Our stop at El Colibri during our 101 road trip was brief, but it left a lasting impression on us. Although I can barely remember how we got there amidst all the other sights and activities along the way, one thing that stands out is the excellent service by the receptionist. She was friendly, informative, and made us feel at home. After a long hike, the steam room was a wonderful addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. The bed was comfortable, and we had a peaceful and quiet sleep before resuming our adventure on the 101 highway. Although our stay was short, we made a quick stop at the Elephant Seal Vista Point before continuing on to San Francisco. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at this hotel and appreciate the great service we received.

During our stay, we were excited to find out that they had a Tesla charger available. However, when we arrived, it was already in use by another customer. Upon speaking to the helpful receptionist, she suggested that we contact the visitor to coordinate the use of the charger. Unfortunately, we felt too shy to take her up on the offer and ended up delaying our schedule a bit. We had to eventually stop at a supercharger, which was inconvenient.

Cozy boutique hotel. Spacious, clean room. Great access to the beach and Main Street shops. One Tesla charger is available, with 2 dedicated parking spots, no additional fee. Friendly staff, gave great recommendations for local dining.

No bath robes provided in the guest rooms, although advertised so in the online hotel photos. Dated, very dimly lit bathroom. Electrical outlet for plugging in a phone charger was only on one side of the bed. The hotel staff does not keep track of the Tesla charger users nor enforce the 4-hour max usage period when there are multiple guests (they were aware of my car ahead of time but not someone else, which ended up using up the charger all night long).

Very good hotel with excellent value for money. The hotel seemed to have been thought as luxury high-end a few decades ago, you can still feel that but somethings are outdates. Still, it is pretty good. Beds are very comfortable and room was very spacious. It is also walking distance to the beach and that was a great walk.

Room window was just in front of an AirCo device which was running hte whole day. One could hear the noise.

The room was spacious and quiet. Nice bathtub and large bathroom. Close to Moonstone beach but not on the beach. Covered parking.

The wine bar was a disappointment they were out of red wine. The snacks were all prepackaged nothing fresh available, except apples. I booked this hotel because of the spa, I called a couple of weeks in advance to book massages for me and my husband and there was no availability. Limited spa appointments.

the location was perfect. away from busy life. close to town and beach.

the customer service when we arrived. the front desk young girl did not inform us of anything the hotel had to offer, I asked about wine service only because I had read it online. However , even with that she didn’t bother to give me a tour or inform me how the dispensers worked. i waited till the third day of our stay to ask a new front desk person to give me information about hotel, which she did. we stayed for 5 days in total and did not explore hotel.

Old fashioned spa-inn, very comfortable and spacious rooms with great beds, electric fireplace, amenities. Hotel staff were super-nice and helpful. Good parking area, and just steps to the start of the boardwalk on Moonstone beach. There is a nice quiet garden area behind the hotel which is very quiet; our first peek out the window was of a black-tailed deer wandering around.

It's a little older style, and ready for refurbishing, but very clean. The hot tub was small and fully occupied during our stay by one large fellow, so don't count on that.

We loved our room! It was spacious with giant gorgeous windows and a fire place and spa tub. The couches and bed were comfy. Loved that we were able to use the steam rooms & hot tub of the spa. It was a really cute hotel in a nice woodsy location just up the street from the beach. The people who worked at the hotel were all really nice and helped with everything we needed. They had a pretty good selection of drinks and limited snacks... we got some beer, champagne & chips.

Wifi only worked downstairs in the lobby and actually no cell service at all except in town by the restaurants. It was a lot colder than we imagined (50-60F) and apparently that's typical for Cambria. The hotel had a cool beer tap area but it wasn't working.

We loved the location which is a short walk to Moonstone Beach and to restaurants.

Our room smelled like feet or pet so we aired it out and went for a walk. On our way out we casually mentioned it to Lisa at the front desk and when we came back she offered to move us into a different room down the hall. We accepted the move and the room smelled fresh!

The property is beautiful and central to many things to do.

They have all of these cool amenities that no one tells you about.. you had to like seek them out. They had an outdoor spa, with an indoor steam room that I stumbled upon on my last night there. I stayed 4 nights I wish I would have known night one. They offer a draft beer and wine selection that I inquired about and was not told. Anyways, little things like that. The hotel is beautiful.

solid! clean, everything worked except the wi-fi. The overall experience was good. I will definitely stay here again

some items were not as advertised, had to ask for maid service, Zero local information in the room. had to search for it in lobby. no communication upon check in like having to ask for maid service Wi-Fi passwords etc and wi-fi in our room was very poor, we had to go to doorway to get it.
