The property is amazing - looks lite it came out of a fairy tale. The people are very polite and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely the best we ever had in any hotel, in the US or abroad. Looking forward to coming here again!

Apples Bed & Breakfast serves an exceptional breakfast each morning. The quiche and stuffed crepes were incredible. After breakfast it was hard to resist a warm cozy nap with a fireplace at bedside and the softest beds. I spent Christmas weekend together with my son who also gave rave reviews. We both feel the Pippin rooms are the most masculine for co-ed boarding. The main room was decorated beautifully for Christmas with a large tree weaved with snowmen ornaments. We had to adjust our itinerary due to a lack of natural snow. The Inn keeper is very helpful in recommending activities, restaurants and setting reservations. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Overall the ambience and surroundings were comforting enough to have a relaxing, joyful holiday no matter what the circumstances.

A used bar of soap was found in the shower that appeared to have been left by previous guests. It may have been missed during cleaning. Regardless, the rooms were very clean and staff was very attentive.

Rae our hostess was awesome, the whole feel of the Inn was quaint, cozy and very welcoming. The room was nice sized, comfortable and clean. The back yard grounds were beautiful and so relaxing. Breakfast was outstanding cooked by Rae and her staff and was set up in the formal dining room and served on real dinnerware. Even though I didn’t know the other guests, breaking bread together was a very satisfying experience.

The breakfast was amazing fantastic. The table settings were so beautiful. The best food ever on a trip. Rae and her husband were so kind and caring. Make sure you are very happy and well taken care of. It was a 20 on a scale of 10.

Nice and comfy, great location. Loved the board games. The breakfast is really big.

It was stated that cleaning the room was included but it was not done, we didn't complain as at the time there were no one in reception and then we were leaving the next day.

Beautiful location

Breakfast sucked and the spa tub was disgusting.. we turned it on and hair and little pieces of trash came out… we had to drain it and clean the jets which I have pictures of and fill again.. after that it was nice

This is probably the best Hotel I have ever stayed in period. The best staff ever, clean comfy rooms, free soft and hot drinks, free baked cakes and popcorn. The entire place is well decorated and smells so nice. Just perfect.

Nothing, PERFECT

Apples was a very nice surprise for us. The pictures did not do justice and no words can describe the most welcoming and fairy-tale atmosphere of the place. From the very first moment of our arrival, we felt Christmas magic. And it was not just beautiful decorations and professional hostess, it was more than that. All the guests mingled easily and played games in the lobby next to the fire place, sang songs, played music…We became like a family and shared our stories and joyful moments. Laurie helped us with her advice to find the best restaurants and entertainment places which were just 5-6 minute distant from our place. In contrast to modern design which puts emphases on gray and black, Apples preserved real Victorian atmosphere where one can find colorful walls, antique tea cups to enjoy evening tea or coffee after skiing in picturesque mountains of Big Bear. If you want to get Royal breakfast and enjoy large variety of delectable bakery of Jessica, Apples is the right and only place for you. We will certainly go back to Apples to enjoy this magic place. LAURE!!! She’s amazing. Property is an adventure but literally everything about this place is smiles for miles.

There was this squirrel that kind of punked me. He was super cute but gave me a stern stare. If he has has friends you better have some nuts.
