Beautiful setting on the ocean. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The breakfast is included and there was a nice selection of bakery items. You can either eat in the breakfast area or take your breakfast selections on the provided trays to your room or patio. Our room had a mini kitchen area with a burner, fridge, microwave, toaster, utensils and dishes. The bed and linens were very nice.

It was mostly quiet with exception of conversations in the hallway. The room included a fireplace, however, the bag of logs would not light up so we were not able to enjoy a fire. There were two TV 's but a remote controller was missing from one. The bathroom had two sinks but lacked counter space. There was an adequate shower and separate tub. Did not have a mini bar available. I think the staff could have explained the setup at check-in with more detail.

We loved the full ocean view suite with the sound of waves crashing so close. We also loved the walking/bike path that was steps from our room. We enjoyed 2 two hour long walks along the ocean. Lastly, Sam’s Chowder House was steps away and has a great menu & delicious food!

We had one incident when our fireplace caused excessive smoke to fill our room due to a down draft. The staff reacted quickly & offered us the adjacent room to sleep in that night.

Room was spaciuos and comfortable. Staff were all really great. Enjoyed the Hot Tub and loved the outdoor patio area. Great access to the beach. Previous stay was in a room overlooking the bay and it was much better and worth the price!

Overpriced for a room described as mountain view with the balcony overlooking the parking lot and constantly noise due to Highway 1 traffic. On Sunday morning the carpet steam cleaning truck was running in the lot and extremely loud all day.

Very nice room with sea view, small kitchen, sitting area and fireplace. The breakfast offers a good selection and the they offer trays so you can enjoy it in your room with nice sea views. Staff was extremely friendly. If you are arriving from abroad, after a long flight to SFO this is a great relaxing option after only a short drive from SFO. There is a good restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away.

I couldn't really find anything I didn't like

We loved the view from our room. The pool was nice and warm. Location and parking was good too. We enjoyed the breakfast in our rooms by the fireplace. We were able to walk along the beach...very soft sand.

We liked everything about The Beachhouse. My only issue was with the guests upstairs. They made alot of noise, children running and jumping til late even with earplugs made sleeping difficult.

The overall ambiance, location, landscaping, staff, room, bed, balcony, fireplace, path to the ocean… everything was fabulous.

Breakfast is a bit awkward with large trays and very little room to move around. But it was fine and appreciated a light breakfast before we had to leave.

Great location, awesome staff, room was amazing (love the fireplace option with little bag of wood) My only disappointment was trying to schedule their spa treatments. Never heard back from the spa staff and didn't use the services.

The hotel is wonderful. Super comfy bed and a nice view. I loved how there was a stove top and dishes and everything you needed on the kitchen. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower and a tub. The pool is small and outside, but heated. The hot tub is a good size. The breakfast is limited but free. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas and the staff was friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

Driving up to this hotel I was so pleased with the appearance, the beauty of the outside sure matched the inside! We booked two ocean view junior suites in total three adults and four children were with us during our stay. Check in was done later in the evening with two exceptionally polite front desk women. The rooms were immaculately clean, view was beautiful from our sliding glass window and there was beach access by way of stairs at the end of the hotel. Great place to book for a romantic vacation getaway.

There isn't really anything that necessarily could have been better. The only thing I would advise is if you are taking children with you asked to be placed at the far end of the hotel. I was so self conscious of my children being too loud or unruly because you could tell this hotel is on the higher end.

Absolutely adorable location - rooms are cozy and the views stunning. Very quiet in the sea front rooms. Staff were courteous - some nice restaurants locally. A great location overall.
