Room, pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, Jane Street Breakfast and staff. All were very polite and helpful and one young girl waitress whom I didn’t catch the name of but had right pride colour umbrella earings was very professional in her manner and service. A credit to the hotel. 👍🏻

Cant say there’s anything I didn’t like. A small hicup with the booking process information but I understand there was some changes to the system which may have caused it. It cost me £39 extra but still worth it.

it’s lovely and well kept up. we stayed in a suite which was newly refurbished, which was really nice. It was nice to use the gym, swimming pool and sauna etc. The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and well organised. Also breakfast in the bistro was one of the best breakfast we ever had anywhere. Many thanks to the chef.

No problem with the actual hotel, just had a few issues getting something to eat out of restaurant hours. However the night porter sorted that small problem out for us. much appreciated.

Swimming pool and leisure facilities were great. Lovely warm pool and hot jacuzzi. Dated gym but clean and useable. Room lovely size and very comfortable bed. Fantastic rainfall shower with large bath. Comfortable temperature in room and although on busy road not too much traffic noise. Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Robes for in room and nice toiletries provided. Will definitely stay again.

No complimentary port and shortbread as stipulated which was disappointing. Only one robe and towel in room but was rectified immediately with correct number.

Food exceeded expectations both for dinner and breakfast. Staff were friendly, accommodating and took a genuine interest. Rooms are clean and have little extras such as ear plugs and sewing set if needed.

Shower temperature temperamental it ended up either freezer or boiling. The odd water mark on the walls/ceiling in room but it seems like that the hotel is in the progress of decorating.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, and are so friendly. Thanks Tracey. Sauna and pool were a big bonus, and really helped the work trip not feel too much like work. Breakfast menu is really good and great buffet selection with lovely waiters.

A little revamp of decor would bring the standards right up and match the asking price of the rooms.

The location was brilliant and enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Appreciated the free parking and free breakfast on a morning, saved me time and money. The food especially on an evening was amazing , the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

The rooms weren’t cleaned daily, the bins in the bathroom weren’t emptied daily for the price they charge, it’s not very good coming back to the same beddings that just got remade and dirty bins.

Nice hotel in a good central location. The swimming pool was a very good size and was set in very pleasant surroundings. Breakfast was very good, though service was a little bit slow. Room was very clean and well equipped with a very comfortable bed.

Hotel's on-site car park was closed during our stay. The hotel's other car park is a short walk away, across a very busy road, and has quite tight parking spaces.

Staff friendley , the room & bathroom very clean and tidy , I Sleeped very well , no problems Parking and no problems with noise , apart form the breakast every thing was veay good .

the breakfast was very poor , I only had breakfast on the 1st day , 2nd day I found a McDonaild's .

the hotel was immaculately clean. the staff were so helpful and nothing was a trouble for them. the rooms were spotless beds were so comfortable. bathroom was so clean no faults were found at all the food was delicious fresh cooked and not cheap produce at all. the swimming was great they also have jacuzzi and sauna room

you are right next to the centre which was good and not far from the Lake District

The Washington Hotel is excellent. Comfy rooms, great WiFi, excellent breakfast and exceptional evening meals. The staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you whilst staying at the hotel. Would highly recommend to friends, family and work colleges .
