The rooms were quaint and not in a bad way. The overall theming of the inn was nice. For less than 100 dollars i dont have much negatives to say. The room was spacious (moreso than most with similar prices or even a bit higher) the beds were comfortable. They even let the ac run so the room was comfortable when we arrived

I only have 3 things to say negative. Two of which isnt on the hotel itself 1. The wifi was weak, i had better signal just using my phone data. 2. The ac unit seems a bit blocked due to where it is. We had to turn it all the way down to keep the room cool. 3. This last bit is 100% NOT the hotel's fault. The app says there is breakfast included. That is not the case. Again no the fault of the hotel.

It's really cool to stay at a motel on the Historic Route 66. Brad's is also a family-run motel so it feels homey. Jody is very friendly and makes sure you're happy with your stay.

On the night of my stay, the owner family had to dog sit, so there was constant barking throughout the night. It made it very difficult to sleep. The curtains also didn't block light, so I had trouble sleeping because of that too. But those were personal issues so if you're fine with light and noise, that'd totally be fine! They also provide ear plugs at the reception. I had let Jody know of this situation and she kindly offered me a 10% off to compensate for the inconvenience. I thought that was really nice of the motel to do that!

We stayed in Room 15 on 10/21/2023; $83.10 for the night. Since the property is on Route 66, it’s also right next to the train tracks – we find train noise charming, but others apparently don’t because there’s a note on the mailbox that they can’t control the trains. The room was adorable cinderblock with super cold air conditioning. The room actually had a working ceiling fan (first in all my travels), handheld shower head (YES!) and actual bathroom rug! We were thrilled to find a working ROKU! The beds were fantastic, soft homey bedding. All the linens, towels and rugs were residential finishes, as was the toilet seat. The room had coffee, microwave and a fridge. Loved it and will 100% stay again! Grade A.

Rooms are super cute

The dude who was on shift during checkout was rude and took over 15 min to come to the front despite ringing the bell and calling the number as instructed by the sign on the door. When he comes out he goes "you just put the key in the box outside" like I'm stupid for not seeing the box. I double checked, there was no sign saying that was the checkout procedure. The sign on the door said to ring the bell on the desk and listed a number to call.

We were so comfortable at this cozy retro motel on Route 66! Our room was very clean, with a comfy bed with nice bedding in a decent size room (for a vintage motel), with AC, TV and wifi! The bathroom shower has good water pressure. The distant sound of the train was very nostalgic for my husband and I, both of our grandparents lived next to RR tracks, so it brought back good memories for us. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the other guests were quiet and friendly as well. Take time to learn about the history of this town, it is fascinating. The town has survived through Eisenhower’s Transport Act, which routed traffic away from Route 66, and more recently, the Pandemic, it appears took a toll on the economic viability of some of the businesses too. The locals seem very resilient and are some of the friendliest you will find anywhere. It was a short 20 minutes to the Petrified Forest. We definitely will stay again next time we pass through, and you should too! See you again, Holbrook and Brad’s Desert Inn! Best to you all!

It seemed the AC filter in our room needs to be replaced. The number of electrical outlets in vintage accommodations for modern travelers can be challenging we have discovered.

This was a great find. Yes its close to the railroad track and trains do run through the night but it’s likely you’ll hear the trains wherever you are on Route 66. It was in a great location with some restaurants nearby and a Safeway along the street. The town was just what we expected. Great museum. The hotel was very clean, beds comfortable, staff brilliant. Enjoyed our stay and would do so again.

Not the property’s fault but we were unable to turn the volume down on our tv so rather than disturbing nextdoor guests decided to play cards instead. Might be handy to explain this to us coming from outside the country. 😊

Very clean room. Great host! Jodie was excellent and a very helpful host. Was actually excellent in her restaurant suggestions. One was even walking distance. Not much around anymore but it truly is a classic Route 66 motel! Makes it worth it right there. About 25 miles to Painted Desert and National Petrified Forest, which was reason we stayed there. I am also a lover of Route 66! Hopefully Holbrook feels the effects of this, as we also went to Williams and Winslow Arizona. Very nice stop for us, much better than chains for a place just to sleep.

More sugar and coffee in the room.

This is a very old hotel that goes back to the days of Route 66. Not much has been done in terms of renovation but the interior decoration is unique and entertaining. The experience is great as long as you know what you are getting into.

Couldn't adjust the air conditioning. It was too cold and the fan was too strong. Fortunately, it cools of at night and I could turn the air off.

It was colorful cute and sparkling clean. When we arrived the first thing we noticed when we opened our door was the pleasant smell of clean. The room was lovely the bathroom was completely new with nice walk in tile shower. I felt lucky to have found such a great place for the price.

While some people might not like the trains nearby we had no issues at all. Kinda liked it !

Brad's Desert Inn, Holbrook was an ideal spot in transit from the Grand Canyon area to the south. The checkin was lovely, with help and advice given on future travel plans. The room was quiet and comfortable. The WiFi worked well.

All was well. An electric kettle would have been great, but the universal though unhelpful coffee maker sits there instead.
