Staff (front desk, Upstairs bartender, & last but not least the manager) superb attitudes. Extremely, extremely helpful. I was there to get married to my wife and she needed a different room, extended late checkout amongst other things. They accommodated without hesitation and without knowledge of our big day. We actually had a room at the monte vista as well. Which we’ve stayed at frequently. If we had explored our options sooner, We would never have stayed at the monte vista. (Fyi their staff has been horrible for years). AZ local approved!

The question “what didn’t we like?”. I hate the fact it took me years to stay at this awesome hotel. Could be a fluke of a great experience but our stress level was high and to not have had an issue, speaks volumes IMO.

The Weatherford Hotel was such a cool hotel. We loved the charm and classic feel of the place, which, as a 120 year old property, is probably what they were going for. The staff was friendly, the location in downtown was close to everything, and they had live music every night. The room wasn't terribly large, but super cozy, it looked like the bathrooms were add-ons to the standard rooms at one point, but perfectly fine for us and probably luxurious for guests out west in 1897. It was Summer so we didn't get to experience the old radiator heaters popping in the rooms. All in all, if you can get around no elevators, floors that creak underfoot, and rooms that aren't condo sized, then give the Weatherford a look. We're glad we did.

Our only issue was the limited parking, however, given it's location downtown and the age of the property, we understood the challenge the hotel has with cars.

The Hotel is definitely in the middle of everything. We liked the fact that there were many restaurants and breweries within walking distance. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing out toward the street. We were warned that the Hotel itself could be noisy with music as there are three pubs on the premises. However, it was not terribly loud and stopped before midnight.

Our room is not for the handcapped. Has a rather high bed and the mattress was very firm. The bathroom had a clawfoot old fashioned tub with shower. Very light on amenities - toiletries and hair blow dryer. That's it. Parking is available behind the hotel however we were only able to park there one night out of the 3 nights we were there as it being full. Oh well.

The room was larger than expected with comfortable furnishings. Location in town made for wonderful walking so a car could easily stay parked. The three bars and restaurants were fun and lively with music and/or pool tables/dart boards. Staff were all kind and helpful--thank you to all of you!

This really isn't a negative--just a caveat--be prepared for stairs. We had no issues with them :)

I loves the old history being preserved! such a neat spot! location was fantastic, walkable to everything. the staff was fantastic. we loved all four bars that were on/in the property! such a cute little spot

room was small, would have liked a queen bed, but that comes with preserving historic buildings, so not really a big deal. parking in back can be a bit limited, but luckily had no issues.

the uniqueness of staying in a historical property is so special. staff was very helpful and location perfect in historical downtown. We parked on arrival and never drive again- walked or ride bikes everywhere.

there is a little bit of effort with no lift and a room on the 2nd floor and the balcony bar on the third but that’s to be expected with a stay in an old hotel

Fantastic customer service, the staff members were all very warm and welcoming and seemed genuinely invested in the quality of our experience. Absolutely loved the location in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. Can’t beat the charm of the hotel and its history.

Very tiny bathroom, although that was not surprising and honestly part of the charm.

I love the 1920 theme…..

the windows and mirrors in the Zane grey ballroom were dirty and that was disappointing due to picture quality for the wedding we were attending. Also I think you can do a better job of staying with the theme as you modernize… we loved the theme but disappointed that Radom pieces of furniture were modern (bathroom vanity)

Bed was very comfy, excellent water pressure in shower, there was a nice chair to put stuff on and the decore was charming. The staff were very very nice and helpful. I was there on a Sunday night and had no problem with street noise or noise from the club. Based on other reviews, I would not have stayed here on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday because I go to sleep around 11 p.m. and the music would have been loud.

The temperature in my room was a little warm. None of the staff were wearing masks. This was early December 2021 and I wore my mask and would have felt more comfortable if the staff was also masked.

Celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary there. Outstanding staff. Great food. Wonderful location to walk around the town.

The ac unit was noisy at startup. Solved that by switching to just air only. Minor issue. Sorry about the photo of the wallpaper. It looked like the wallpaper in Willie Wonka! No, I didn't lick the wall!
