Really nice spacious well appointed rooms. We arrived on a very snowy night on a cross country drive. Lobby is warm and welcoming. Front desk staff the next morning were very helpful directing us in view of snow and ice.

It’s right next to 1-40. However rooms are well soundproofed. That was actually convenient though coming in during a snowstorm.

Everything! Wonderful staff, like our waiter for 3 meals, John. We loved him. He was why we kept going back to the Silvery Pine restaurant. And the food. The food was incredible. Also, Gabby, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our weekend the best stay we've had in a long time. I would have given all 5's in my ratings, except that the first room we checked into had an area that hadn't been cleaned since the last guests. And what was dirty was a really bad thing. However, Gabby took perfect care of it for us. We love this property. We will go back again.

Just that an area had been missed by housekeeping.

I liked the quirky mod-century modern feel & decor of the hotel. Landscaping on the grounds was beautiful. Room was attractive and comfortable. Having on-site restaurant was convenient.

I was surprised there was no way to secure/deadlock the door from inside, as is standard with most hotels. In other words, even when guest is inside room, maybe sleeping, anyone with a room key/master key can enter the room AT ANY TIME. This is a deal breaker for me, such that if I had known about this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked this hotel. This is not a high expense item to install on each door, and I encourage the hotel to make this update for optimal security of your guests.

We love to stay at this hotel - it is always clean and comfortable, nicely decorated with great beddings, good-sized desk with two chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee machine. I really liked the new bathroom design two sink areas and back lit mirrors. (Poorly lit bathrooms are the worst for contact lenses and make-up.) We really enjoy their private Ponderosa Pine forest nature walk every morning! We didn't use the restaurant or the pool this stay. We will stay again. Staff are quick and friendly.

I wish that there was a freezer in the mini-fridge for ice packs, etc. We did use ice in our cooler instead, from the ice machine, however I would have preferred a mini freezer.

Stayed for 2 days on a weekend ski trip. The restaurant was good, but overpriced. Service was really good and quick. Dinner/food the first night was outstanding! Second night, not as good yet one of the items ordered was same as night before. Consistency at the Chef level/different Chef and or crew made a lot of difference from night to night. Would have been nice if bar was open passed 9pm too. Seemed like a lot of the night life in Flag closed early...weird for a college city. Room was great. Nice and roomy, clean and quiet. Big shower and bathroom area. Bed was comfortable, but the down type pillows gotta go, way too soft. Parking was good, easy access to our lodge. I would stay again (and as a matter of fact, I did a week later on a solo trip). Complaints were minor and whatever issues we had were addressed and corrected as best possible.

Management, please put stickers or something on the inside of the doors telling people to close the door, don't let it slam. I realize most people absolutely do not have common courtesy, but a sticker on the door may help them not to be rude and shut the door instead of letting it slam, this goes for the staff stocking rooms/closets as well. No one wants to hear a door slamming at 0600 or any other time for that matter.

the property is well designed, well maintained. I loved that in the back it has excellent forest with well maintained and mapped trails. the food and service in the dining room were very good.

the location is a bit awkward near highways and gas station but the forest and hike made up for it. and the windows were well insulated not to hear any noise. the room was clean, tho I found wrappers on the floor of the bedroom and contact lense left on the nightstand, which made me think some surfaces were not touched between guests. however that seems the case in a lot of hotels nowadays.

the property was clean and very well appropriated. small details were thought through. we asked for connecting rooms because we were celebrating my daughters 13th birthday and she brought 4 of her friends. we wanted connecting rooms and have had a really hard time in the past. they were waiting for us to check in with balloons for my daughter and our rooms were perfection! plenary of space for us all, gorgeous Decor and my daughter felt special amazing attention to every detail! room beds comfortable and clean. drawers do not slam , best bathrooms we have seen anywhere with space and privacy when wanted.

our key cards didn’t work after we came back from dinner and when I had to go out to our vehicle. the lobby was very far away so we didn’t go report it as it was late. jacuzzi was full the entire time we were there so we never go to go but it looked nice. parking spaces were full after dinner had to park far away from our room and move the car the next morning.

The rooms were very large and the bathrooms had two sinks--one where the shower and toilet were and one outside that. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We loved the hiking trails--they were even nice for our 90+ year old parents and nice for younger more active people. The setting among the pine forest couldn't be nicer. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant had a nice view.

It was VERY difficult to open our sliding patio door and we couldn't open the one in the second room we had.

Room was very spacious and very clean. We had a corner unit and the lighting and view were awesome. Only two floors to each building which made the property look quaint. Visited the gift shop and they had a lot of unique items. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool and hot tub; but I could imagine when warmer, the scenery surrounding those amenities would be very comforting and beautiful to be in. Wonderful place to stay & can't wait to visit again!

The restaurant was a little bit too pricey for us, but did look very nice. Opted instead to have dinner & breakfast off the property.

My sister and I stay at this establishment everytime we come up to Flag. The staff is amazing and they even remember us when we come back, We love that. The outdoor area outback is our fave and this time we got to see all of the Christmas light and they were stunning. We even built a snow man and did a snowy hike out back. We will always stay here when in Flag they are the best.

This time around our room was incredibly expensive so that was not the best. We know it was because of the limited time the lights are up but WOW. Also the pillows here do not hold thier shape and so they do not support our necks. We always have to bring our own pillows from home. Last thing...there was a storm warning the next day and we chose to not say the second night to get down to Phoenix safley. Of course they did not provide a refund for that. I know it is not anyone's fault really....but it would have been nice since we stay there a lot if the hotel would have offered something in the way of compensation. Drink tickets, a free meal next time we stay ...something.
