Check-in was easy. The lobby was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was a good size, clean, and looked newly renovated. Heater worked great, it was chilly and rainy so it was wonderful to warm up. There is a nice ceiling fan and really appreciate that it is on its own switch so light and fan can work independently.

Nothing, it was a great stay and would book again.

The pool is very nice and the location is fantastic as it across the street from the beach!

The only reason I didn't give this a higher rating is the two front desk gals were pretty cold. They didn't even acknowledge me when I approached the front desk. It was obvious I was an interruption. The younger, smaller gal mumbled so softly I could barely hear her and it was obvious she was new. The taller gal rolled her eyes at one point in the check-in. There was a VERY nice guy at the front desk who SMILED, spoke clearly and was VERY helpful. Also, FYI no hair dryer in the room if that matters to you.

Far exceeded my expectations! I spoke with the hotel staff multiple times before arriving and everyone was wonderful and helpful. I arrived late and there was someone to greet me. The room was better than I expected given the great low rate I booked. The bed was easily the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while traveling. The fridge was larger than a mini fridge and worked really well. The room came with a microwave as well although I did not need it. I tried the coffee which was sadly watered down but honestly I find that at most hotels and is not the fault of the hotel. My room was spacious and clean, the bathroom had been remodeled and was beautiful. I loved their environmentally friendly measures of providing soaps in refillable containers and I never had any issues with being out of soap. Water pressure and temperature were great. The only thing I wish I had was a light over what is the closet area in the corner as it was quite dark. Super close to the Hearst Castle, the lighthouse, and elephant seal viewing. Many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel but many more only a short 5-10 minute drive away. I only stayed for two nights/three days but if I didn't already have plans to move on I would have stayed a few days longer. I will definitely be back!

I wish there was a light in the corner where you put your luggage. It was very dark sometimes and hard to see what clothes I wanted to wear without moving my entire suitcase over to the bed.

Location was great, literally across the road was the beach. A few restaurants were within walking distance. I booked a room with a chimney and it was useful and made the room comfortable without having to turn on the heater. The room that I was given was on the second floor #282 facing the beach. This hotel had a headed indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The room was cleaned daily, even without asking.

It did not have an ironing board. I asked the front office for an iron and they provided one. Front desk staff were always very helpful and welcoming.

The facilities were very clean and it was a great stay for the price and value! Very close to Cambria, Paso Robles, and a short drive to Big Sur. I would definitely stay here again!

Two of the nights there was someone staying above us that had two dogs who were very loud and played well into the night, and so we didn’t sleep great those nights. I think if you are going to allow pets, they should be only on the bottom floor, because the hardwood floors above easily pick up noise, so it was very disruptive. Or there should be a size requirement because they were large dogs.

Room, was clean and comfortable

Reservation was prepaid and upon arrival, they said I had to pay for second room even after I showed receipt it was already paid. It was a lot of unnessary stress. I had to get booking.com involved. Found out the next day that the extra charge was credited, but never was told by front desk or did they apologize for their mistake.

Everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the rooms had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, the bathrooms have shampoo/conditioner, soap, and lotion. Is close to a few little mini marts, which are walking distance. And walking distance to the beach. There are a few restaurants near by and the motel has a restaurant too. Very happy with stay.

Room was newly renovated (new carpet, bath fixtures, tile), plenty of towels too. Had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. No a/c though, so in the summers you might be uncomfortable. We were fine. Mattresses were really nice. Clean smell throughout. Property is pretty bare bones, felt a bit like cabins at a camp ground (in a charming way). Has a pool and jacuzzi. Walking distance to a few restauants and convenience stores. Beach is across the street. Very quiet.

No ac in the unit, but it was a cool weekend so we were fine. Wood decking outside the room, so you could hear people walking in the morning.

We loved the location. My wife and I both were impressed with the short walk to the beach. We enjoyed sunset on the beach and a short stroll back to the hotel. We also loves the restaurant we got coupons for just across the street. The fireplace and balcony was a nice touch. I have to give a 10/10 for cleanliness! Hamburgers were suprisingly really good. The staff was also great.

The facilities are a bit dated. Once again we felt residents sort of made it a little less than ideal. One of the residents, or perhaps a regular? Anyways, someone who seemed extremely comfortable with the hotel was very aggressive and made it uncomfortable while we were trying to swim. We skipped our planned night swim and just hung out on our balcony.

The room was spacious and clean. The mini fridge had a tiny freezer, which was great because I carry ice packs.

Our door was stuck and was very difficult to open. We showed it to an employee and he helped us open it but didn’t do anything to fix it while we were there. Ask for a room away from the pool or you’ll get a ton of noisy people walking by until 10:30 or so.
