Nice, big room with a great view of the BNSF railroad. It a get a little loud so, if you're not into trains, it might not be the place for you. Personally, I LOVE em so it was great! The owners are very nice people and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. We were there for the Route 66 Fun Run (and car show).

This is a retro motel - it used to be a travel lodge. It's Route 66! I WISH the owners would stay true to the heritage. Their remodel is trying to modernize (but, thankfully, the city will only let them do so much to the outside). I know that can be hard to do sometimes and still keep it functional but, like I said, it's Route 66. I'm not sure the owners really understand the significance. It's a great place to stay for a great place but, as far as the rooms are concerned, there's nothing really "Route 66-ee" about it.

The bed was soft, but comfortable. The pillow gave support to your head. The shower was basic but appeared to be new--nice tile on walls and floor. The shower head was great--all the jets worked and were not clogged with calcium. The water pressure was just right and the controls were simple and intuitive. The small fridge was cold and the ice portion was able to freeze a bottle of water. The heater worked well and the fan was like "white noise" that muffled the trains that went by every couple hours. The toilet looked new and clean and the sink faucet got hot water rather quickly. Same with the shower hot water.

The coffee maker could have been cleaner and the coffee brand wasn't very good. The bathroom was at the opposite end of the room and unless the door was left open, it got quite cold. However, there was a street light outside the motel and the light came in through the bathroom window too much to sleep necessitating closing the door.

The room was very clean. Air conditioning was grate, small but nice. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly! Bed was very comfortabble. For the price I would most certainly stay there again as the room amenities, bed, the room's cleanliness and comfort were just what I look for in a stay of just 1 or a very few nights. The hotel was quite close to an up and coming section of what I would call "Old Kingman" off Historic Route 66. there were restaurants, small stores and funky boutiques, a park, the high school, akk within a short walk, if you are able and so inclined. All told, I would stay there again.

Air conditioner was somewhat noisy, but it helped mask the noise from the nearby trains that came through at regular intervals. We were told that our room had not been remodeled yet, but it looked very well kept and was a pleasant place to stay the night.

This is an older property but the owners have done a very good job of modernizing the rooms as much as possible. The bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. Even a walk-in closet. It is a little off-putting when you check in and see signs about "no cooking in rooms" and "no pets", but I spoke at some length with one of the owners and apparently they have had a lot of trouble with guests damaging the furniture by setting up actual cooking equipment. They don't charge enough to cover those kinds of costs. Even though a main line of the BNSF railroad is right across the highway, I never heard any noise from trains. Incidentally, their soft drink machine is a real bargain - only 75 cents for canned drinks.

At this price this hotel is perfect for an overnight stop. It is roughly midway between Reno and Albuquerque which while can be done in a single leg at roughly 14 hours it is inadvisable. I wouldn't pay much more to simply have a bed to sleep in for the night but at the price it was perfect.

Better instructions on checking out. I arrived late and left early so I had to wake the owner to return my keys. For the life of me I couldn't find the drop box marked clearly anywhere.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was ready on time, and was clean and had all the basics. Fridge, microwave, comfortable bed. Even the in-room coffee wasn't bad. Parking was easy and I had a very good night's sleep. The occasional train passing by didn't make a difference. Overall it's slightly dated (so is all of Kingman), but run efficiently and I would recommend to all.

I had to turn on the air conditioner and it took a while for the room to cool down, but in all fairness, it is summer in the desert.

Typical 1950’s motel room - not big but ok for an overnight stay. The room was clean with updated furnishings. Bathroom tiny but it was clean.

Towels were very small. I didn’t mind but some might like it being so close to the railway line and freight trains throughout the night.

Owners have made considerable effort over many years to create a clean and well maintained accommodation, which they obviously take pride in.

A disadvantage of this property is having trains pass by across the street. However, the owners have addressed this noise problem by installing double-pane windows and solid core doors. One of many nice improvements.

Owners are friendly and seem to work hard. Very clean and nice inside and hot shower. Window in bathroom for good air flow and ventilation. For the price, it simply cannot be beat! Highly recommend for an awesome budget stay.

Only complaint would be the location. It’s off the road and you can hear the traffic, but it was fine for me with good silicone earplugs.

It was only an overnight stay on the way to the Grand Canyon! The receptionist was of sub continent India 🇮🇳, the smell of the curry 🍛 cooking made me droll! Took a photo of the Rambling Rose vinyl record on the reception wall! It is on the famous Route 66!

Didn't have time, got it later than I thought and an early start to the Grand Canyon and the town of Page.
