The room was spacious and the linens and pillows were lovely. The bathroom had plenty of room to put cosmetics etc. The shower was large and tiled in nice tile. The room also had an eating area and a writing desk. We have traveled extensively and this room was one of the nicest ever. It even had a white noise machine which we bought when we came home. Many places for excellent dining nearby. ❤️

The only negatives were the toilet was extremely short and there were no safety bars in the shower. My husband and I are over 70 and felt the room could have been a bit safer for the elderly.

We absolutely loved the staff. All so friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our air conditioner and it was remedied quite fast. The pool was cold even though it said that you keep it at 82* but we just hung out with our feet in. We hung around the front by the fire at night and played cards. It was just so much fun we got a scone and coffee in the morning from Crema and took off after that. Extremely pleasant stay.

The pool closed early but I understand why. It’s tucked between 2 cottages

Tavern hotel was nice and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Great customer service. Walking distance to downtown cottonwood.

Walls were very thin we could hear everything outside. The sound box they had in the room helped wonders. But I would recommend staying on the top floor. We could hear the person upstairs walking very heavy and loud back and forth. And in the middle of the night it woke us up. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The entire property, staff and rooms exceeded my expectations by far. Absolute 5 star. i will be our new found getaway. Food at the Tavern Grille was again a solid 10 out of 10.

The only issue we had was a weird sound coming from the mini split about every 5 minutes. was kind of distracting while sleeping. Did not address it till check out. Management stated they will address immediately. We stayed in a Junior King Suite. I think we will try the regular king room since they have patios. Sitting outside would have been great.

a very chic hotel, best location with super friendly and helpful staff. The room had a decent sized fridge and a nice balcony. the hotel offered vouchers for breakfast in a very good cafe, but 5$ was a bit mean for one.

for coffee drinkers there was a coffee machine in the room, but no kettle could be provided for tea drinkers. There was no room safe available.

The property is centrally located on the Main Street in downtown Cottonwood. It’s absolutely the nicest boutique hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Updated decor, exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed, high-end amenities, quiet, lots of free parking, extremely friendly and helpful staff, elevator for easy access to 2nd floor rooms with luggage. Really appreciate the attention to every detail to help their guests feel comfortable.

We like everything about The Tavern Inn and will definitely return.

The location is in the Old Town district and has a super cute street lined with neat shops and restaurants. The hotel has great free parking in the back or front. The room is incredible! Super clean and styled beautifully! You get free bottles of water too! There is a cool fire pit out front with comfy chairs. The restaurant next door has a cool modern yet rustic vibe that is a great place for dinner, an app or just a cocktail (1 free if you book directly). Breakfast is at Crema across the street. You can get a free continental breakfast or $5 off any menu item. I didn’t get the continental one because the other items looked sooooo yummy! Staff at the hotel and Crema are super friendly too!

I kept having issues with my room keys (they just stopped working 2x!). The front desk staff were very helpful with fixing it.

The location was perfect for our trip to ride the Verde Canyon Railroad. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The spacious walk-in shower was an unexpected luxury.

"Breakfast included" isn't really accurate. What you get is a voucher for a roll and coffee or a $5 discount at a cafe across the street. Our breakfast was excellent, however.

Nice and comfortable room, nicely decorated with original details, we got upgraded to a suite which had a desk, table and stools and a sofa. the bed was great, good bathroom. you get a free continental breakfast across the street but thats just a coffee or juice and a pastry so you end up ordering from the breakfast menu with 5 dollar discount, which is fine. it's small and it was quite crowded so many people had to come back later; we got lucky and immediately got a table around 9 am. Food was very good, and so was the coffee!

Great location and easy access to old town's main street. Enjoyed breakfast and the balcony for the warm sun. Clean and cozy new rooms with upgraded amenities.

Noisy neighbors in a room near us, smoking weed with their sliding door open until well into the night. We had to leave the balcony and close our own door. The dumpsters being emptied at 330am Saturday morning, right outside the hotel's front door, was an early wakeup call. Ask for a room on the other side of the hotel to avoid noise from the main street/dumpster in the back of The Tavern Grille.
