When we are passing by Tuscaloosa on I20 by car, we always choose to stay at this Embassy Suites downtown. Easy to get to, clean and safe. Excellent breakfast included (we like those employees preparing and serving breakfast, always friendly!). Room is split into three (combo kitchen, living room, bedroom and en suite bathroom. Very spacious for a couple.

When checking in this time, there was a group of four ladies checking in ahead of us. They monopolized the single registrar for an inordinate amount of time over what we considered to be fuss budget issues. Registrar should have either called for assistance or not allowed the ladies to monopolize him for so long.

This hotel was spotlessly clean. Upon arrival, the lady was amazing. (I am sorry I didn’t get her name) I was able to check into the room early as the room was ready and this helped so much after a long morning of travelling. I was provided with information about things to do in the area which was perfect. I love to travel the world and go to different places. But if someone was to ask me if they should stay here. I would definitely say yes!

Staff, location, amenities, breakfast included, cocktail hour! Stephen at the front desk got our visit started off right. We arrived a little early and he was able to get us in a room earlier than expected. He gave us all the hotel information about breakfast, cocktail hour, and restaurant. Once we were settled in our room we received a text to make sure we had everything we needed. Great service!

The facility was very clean and in close proximity to dining options. We walked to our dinner choice. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The bed and pillows were super comfy!! Best sleep I've had in weeks. Breakfast was delicious and had many options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The only negative I would even bother to mention would be the amount of chlorine in the pool. Being indoors, your eyes burn from the chemicals. The kids didn't seem to notice when they were in the pool, but sitting around the pool, it was pretty strong. Honestly, that was not even a major issue. The door was opened, and an adult sat nearby to monitor it.

My husband and I are in our late 70's so we have stayed in many hotels but this was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Free breakfast buffet included which was awesome, there was even an omelet station. We enjoyed a free reception that included wine and beer and appetizers. Loved the restaurant where we were treated like royalty and served by Andrea and Dillon who were so friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar was beautiful and food was excellent. The front desk person, Ondre, was amazing and also very friendly and helpful. Loved the room with a separate living area adjoining the bedroom. Everything was exceptionally clean and all the staff were always smiling, and greeting us. We honestly felt like VIP's. Loved the beautiful lobby area. This hotel was within a mile of the University of Alabama and convenient to any shopping you might need. We come to Tuscaloosa often because our grandson is attending the University there. This will be our go-to Hotel from now on.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was beyond our expectations. At every other there was always something I didn't like but I couldn't find anything at this hotel. This was our best hotel experience ever!

The property is beautiful and you can walk to several restaurants and shops by just crossing the street. This is a GREAT location. We were there to visit the university and it was literally a 5 minute drive. The sink in the bathroom was slow and i mentioned it when they texted me to see how everything was. I wasn’t expecting anything, just said it, no biggie; when we got back, it was FIXED. The chamber maids, front desk, culinary team- all of them were so pleasant and helpful. I didn’t want to leave!

ATM and pool were out of order.

Great location, clean, friendly, knowledgeable staff. The breakfast was 10+++ great selection and the most hospitable staff. We loved the young man who made my omelette, perfection!

That they locked the side door that clearly stated they would remain unlocked until 11pm. So I had to walk in the rain all the way from the back.

I love the facility as a whole. I loved the location. I loved that it was right in the middle of town, close to restaurants and the college.

Our shower curtain wasn’t washed from the previous stay because it had dirt stains in it. I hand washed it myself so it could be clean for my family and I.

We loved everything about it minus parking and the menu choices and the restaurant. The room was amazing, perfect separation of room and sitting space for the needed studying and sleep needed. The nightly cocktail hour and staff were so courteous and pleasant. Overall a wonderful place. We will be back soon.

It was centrally located to main little area with restaurants and bars. There was plenty of parking. My room was clean and snacks like: goldfish, snickers, sun chips, skittles, water, perrier, etc were awaiting me on the counter and in the mini fridge as a VIP perk. The breakfast dining area was clean and had plenty of seating.

There were no negatives points in my stay.
