We stayed here for a mid-week local getaway. The property had an excellent location, a short drive from many wineries and the town of St. Helena. The room was spacious and the amenities were fabulous. We enjoyed the pool area, transformed at night with a fire pit. There were lots of places to relax around the property. The breakfast was really good, featuring the famous English muffin from Model Bakery. It was cooked to order and fresh. Bed was comfy too. It was a really relaxing stay.

Well, we got overcharged by $120 - the price did not match what we were quoted on Booking.com - but we were able to sort that out. Also did not love the $250 damage deposit which we had to wait for 4 days to be returned.

The location is great and the room is spectacular. Rutherford is in the middle of Napa, can easily get to many winery on foot! The room is amazing, newly designed with really spacious shower room and a backyard for some outdoor space. We usually stay at 5 star hotels and i can guaranteed the room is 5 star hotel quality! The entire hotel is just beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay here and wish we had booked more nights to stay longer. There are parking spots right in front of the hotel entrance, which is super convenient!

The pool is much smaller than the photo but not a big problem. We drove an EV and there's no charging station in the hotel. But we found one nearby so also not an issue.

The inn is beautiful and quiet, the rooms are very big and nicely decorated. The outside spaces are cosy and inviting. The location is good for exploring Napa Valley, but there isn't anywhere to just walk around, Rutherford itself has no tiuristic attractions, shops or cafes.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment. You could select three items out of 6 available, which were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs (served cold, no mustard available), some sausages which were horrible, fruit and pastry. The fruit was good but all the others were completely unappetizing. No bread, no jam. They kept mixing the orders.

After thoroughly researching Napa hotels, Rancho Caymus was a SPECTACULAR FIND! It exceeded expectations and made my birthday trip special. Gorgeous pool. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful rooms. Exquisite showers. Fireplace in the rooms made our stay so cozy. We rented three rooms altogether and I would have been happy spending our entire time simply enjoying the pools, hot tub and fire pits on premise. The hotel was centrally located (5 minute drive) to the various vineyards we visited. The staff was delightful! Check-in was smooth with on-premise parking and a bell hop to help with luggage. Housekeeping kept the bedrooms immaculate and the landscaping of fallen leaves perfectly tidy each morning. The included breakfast was DELICIOUS and the restaurant team was very friendly! We had SUCH a wonderful stay and I'm looking forward to absolutely returning again. We rented 2 deluxe king (spacious with comfortable beds, electric fireplace, newly remodeled bathrooms) along with 1 premium suite (large living room area with a large bathroom with beautiful stained glass in the shower). The morning coffee in the lobby was delightful. The fireplaces were running morning, noon and night. The plush hotel robes were so cozy. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved this place! The reception area was inviting, the staff were all very friendly but not overbearing, the room was huge, and the the bed/bedding was so comfortable. The shower was heated and the amenities were all very nice, and we loved the comfy robes. We also loved the breakfast options (especially the English muffins!), and the restaurant staff were so friendly. Parking was easy and ample, and the tacos at the market across the street were tasty! The owner/management seem to have thought of everything a guest would want/need! Definitely would stay here again (anytime, but especially when the weather is better).

Very minor, but a smart tv would’ve made the room perfect (for the days when one is stuck inside due to bad weather—-but hopefully next time we are back, the weather will be more cooperative and we won’t need a tv at all!). Again, that’s very minor!

Charming clean and comfortable room. The cleaning staff was efficient and friendly. The location was good.

The thing I liked least was dealing with the front desk. On the first night, we were bottom floor on the side where there is a sort of alley and cement wall. We complained in the morning for a number of reasons: feeling unsafe with doors to patio open for air, noise in alley, the cement wall being unpleasant to see. She offered to move us up, just over the room we had, from 105 to 205. I said that was not great because we would still be on the alley. She said she could move us to the other side but there would be a delay as the rooms are vacated and cleaned-- we said fine. Then when we returned, she put us in. room 205. It was as if our conversation had never existed. Very disappointing. Also, the room cost is ridiculously expensive.

Rancho Caymus Inn was wonderful experience! Our room was gorgeous! Love the decor. The facility was beautiful. The location was perfect for the wineries we were visiting. The staff was so helpful and nice. There was even a special happy hour with a wine tasting. The complimentary breakfast was such a nice, yummy treat each morning. I would definitely stay there again.

Just be aware that if your room is on the second floor, there is no elevator (that we could find). So you must carry your bags upstairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some.

Breakfast was outstanding and service was on point. My one minor suggestion is possibly offer this breakfast served to the room. That would be a nice addition. The rooms were large and comfortable. AC was powerful which was nice on hot days. Pool and jacuzzi area was fantastic especially the fire pits and soft music!!! It was too hot to sit by outdoor chimney, but it looked nice.

When we entered the room, the toilet seat was broken and shower door handle was loose. Called the front desk, and maintenance fixed while we were out at dinner. The refrigerator or wine cooler was useless. Please replace with a small useful refrigerator for leftovers, a properly chilled wine, etc. Overall the bathroom size compared to room size was way too small. Both of us couldn't be in the bathroom at the same time. My expectation from the pictures on website, that the bathroom was larger, and this was, among these items mentioned, very disappointing. Lastly --I would suggest featuring a light happy hour with a few featured wines and charcuterie for your guests in breakfast area.

Beautiful location, free cooked to order breakfast, large room, great location.

The AC was really loud. On the day I checked in I asked for a possible late check out. I was told to ask tomorrow. I asked the next day and was advised to ask tomorrow again. At that point, they stopped responding so we had to check out at check out time on the dot.

Location is perfect for folks looking for some 'off the hustle' location but smack in the center of great Napa wineries. The Rancho Caymus Inn is very quaint with charming decor and enclosed peaceful pool/spa and separate fireplace sitting area. Across the street is a market that is well known for great take out Mexican food - very popular with the locals based on how many were there. The staff is excellent, accommodated our early check in request, and always there for questions, even provided us a couple wine glasses for us to sit by the fire with our find!

Room decks off the bedroom do not have attractive views. Though a very charming thought with beautiful decks off the bedroom the view is of a industrial building. Not a fault of the property, we booked & paid 10 days in advance and by the time we arrived the rooms we discounted another $150/night. Since we already paid through Booking.com not much to be done there. Suggest if you are planning a stay before the season starts (highly recommended) book your stay a day or two before arriving for the best deal.
