Staff was very responsive, note: this is a contactless property, so all communication is via text or phone. There were lots of pleasant little touches that we enjoyed. The A/C is powerful and makes very little noise, none of that on/off all night annoyance. Room is large. Freezer, refrigerator, microwave, hotplate, lighted mirror...everything worked. The property itself is older so we weren't too sure what to expect, but the stay was pleasant and trouble-free. The room is quite large, including lots of plugs, a chaise, a spa tub. Parking is not a problem. Place was very clean and comfortable.

Our only "knocks" are very minor. The TV has streaming connections to visitor accounts (YAY!) but there is no way we could find to access local channels, so thank goodness we had recorded KC/Baltimore game at home. Would have been nice to have a box of tissues available. Only one plate available, not a big deal since we didn't need plates, plenty of other tableware, etc.

Comfortable and quiet, and Thanks for ordering the snow lol. We arrived at the perfect time in order to see it snow etc. The hot tub in the living room was unique, and very relaxing. Being upstrs was best as well for the view and not having to be concerned at all with anyone above us. Also was in walking distance to the restaurants on the main blvd.

I'm a Realtor/Property Manager, and I was quite surprised that their was evidence of mildew from apparently a couple of ceiling roof leaks, and that these were not even addressed whatsoever. Neither were some small fixes like the splintered window sill by the hot tub, front blind would not stay up, open wall hole behind the toilet, and some dirty shower caulking. Nobody wants to see that, and it should always be in Rent Ready condition for all new stays.

The room was very very nice and clean (except the spa tub) the room was big, they had a fire stick TV connected so we could stream almost anything when it came time to wind down. Fireplace and a heater in the room. Microwave and a small single stove to cook up a little something if you wanted. They also had plates and silverware which came in handy. They also had a small lounge chair in the room along with a table with a rolling chair. For the price you could not beat what you got with this room and the space is very big compared to others at this price. And of course the spa tub.

The room was a little hard to find. It was tucked away on the Main Street right beside another hotel. The only instruction we got was oh it’s on the other side of that building. Which was true, but they never mentioned it was off the Main Street. Read your email because you have to check in at the main office and then they tell you where the room is. The bed was not comfortable. The bed was so so soft, too soft I can’t imagine sleeping on it for more than 2 nights. The spa was not cleaned very well at all. We had to clean it ourselves before using it. It had dirt and some leftover hair.

Great stay! My family had rented a cabin (and spent a lot of money on it!) for my brother’s birthday. The occupancy limit was 8 and we ended up last minute having 9 guests. The cabin rental place would not budge as far as even letting us pay for an extra person (INSANE!). We ended up having to book a hotel room for myself & my boyfriend in town. We found Big Bear Spa & Suites online. We had actually tried book a room at another hotel first but when I went to pay for it they wouldn’t except my card because it was a Debit/Visa card 🙄. So we moved on to Big Bear Spa & Suites which ended up being cheaper and had a way better room! I love that the entry to the door was a key code so I didn’t have to worry about misplacing a key card, etc. The room was clean, spacious and even had a really nice spa! It also had a decent size refrigerator which came in handy and was way better than those tiny ones hotels usually have. The staff was super friendly and we were able to reach them by phone and even by text message any time we had a question. They even aloud us to check in early at no additional cost. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Big Bear! It’s definitely a hidden gem!

The only issue we had was with the TV. It’s a fire TV and you have to download the Fire app to use it. Every time we tried to search for a show it would kick us off the wifi. It was hard to figure out.

Booked this location for a last minute gateway with a great rate. Nice room with comfortable bed & pillows. Friendly staff; Always were available even by text. FireTV with streaming apps available. Close to the Village, the Lake, and other local favorites. Express checkout was convenient. Definitely would recommend to others.

This is merely subjective but parking was tight for my assigned parking space due to the size of my truck. Window blinds need some attention as some are broken. Lastly, I thought the TV remote was broken or batteries were dead but discovered you must download the FireTV remote app to your smartphone in order to navigate through the FireTV apps - I learned of this after contacting the office as there was no notice advising to do so.

The room was a really good size and the bed was really comfortable. The room was very clean with an abundance of towels to go with the spa in the room .I liked that there was a fire place ( Gas? the pretty type behind glass so no effort needed but gives a romantic vibe & good heat). Netflix was available for free. Parking straight out the front. Looks just like the pictures and would be stunning in winter.

It is on the main room with no views from the two lower cabins. However we could not hear anything at night when we were in the room.

So me and my husband have been traveling California, not our first time in the state but first time in big bear, this was our favorite place we stayed. we felt so comfortable here almost as if we where home again. the cleaning ladies offered to tidy up the room while we where out, dropped off fresh towels and we just felt so special staying here. It was definitely a place to remember and enhanced the beauty of our trip. The jetted spa was a cherry on top and the location was fantastic. although the parking was sometimes difficult due to the mass of snow, the staff worked it all out for me right away. was so sad to leave here!

the location was good; close to the village and it was clean and the staff was nice

the room we stayed was facing the main road which we could here passing cars all the time; maybe the rooms facing other side would be ok. some little works could be done like fixing the loose door handle, putting a towel rack by the sink, having some deep cleaning of the spa tub as the holes in it were dirty; the broken blinds need to be fixed; filling the gap in the door so could block the noise from the main road

It was quiet, very clean and also had a small stove top you can prepare meals with along with utensils. There’s no office on site which makes it feel more at home. I definitely will be returning.

Little set back from the street so the first time finding it took a couple times of passing it. Otherwise there’s really nothing we didn’t like about it.

Checkin was convenient (all online) and we would even enter the room a little ahead of checkin time. The room is very large and comfortable, with a microwave and fridge. It is also within walking distance from the Village and from the Grizzly Bear cafe.

Two minor things. The road can be a bit noisy. The bubble bath in the room felt a little odd (we didn’t use it, as there is another smaller bathtub in the bathroom).
