What an absolutely amazing place to stay. Right in the middle of nowhere amongst some incredible scenery, the room was so comfortable. Best nights sleep we had in ages. Jack the manager was really welcoming and served us some tasty beers which were not over priced. We had use of the spotlessly clean communal kitchen. The property is set on 10 acres of land at the bottom of the mountains and there are plenty of activities for guests to take part in. My husband and I have been on a road trip from the UK to the US for three years in a row and this is by far one of the best places we have stayed in. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and really welcoming. We were only here for one night but wish we stayed for longer. We will be back to this very traditional place.

Loved it all.

Lee’s Ferry Lodge is a step back in time. It’s the perfect location if you want to Kayak The Colorado”, with the same named company operating from the Lodge - see Tim, he will get you up the river. The property is a beautiful oasis, straight out of a western movie. The rooms were neat, clean and with decor to match the exterior of this historical trading post. Although there was no fridge and tv, this is clearly outlined and allows guests to embrace the natural environment and enjoy a clamping style stay - the ice and drinks at the bar help with this.

The wifi drops out occasionally, but that’s to be expected in such a remote location.

We stayed at Lee's Ferry Lodge for 2 nights. It is exactly like the description says. It is a rustic motel. We learned that the building we stayed in was over 100 years old. The room does not have a tv or refrigerator, but it does have air conditioning. I didn't mind not having a tv because I really wanted to sit outside and talk with my friends and look at the views. Not having a refrigerator was not really a problem either. Just buy a cooler and fill it with ice. They provide all the ice you want for free to keep your beverages cold in the cooler. I feel the only downside is that the tavern that is on the premises closes at 9:00 p.m. We were out all day visiting the Grand Canyon and other sights and when we got back, the bar was only open for about an hour. I think it should be open till at least 11:00 p.m. Charlie, the bartender, was very helpful when we asked for more cups and more coffee. If I ever get back to Marble Canyon and Vermilion Cliffs, I will definitely stay at Lee's Ferry Lodge again. Just as an added note, there is no restaurant on the premises, you need to drive a couple of miles to get to the closest one. You might want to bring your own food like subs or something that doesn't have to be cooked or heated.

I think the only thing that should be better is having the tavern open until at least 11:00 p.m. The motel is not in town and it would be great to be able to sit in the bar and socialize and play pool since there are no tv's for people to watch.

We booked a Kayaking trip in the horseshoe of the Grand Canyon. The company was out of Lee's Ferry Lodge so we decided to stay here that evening after being on the river. We absolutely loved it. It was rustic, cozy and clean. Beautiful views in all directions. We had a few drinks at the tavern that was there and enjoyed playing pool and darts. We then sat outside our room to enjoy the evening. While sitting outside our room, we were lucky enough to enjoy conversation with other guests that were sitting outside their rooms as well. This place is so relaxed and friendly. We will definelty be back.

A very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. A little bit of a step back in time. Although the room was not that large, it was clean and eclectically decorated with many different western and cowboy artifacts. There is a bar on site and we had fun talking with some of the people running the local condor conservation project. There are two other lodges a few miles in either direction that have restaurants. We ate at the Cliff Dwellers Lodge which is popular with delicious food. Moonrise over the distant cliffs was awesome. We were kayaking the Colorado early the next morning from Lees Ferry, so the location was great for that.

It is right on the road, but traffic is light during the night and the air conditioner pretty much drowned out any road noise.

Tavern awesome place to hang out before heading in for the night, friendly staff. Double Room perfect for our group. Bed comfy. Surroundings amazing. Quite overall as there is no one else around unless they booked there. Interested I'm doing the canyon kayaking next time.

Wished they served food at the tavern but went west to a restaurant which was still open at 8pm we were only ones there but food came out quick and food amazing and the 2 staff very friendly.

This is a wonderful location away from the more touristy northern part of the Vermillion cliffs. Great hiking the Spencer trail at Lee‘s ferry with exceptional views on the Colorado River. Easy access to White Pocket on BLM 1065. the rooms are VERY comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights with our two large dogs and two mountain bikes and had enough space to move around in the room. I highly recommend staying at this place.

The internet is a bit slow but good enough for emails on the cell phone. Perfect to get away from work.

This little place is located near the historic area of Lee's Ferry, and near the beautiful Vermilion Cliffs. There is a restaurant about 3 miles to the south, and another about 6 miles to the north. There is a tavern on the property, where we spoke with a friendly man behind the bar who offered to fix us pizza or a burger. Our room was tiny, but clean and nicely decorated; likewise the bathroom was tiny, but clean and well-appointed. All rooms open to the parking area, like a motel or motor lodge. I have no complaints, as we were traveling from Arches to Monument Valley, and wanted to sleep in between. Seemed a good number of the visitors there were planning on kayaking activities.

The guest wifi was down, and the alternative connection we were given to use never did work.

Location was amazing, great views and close to Lee's Ferry. Plenty of hikes, nice and relaxing. It was great they provided ice. Room was cozy and stayed cool.

They advise in advance they do not serve food, and all the pictures of the property show a mini refrigerator and microwave in every room, but we did not have either of these items and came with perishables for our outdoor adventures and stay. Was very disappointed with this.

The property is located in a breathtaking position right below the vermillion cliffs, we looked at the dawn right from the property and it was truly amazing. Property was clean and we loved the rustic spirit staff is preserving to the lodge. Staff was absolutely awesome and we also enjoyed availability on site of a gas grill in front of the rooms where we could grill some food, have a drink and play music with the kids.

No element to highlight, it was a very pleasant experience.
