressed, the restaurant was beautiful, food and drink was great, breakfast was exceptional the staff made us feel welcome, we can see why they won 4 in a bed, we will definitely come back here and also recommend it to friends and family, Stay here you will not regret it. We have stayed in a lot of places, and have not come across the quality of service and care they provide to their guests, lovely atmosphere, this would be hard to beat, also great value for money. 😆

Large comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room in a quiet location. The bathroom was a good size with an efficient shower. Breakfast was very tasty with a good menu choice. The staff were all very friendly.

The kettle was too large to fit under the bathroom tap. We had to fill the kettle with mugs of cold water. Also, an instruction notice on the bedroom wall glows in the dark so we had to face away from that wall to get to sleep. The accommodation is quite a way from the village. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the village and part of the route has no pavement.

I arrived after dark and the main building and trees in the grounds were tastefully illuminated with lights which made it easy to spot as I approached as well as making the exterior visually appealing, The room was clean and well decorated with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable and outside noise was not really noticeable. There was a good choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was freshly prepared to order. The owners were both very friendly and helpful, offering recommendations locally for places to eat as their restaurant was closed for refurbishment. A Winner of Channel 4's 4 in a bed.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff, but no food available at night which we really missed non on a Monday and Tuesday and limited amount the rest of the week. It would be probably best to state that you do not serve food at night, we are aged and really would prefer not to go looking for food at night.

Only thing that spoilt the room was no wardrobe! just some garage style adjustable metal racking!! which really spoilt a lovely decor and room appearance, what a shame as it was tastefully thought out

The room was lovely,very tastefully decorated and had all mod cons - everything you needed from full size bath to proper mugs for a hot drink. Full size TV on the wall with free up to date movies. The beds were very comfy and the cleanliness was spot on! All rooms face the car park where you have your own bistro table outside your door. The breakfast room is lovely and the tables are not on top of each other. Breakfast cooked to perfection 👌 by a very lovely lady The guys that own it are very friendly and nothing was too much bother
