Very cute hotel in Carmel Valley. We got the king room and it was roomy and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The electric fireplace was a nice touch. There was a little patio with table and chairs in front of the room. The lady at the lobby was very nice and friendly. The little garden in front of the hotel was very cute. And it’s a dog friendly hotel so we could bring our fur baby.

Amazing location with walking distance to the village with easy access to a ton of restaurants and bars. Scenery is spectacular. The staff are amazing and will accommodate where required. Loads of parking, facilities are great.

Breakfast was very limited, but we just went to one of the restaurants in the village.

Love the ambiance, fire pits, chess and pool. The gift shop was cute and well stocked. We loved the balcony that overlooked the pool! It was very lovely.

The staff. The gentleman at the front desk was very condisending and seemed "put out." He changed when another staff member walked in and he became immediately nicer. He seemed annoyed and burnt out of "tourists." He said he lives on the property and eluded to how annoyed he would be if we needed him after hours. I just steered clear of him to avoid being talked down to, like I was the stupidest person on planet earth.

This is a bit inland from the Bay Area but not too far - only about 20 mins of a very pleasant drive. Hotel is very pretty - log cabin style with pretty gardens. The pool was wonderful for cooling down after the heat of the morning. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were absolutely lovely, recommending where we could go out for dinner and so on. Altogether a very enjoyable one night stop - over on our way down the coast. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Such a beautiful property and very close to the quaint town of Carmel Valley. Their gardens are lovely, the pool and hot tub were wonderful, and the continental "plus" breakfast a real treat. The bed linens were exceptionally soft (so nice and popular, in fact, that they sell them in their gift shop). There is also a charging station for electric cars.

The management worked to accommodate my mobility issues even though the room was not actually handicap accessible. The room was very clean.

The parking space in front of our room was intended to accommodate 6 rooms, but had only 4 marked spaces. The breakfast choices were VERY limited.

Friendly receptionist and staff that made sure to attend to our needs. We arrived past our normal check-in time and Juliana was still waiting for us, which was such a relief as we didn't have cell reception to call on time. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Pool and hot-tub amenities were excellent. Very chill and calm atmosphere.

The mini fridge in our room didn't get cold enough to keep our perishables cold even on the coldest setting. Could probably be fixed easily with a quick maintenance. Also, no microwaves in the room (not a big deal, but would be nice for heating up left-overs from our trip).

Everything was prefect! It was just wonderful and we would come back any time. The bed was comfy and the breakfast delicious. They take care of the lodge with love and with a special attention to detail. If you have an electric car, there is a charging station - very convenient.

breakfast was nice, the room was very clean and comfortable. They also lighted the outdoor fire-pit which was nice at night. Good location within walking distance of good restaurants. The owner and staff were very nice and accommodating. We were pretty lucky to have the place to ourselves since it wasn't a busy time of year.

This is a beautiful little hotel in a fabulous location. Our room was big and had everything we needed. We would love to have stayed longer but we were only travelling through this area. The staff are really lovely. I didn’t use the pool as I had a cold but the others in my group did. The fire pits in the eve are a great place to relax and unwind.
