We loved the grounds and our room, especially our view! We even blew off dinner reservations and ordered room service because we liked our room and our porch so much, we wanted to take full advantage of the relaxing vibe of it! Ask for casita 224, it’s perfect!

The only thing we didn’t like was the conference people that were there were loud all day in the pool and kind of obnoxious. They even woke us up at midnight and again at 3am just being drunk and loud.

The staff. The views. Golfing and the workout facilities. The pool was calm and the room was on point.

Not a dislike. The resort is secluded and land locked. Without a car you're reliant on rideshare. Also on property a ride is usually requested to and from venues. Just be prepared.

The rooms and the gentlemen in their carts

We stayed at the Boulders twice - going and coming from Santa Fe. Both times the young lady “greeting” us was hyper and agitated. When the weather outside is over 100 degrees what I want to see at the front desk is a welcoming of icy water and a quiet greeting. There also was a great deal of fuss over our reservations - both times. At the entry gate both times we were not on “ the list”. At the front desk we were not on “the list”. When I showed them my receipt from Booking - there was an aha moment and we were made to feel like 2nd class arrivals. And our $300/night casita was upstairs, and my husband and I are in our late 70’s…and the Boulders was far from occupied. Enough said.

Wood fireplace was exceptional and enhanced my experience. Being so far away from light pollution gave the night sky a beautiful glow of stars. The concierge Annie was very helpful and responsive during the duration of my stay. The bellman were prompt with replacing and starting the fires in my suite. The property is beautiful and I felt like royalty during my entire stay

I wanted the spa experience of the night bike ride but found out it was booked under a third party. the on-site spa give a number to call an schedule. The gentleman who does the bike adventures returned my call and stated that this feature is booked on a 48 hour notice only. I was disappointed by this news and surprised that no one in the spa know of this policy. Seemed as if I had to jump through hoops when inquiring about a service listed on the Hotels website under spa. I enjoyed my stay overall but the night bike ride would have elevated my views when looking to experience the mountains and trails ; since the spa was fully booked during my weekend stay .

I used this stay as a weekend staycation. The location was amazing and I really enjoyed the scenery, solitude and the ambiance. I would recommend this place to anyone local looking for a quick weekend getaway.

Beautiful property. Spacious rooms. Great golf course. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Excellent service throughout our stay. Great place for adults (not really as family oriented as the mega resorts). Romantic. Peaceful.

The property is far north and isolated. So be prepared to drive 30 minutes to get to the trendy restaurants and best Scottsdale activities. Also, the casitas are far apart. So you need a golf cart to come pick you up and take you from place to place on the property.

the property is beautiful and private. love that it is quick and easy to call for a ride

did not like that there was limited hours on poolside service. at 3:00 in the afternoon they were no longer serving food. At the spa pool, we had to leave because there was no service at all after 3, no food nor beverage.

Beautiful grounds- kept immaculate

Poolside food choices were few. Expensive turkey sandwich and chips had to suffice unless we went to the sit down restaurant. Spa and shop/restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays- not ideal Our casita was on the lower level- EVERY morning we were awakened at 7 am by the family above us- kids running, sounded like furniture being moved. Very rude. Wish we would have complained to the front desk immediately but had no idea it would go on every single morning for 4 days in a row

Staff was responsive, friendly and all in all great. Would have been nice to have wood in the fireplace...my only, very small negative. Hope to return and play the golf course.

We were surprise by the size of this property as is it quite large. Guests park in a parking lot and then are driven around the resort in golf carts that are available 24 hours. Casitas are spread out and we felt like we had a nice amount of privacy. Very nice view from our balcony - room 227!

Granted the fact that it was July and the resort is still dealing with covid - I wish the main restaurant Palo Verde had been open! The Grill and Spotted Donkey were just fine.
