Good breakfast.

I had a 17 pound dog with me and I was not happy with the $45 per day charge to have that pet in my room. That is excessive to me. I was not happy that I was not allowed to obtain a AAA rate once I checked in because they said I had used a third-party booking service. This does not seem fair to me, since there is a AAA sign on the front of the hotel.

we have stayed here several times over the years! it’s the perfect location on highway 1, and the rooms are always clean and comfortable! i love the coffee that’s always available in the lobby.

my only complaint about this stay, was the lack of breakfast options. in years past, there have been eggs, sausage of bacon, bagels, toast, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, and cereal! this time there was only waffles, yogurt and cereal. the waffle station was consistently busy, because there was only one waffle iron. there was only one staff member in the lobby, and she was doing amazing! but she was handling all of the check out, phone calls, and restocking the breakfast bar. these are small complaints overall. and I know that staffing shortages make things hard. but adding a few more prepackaged breakfast choices might make things easier on the staff and the people staying. :)

we stay in this place every year as a stopover after arriving in SFO. The room is always spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, there is parking, there are several decent restaurants for dinner just up the road in Princeton, and there is free breakfast the next morning

We settled on this hotel in the the area, because the breakfast has always been very good over the past decade. Unfortunately this year there was no more toast/bagels/good cereal selection - only waffles, which are no solid foundation for the day, or a plastic cup of cheerios. Very disappointing

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and we were able to choose from bottom or top floor which I appreciated. Beds are a little hard but overall, with us only staying for one night, it worked for our purposes!

No real complaints. The location is right on the highway so you do get some traffic noise, but that is to be expected in the area.

Room size and location. Right on busy highway 1 but room was quiet inside. Plenty of parking and my labordoodle dog loved the short walks to the beach and trails around the area. Beautiful.

Breakfast. Fresh apple and coffee was all I could eat on the breakfast. They did have fruit loops or cheerios, waffle maker and yogurt with surgery fruit in it. I don't eat any of these high carb surgery things. My husband is diabetic so their breakfast was a big no and harmful for him also.

Unfortunately, breakfast was no way up to our expectations. there was only one waffle maker, and it was broken. there were people waiting in line to use it. I thought there would be much more of a variety for breakfast. There were some bagels. We ended up just leaving and going to a restaurant unfortunately.

Perfection location for tide pooling in the wee morning hours, eating in Half Moon Bay, and berry-picking in Pescadero. Easy 15-minute walk in a quaint neighbhorhood to the nearest beach. Excellent customer service. We had a few room issues and the staff actually switched rooms for us without our asking. While it was disappointing to have to switch rooms and lug our bags down and up stairs to get to another building, we were happy to have a fully functioning room. Breakfast was ok. There was one waffle maker, but if I remember correctly, everything else was a cold breakfast item, such as cereal, muffins, and fruit. Coffee and tea available almost all day in the lobby.

The first 4 keys provided to us would not work to open the door. Finally a staff person had to come open the door. Once we returned from the beach and dinner, we tried to shower, but the tub was really clogged. I called the front desk but there was no maintenance person on-site (it was probably 9 or 9:30pm), and they didn't have any tools I could use to de-clog the drain.

Very good budget stay. Clean, lots of parking, friendly check-in, comfortable bed. Shower was hot with very good pressure, and tub had jets, though they were very loud. Room was very quiet, and there is a good Japanese restaurant walking distance.

Pretty standard motel facility-wise, and minimal breakfast, though it did have waffle makers.

Quiet

Big noise of pipes when someone next door either flushed a toilet or put on a shower. The noise lasted about 30 seconds. If they can get that fixed it would be nice. I prefer the whole bathroom as one unit instead of the sink out in the common area where people can see you washing up.

Breakfast was awesome had a wide variety of sellections. Our room was very comforable and clean.

It would be nice if there was a left turning lane into hotel had to go always turn around and come back. Overall our stay was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I will stay again when I can.
