Room was great; it was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Internet worked well. Location was convenient to I-65. The staff was very accommodating.

The air conditioning seemed to be on a 5 minute cycle. We set the thermostat low and had to lower it even more, but no matter what we did, the AC seemed to be on 5 minute cycle where it would come on for 5 minutes, go off for 5 minutes, come back on for 5 minutes (no matter how low we set the thermostat). As a result, the room cooled a little, but not enough for us. We stayed in mid-April when the outside temp was 75-80, so this could be a problem in July/August when the outside temps are much higher.

I believe there was a non-guest who came in and served herself to several breakfast items and then left with at least two plates of breakfast items. Was in a wheel chair, dirty, nasty clothing and pretending to talk on a cell phone the entire time she was in the food service area. This person was apparently homeless because I saw her about 35 minutes later further down the street begging at the next intersection with a sign of some sort. Very poor security in lobby/food area!

The pool was the PERFECT temperature, the facilities are beautiful and very clean, the location is super convenient right off the freeway, and the breakfast was fabulous! They had waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and juice / coffee / hot chocolate / tea. There is also LOTS of parking that is free to guests. They also had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the rooms! And the bed is super comfortable.

Wish there was a hot tub in addition to the pool.

I've seen multiple "bad" reviews for this property, but it is a quality pet friendly hotel. We stayed twice in August travelling to/from our vacation spot and I booked this hotel specifically for the way home. The first time was a random find. Breakfast and coffee were good and the hotel has had a recent remodel that included laminate flooring which I prefer when dogs are involved and the cost was defintitely attractive.

The staff was very friendly, they helped us out a great deal when we checked in. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Arbys and felt like a safe location.

Although the staff was super helpful, we were bothered multiple times before checking out by knocks at the door from housekeeping. We let them know around 10am that we were good and they knocked 4 more times between 10-11 am, we felt rushed to leave. they don’t have do not disturb door hangers. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest, old eggs and sausage was fine.

I think putting advertising in the elevator to show some restaurants or local attractions.Someone in one of the other rooms was smoking Skunk weed which stinks so bad.

The breakfast was exceptional. The room was spotless clean and the staff was so very friendly. This is the 2nd time we've used this facility while traveling to Birmingham. It is close to restaurants and the University hospital.

Everything was great. Can't think of one thing I would change to make it better.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the towels felt rough even though they were clean. The staff were verry professional.

They had a nice breakfast set up, but I'm not a pork eater, all the meat was pork. Suggest placing chicken or turkey bacon/sausages along with the pork products.

Location, cleanliness, and breakfast were excellent! They were renovating everything, so it was on the way to getting even better.

The A/C didn’t work well and there were loud guests in the hallway late at night and early in the morning.

Room was very nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. My family loves making their own waffles when we travel. We were going to swim but it decided to rain.

The only thing I didn't like is the fact that when we would go out to unload our vehicle or when we loaded back up, one of our door cards stopped working. Cars were broken into over night as well.
