I liked this place a lot. I got here late because of traffic so I missed the front office staff, but my key was waiting. The room was clean, the facilities were great. The room was quite quiet. I mean the area and room were perfect for a nice rest which is what I needed. The town isn't large but we were right around the corner from a nice saloon and restaurant. I'd happily visit again and I would recommend this place heartedly to anyone else visiting the area. I was on ym way up north, but I'd defiantly consider staying here again. The room was clean, and looked very nice. No complaints.

No complaints really, the owners seem to work hard on taking care of the property.

Bed was super comfy. Room was clean.

Man at the front desk was very rude and not helpful. Hotel is a bit of an enigma -- the bed was incredibly comfortable and it was quiet. But, furnishings are old, and tile, grout and bathroom fixtures need updates. Cracks around the shower.

There was no breakfast available at this lodge, but the manager suggested a place within walking distance for an excellent breakfast. The room and lavatory area were very spacious, and the manager, not only seemed interested in giving us the 2nd floor room with the best view across the small parking lot into the autumn-foliaged trees along the picturesque Sonoma Creek, but she was also very quick to address a small problem with our blinds in our room.

The Jack London Lodge has been on these premises for a long, long time, while still managing to maintain their up-to-date accommodations. There is nothing we can say that could improve on the many things they are doing right!

My sister and I were traveling not for pleasure, it was for working on our brother's affairs from his passing a month ago. The Lodge offered us respite from the chores of the day. Being outside of Santa Rosa in a peaceful place where no one knew us, and we could be quiet. After long days the drive out was relaxing and beautiful. When we would arrive at the lodge, have a nice shower then, enjoyed dinner for two nights at the Bar. The bartender was so very nice and the atmosphere was calming even if a women's soccer game was going on. We could relax a bit and just be. Watch others be spirited but kind, hear laughter, and then walk back to our room by way of the pool for our feet to relax in the lovely water.

That we needed an extra night but the prices had become too steep.

We arrived late. The office was closed. They had left the keys attached to the office door. The bed was king size.

Value for my money? The place is a glorified motel. For $400 a night I had expect a stunning place. It was average. I requested an extra bed for the second night. They charged me $30 more (and only after I personally went to the office... they would not charge me by phone). They did not have the kindness of sending an extra towel. I would not stay there again or recommend it. Not at $800 for two nights. We needed to add a roll in bed for the second night. This was provided for a cost of $30 plus tax. The pool was dirty and the jacuzzi did not work. There was nowhere to ask for an extra towel. But mostly I was unhappy at the ridiculous cost.

The town and location was amazing - quiet but accessible. The beds were so comfy. The pool and grounds were great. We were close to everything without the insane holiday weekend traffic, and could walk to a French pattisiere for breakfast each morning.

The bathroom could use a remodel and the mirror was warped, which was trippy post wine tour.

The location is great. Our room was clean.

The room although it had some upgrades was not done well. The handle in bathtub was loose , light on mirror flickered and the place to plug in a hairdryer was quite loose. The wine glass was dirty and when I asked for a clean one I was told there were no clean ones. The other issues were an odor in the room and no breakfast is included.

My mom lives in Sonoma and couldn't fit us all in her house for the holidays. I make it a point we go through Glen Ellen on our way home to Chico as we love the area. This will be our go to place to stay when she can't fit us all in her house. So glad we found this little gem to stay in next time we need accommodations.

Our upstairs neighbors were a bit loud even after 11pm, but we just put earbuds in to block the footsteps and noise.

Fantastic location. Room clean and spacious. Quiet. Pool. Plenty of parking. Great recommendations for dining- all within walking distance: The Fig cafe and patisserie for breakfast pastries and Coffee (the best coffee this trip!). And an introduction to Jack London.

Decor perhaps a little dated for our tastes but clean, so absolutely no complaints.

Guests above our room starting preparing to leave at 230 am, walking around room for approx 45 mins, then dragging their luggage down the steps, we were awake for well over an hour, this happened on our previous stay also.Maybe a note on check in desk, asking if early AM departure inform clerk and if available can be placed in room on first floor.
