The staff are ALWAYS smiling, friendly and very helpful! We were in town to attend a concert at the MPAC and we always stay here because it is very convenient, VERY CLEAN and inviting. The rooms are always clean, well stocked and the bed/pillows are so very comfortable. I didn't eat breakfast as I chose to sleep in but my husband did and he really enjoyed it. There is a very good selection of food options to choose from. We will definitely stay here again!!

The friendliness of every employee we saw and met was absolutely outstanding! I am so very thankful for the warm reception and caring attitude of the staff.

The lack of refrigerator in the room was disappointing, and I have learned from the experience. Perhaps we are spoiled, but it is really an expectation to have a way to keep food and drinks cold. It would be even better to have a microwave, but the fridge is a must.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast fare, but we appreciate that! Room and facilities were in good repair. Room was very clean. For enjoying and touring Montgomery, the hotel's location was outstanding, central to everything. Historic feel to the building but with current furnishings inside

Room refrigerator - they didn't have one; such are very helpful when we travel Parking - we needed to use valet parking (extra $29). On-street parking seemed reasonably safe with police presence, but we did not feel it adequate for what we kept in our car.

Everything was just great! Location is central, the lobby is wonderful with many things to see (old switchboard center and vintage elevator layout), the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, they made our stay a treat. The room was just perfect, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was big and very comfortable and there was a small living area. The real treat was a little kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink, cabinets, coffee machine etc. Breakfast was great in variety and portions. Definitely a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to feel like royals.

There is no free parking, only quite pricey valet one. However there are other parking possibilities in the area, so not a huge issue, even if you come by car.

The staff were very friendly.

They didn’t have enough staff to have the room ready on time. When we did get in the room we were left with a dirty towel from a previous guest and no toilet roll. The bed was so old that when you lay on it your head was higher than your feet and every time you got out of bed it squeaked. The property is very old. Our room had peeling paint and rotten windows. Shower was either cold or scalding hot. We did report things and the reception staff said they would make a note of it.

Location,value, and facilities were outstanding. Had no real issues. Breakfast was super delicious. Great friendly staff. Definitely recommend staying for downtown activities.

Valet parking is too pricey ! No other hotel parking options were available. Parking options were street or paid parking deck. We were blessed to have free weekend parking on the street without feeding the meter during the weekend. Sofa in the room was NOT comfy at all.

Location. Staff and a special recognition of Andre on the evening shift. Breakfast staff and valet worked hard and all were hospitable and accommodating.

The facility has obviously seen better days. One elevator working. Rooms look tired. Paint peeling. TV not working. A real disappointment.

the front desk staff Vanessa is absolutely amazing welcoming and makes you feel comfortable at home welcome and appreciated the valet staff is absolutely amazing also so helpful and polite the breakfast was very good lots of choices and very tasty

I guess if I had to not like something the view from window of our room was just of air conditioning units not hotel fault not a big problem would be kinda cool on those windows to paint a Montgomery skyline on lower part but not a big deal

Breakfast was great! Lots of choices to eat. Staff was always very nice and helpful. Valet service staff were excellent especially Paul! Location was great, easy walk to restaurants. Love the shampoo and conditioner and body wash dispensers!!

Room had quite a bit of dust buildup on the floors next to where the floor meets the wall. Not a huge deal but noticed it when putting luggage down.

Great location in downtown Montgomery, near restaurants and bars and river front. Staff was friendly and we had a clean and spacious room. They offered a free hot breakfast too. Montgomery turned out to be much livelier in the weekend then expected.
